Mise à jour vers 24.04 LTS possible ? [Résolu]
Bonjour,
Actuellement, je suis sous la version 22.04 LTS et début Mars, j'ai eu un problème de carte graphique dû je pense à une mise à jour. Avec l'aide du Forum, j'ai pu régler en grande partie le problème (sauf la taille des icônes) mais aujourd'hui, je suis obligée de démarrer à partir du noyau 6.8.0-106 en mode recovery.
Comme le passage vers la version 24.04 LTS m'est toujours proposé, je voulais savoir si je pouvais l'installer sans problème et que la carte graphique fonctionnerait correctement.

Pour savoir si la carte graphique fonctionne, télécharges la version 24.04, mets-là dans une clé usb de boot. Puis boote. Tu verras alors si la carte fonctionne bien.
Si oui, tu pourras accepter la mise à niveau sans trop de risques.
P.S. Si tu as une clé USB de grande capacité, utilise Ventoy

C'est avec la carte graphique Intel JasperLake ?
Passes cette commande (l'option -c permet de vérifier l'existence d'une mise à niveau possible sans la lancer réellement) :
sudo do-release-upgrade -cConseils pour les nouveaux demandeurs et pas qu'eux
Important : Pensez à passer vos sujets en [ Résolu ] lorsque ceux-ci le sont, au début du titre en cliquant sur Modifier sous le premier message, et un bref récapitulatif de la solution à la fin de celui-ci. Merci. Membre de Linux-Azur

C'est bien la carte Intel JasperLake xubu1957. Je viens de passer la commande et la réponse est
Lancer « do-release-upgrade » pour mettre à niveau vers celle-ci.Cela signifie que je peux donc upgrader sans problème ?

S'il y avait un risque de problème lors de l'upgrade, est- que cela aurait été signalé dans la réponse à ma commande ?

Frappe la lettre o pour déclencher la mise à niveau.
Pense que l’installation du nouveau thunderbird est très longue.
Je me demande s’il n attends une réponse à une question qui reste cachée par l’écran principal,

Bonjour,
J'ai effectué la mise à jour tôt ce matin pour être sûre que je ne serai pas dérangée.
A un moment, j'ai dû choisir entre différentes propositions.
Propositions
Comme je ne savais pas quoi faire, j'ai choisi celle par défaut. Ce qui m'a étonnée, le titre de la fenêtre était en russe ou une autre langue de ce type puis à la fin s'est de nouveau affiché en français.
Résultat, la mise à jour a bien été faite. Je suis bien en 24.04 LTS
Par contre, au démarrage, le noyau est toujours le même (6.8.0-107-generic).
Je n'arrive pas à réduire la taille de la fenêtre. Je suis un peu perdue.
