Salut,
j'ai aussi un problème la souris suis, j'ai le clique mais le seul problème que j'ai est que je ne peux pas surligné du texte par exemple ou sélectionner plusieurs icônes à la fois, la souris fout le camp en haut a gauche.
Autrement merci beaucoup frafa ton script m'a sauvé.

j'ai cru que c'était à cause de mon fichier blacklist rajouté à la main alors qu'il faut "blackllst.conf"! Après avoir supprimé et blacklist usbtouchscreen dans /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf (curieux car malgrés l'execellent script de frafa (MERCI MERCi MERCI) usbtouchscreen n'y figurait pas).
Bref... je cherche toujours.
Curieusement, je n'ai pas de raccourci administration=>eGalaxTouch ??? si ça peut aider .....

Sous 10.4 ou 9.10 ? Perso, sous 9.10 ca marchait sans pb.... mais formatage => windows puis Reformatage => ubuntu 10.4....

Comme vous l'avez constaté, il y a des problèmes de compatibilité.
En plus du blacklistage, il est possible que vous ayez besoin de désactiver des drivers.
En ce qui me concerne, j'ai mis en commentaire dans le fichier:
/user/lib/X11/xorg.conf.d/05-evdev.conf
toutes les lignes des 3 entrées relatives à 'touch' ou table(tte) (sur les 5 présentes).
Un redémarrage + calibration suffit ensuite

PS: sur ubuntu 10.04, le fichier xorg.conf est à regénérer.
Puis à copier sous /etc/X11/
Ensuite, lancer le setup.sh ... et en redémarrant, on arrive dans un état similaire à celui ci-dessus : quand tu poses ton doigt sur la dalle, un "carré de sélection" apparait(origine en haut à gauche).
Il faut ensuite faire l'opération que j'ai décrite.
Attention à la calibration, surtout aux options de click que l'on veut avoir.

Concernant le scrolling et toute autre fonction, elles sont en général toutes implémentées dans les chips de pilotage des dalles.
Je ne m'en sers pas (pas besoin), mais elles sont accessibles aux drivers.
Il "suffit" qu'ils les exploitent pour les avoir au niveau applicatif.
Si c'est le cas, il faut aussi que les programmes les utilisent, ou d'avoir les plugins qui le font (pour firefox) ... mais je ne les connais pas

Là c'est lorsque j'ai essayé avec le driver evtouch, mais j'ai le même message lorsque je met le driver egalax.
J'ai déjà essayé plusieurs choses sans aucun résultat et là je craque un peu.
Ma version du serveur X est :

La version du noyau : 2.6.31-14
Ma carte mère est une EPIA CN13000 avec a VIA CN700 et j'utilise les drivers propriétaire de VIA (ça crash aussi lorsque je met le driver openchrome).
La version du driver de egalax testé est celle que l'on trouve actuellement sur leur site.
Je suis sous Ubuntu Karmic.
Si certains ont des idées je suis preneur !

Bon finalement ça marche !
J'avais déjà bidouillé avec tkusb et comme ça ne fonctionnait pas j'avais pas essayé le script de Frafa (grossière erreur !). Par contre il n'est plus tout à fait à jour puisque la version des drivers à déjà changer (rien de bien compliquer à modifier !).
Bon allez je vais m'amuser avec mon nouvel écran ! Merci beaucoup à Frafa !

J'ai essayé ce script sous lucid, avec les drivers normaux et beta, mais ça me plante systématiquement xorg ... Au redamarrage je suis en low graphics ...
Pour mon matos (lsusb | grep eGalax) :

J'oubliais, impossible de lancer egalax dans le terminal, et le calibrage n'est pas dispo dans le menu admin.
Je suppose que le driver s'est mal installé mais ...

Salut. Valable(utilisé) pour la 10.04!
(et sur dalle tactile sur usb!!!)
Avant d'installer le driver eGalax, modifie le fichier setup.sh
blacklistpath="/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist"
==> blacklistpath="/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf"
Ensuite refais un setup. (avec oui au blacklistage!!!)
Un reboot est demandé, avant calibration.
-> ...eGalaxTouch32\eGalaxTouch32\eGalaxTouch
Réglage des conflits de compatibilité:
Editer /usr/lib/X11/xorg.cond.d/05-evdev.conf
Supprimer les 3 dernier devices relatifs à touch ou table(tte)

PS: pour que ça fonctionne, le device est vu sur /dev/usb/hiddev0, et non pas event4 (enfin ... pour moi).

1 la seule chose que je te dirais d'essayer avant d'essayer 'à la main':
Edite /usr/lib/X11/xorg.cond.d/05-evdev.conf
->Supprime les 3 dernier devices relatifs à touch ou table(tte)
et relance le setup après reboot.
3 Moi, j'ai réussi à avancer en suivant le guide pas à pas et en regardant le script.
-> le script te dit quoi faire : tu dois recompiler tkusb ... (
2 Mais avant de tenter cela, j'essayerai sur un autre disque dur une installation complète et la tentative de configuration de la dalle.
Pour le cas ou tu aurais cassé quelque chose pendant tes essais ...
