Apres pas loin d'une semaine de recherche, Je parviens enfin a avoir des fps correct..
Mais, par rapport a ce que j'ai lu, je pense qu'il doit y avoir un moyen de le booster encore un peu...
Exemple:

Par contre, sur les memes cartes, on peut voire dans ce topic que parfois, y'a plusieurs résultats différents. Soit les résultats de glxgears sont identiques et pas ceux de fgl_glxgears, soit c'est l'inverse.
Qu'est-ce qui pourrait expliquer ça ?

et y aurait-il une idée quelconque pour mon problème situé plus haut (en page 3) ou vaut-il mieux que j'ouvre un autre post ?
On m'a parlé p-e d'une mauvaise gestion de l'agp dans mon cas, ce qui expliquerait mon score pitoyable ?
Y a t'il des commandes avec lesquels je pourrais tester ? Je suis relativement débutant ^^

Bon alors moi j'ai un p'tit soucis, je me demande si ma carte n'est finallement, pas supporté

HOWTO : Précisions pour réactiver le lecteur TOTEM
hé oui, apres avoir effectué les modifs (voir ma reply en page 3), je n'avais plus le lecteur totem : plantage immediat avec une fenetre pop-up qui me raconte "device busy"...
Par hasard, en essayant d'installer mon tuner TV, je suis tombé sur LA manip à effectuer pour le retrouver.
ça se passe ici
Donc, je vous le refais en français:
Retournez dans le fichier /etc/X11/xorg.conf et rajoutez cette ligne:
Option "VideoOverlay" "on"
dans la section où votre carte ATI est déclarée.(la même section que là où vous avez remplacé driver=ati par driver=fglrx)...
pas de changement dans les perfs, par contre, TOTEM, et tvtime fonctionnent....
A noter que VLC,lui, a toujours fonctionné.

Pour moi, ca ne fonctionne pas !!
J'ai suivi à la lettre le tuto, mais le serveur xorg plante (écran noir + clavier inactif - obliger de faire un reboot au boutton)
J'ai une Radeon 9000 pro (j'ai aussi testé avec une 8500, mais même résultat !)

Pas de logiciel de montage vidéo professionnel sous Linux ? Demandez à Sony son portage de Vegas Pro sous Linux... ou attendez Lightworks ;)
