pas bossé sur osx,
tu cherche a faire quoi ?
ajouter une iso genre iATKOS dans multisystem,
ou booter une clé usb multisystem sur un mac ?
si second cas, Plop à pas mal évolué il me semble sur le support des mac avec ma version 5.0.13
les derniers test que j'avait fait sur le mac d'une copine en bootant sur cdrom plop + clé multisystem
fonctionnait a condition de connecter un clavier en USB...

HackerLiberty à tripaouillé la dedans, il te répondra surement mieux que moi à ce sujet si premier cas ...

Bonjour Frafa,

Suite au passage d'Ubuntu a Unity, j'ai voulu me servir de Multisystem pour essayer d'autres versions d'Ubuntu (Lubuntu et Kubuntu).

Donc, j'ai bien installe les dépôts, j'ai réussi a installer Multisystem sans problème, puis j'ai fait un glisser déposer de mes iso sur ma clé.
Et la c'est le drame, je n'ai jamais réussi a booter sur la clé (mon BIOS est bien configure), et ma clé n'est plus reconnu.... Quand je la branche, la diode sur la cle s'allume, mais elle ne se monte pas, Ubuntu ne la voie pas du tout. Un lsusb ne la trouve pas....

En désespoir de cause, je l'ai aussi essayer sous WinXP, elle n'est pas détectée non plus.
J'ai essayer le petit logiciel libre testdisk, qui ne la voie pas non plus....

S'il te plait, dis moi que je n'ai pas flingué ma clé.... hmm smile

Bonjour,

Il y a apparement des bug sous Oneiric liés à des règles udev
dans le système de détection des volumes amovibles ...

démarre sous natty, eventuellement en livecd si tu n'a rien d'autre sous la main ...
et verifie si tu as les mêmes souci, si souci est le même,
debreanche/rebranche ta clé USB, attend que elle ne clignotte plus,
et fait passer le retour de la commande: dmesg

a tout hasard, c'est quoi l'iso que tu as droppée ?
pas un truc win avec un virus ?

OK, je vais télécharger un live cd et faire le test.

J'ai télécharger mon iso sur le site officiel, je ne pense pas qu'il y ait de problème avec ça...

Quand je branche, ma clé usb, elle ne clignote pas, elle s'allume directement.

Je suis sous Natty en liveCD, je branche ma clé et il ne se passe toujours rien... Ubuntu ne la voit pas (rien dans le moniteur systeme, rien dans Gparted)

Hum ça sent mauvais ...
Ubuntu voit ta clé USB comme un cdrom, et du coup il n'arrivre pas a la monter.
c'est quoi le modéle/marque de ta clé USB ?
a tout hasard fait voir le retour de: sudo fdisk -l
a mon avis elle contient un controleur qui gère les partitions cdfs (emulation de cdrom)
et le firmware interne de la clé USB est corrompu, soit pas de chance ca arrive,
soit par un virus win, soit pas utilisation d'un soft win genre "SMI_UFD_Utility" ...

il existe un site russe (assez indigeste pour nous autres mangeurs de grenouilles)
qui référence pas mal de firmware de clé USB, et qui permet de les restaurer ...

Oui ma clé est une Sandisk Cruzer Titanium 8 Go et c'est au format U3. Il y avait ce problème de lecteur CD virtuel jusqu'à ce que je désactive dans le menu U3. Ou formate tout simplement...? En tout cas, ça s'était résolu sous Windows... ***Je hais ces clés***

Pour ce qui est du support Mac OS X pour MultiSystem :

Je précise tout d'abord qu'essayer de supporter MacOS X, c'est essayer le plus bel exemple de l'UEFI (post-BIOS) et du Secure Boot qu'a copié Windows 8 en quelque sorte... La direction de l'UEFI n'est pas saine et si MultiSystem supporte MacOS X, l'utilisateur devra d'abord avoir un BIOS-type UEFI ou modifié. Je ne suis plus supporter de ces verroux imposés. Deux axes : le Hackintosh, et l'install' d'images disques Mac sur un vrai Mac avec MultiSystem.

Le premier axe, j'aime pas. Trop difficile. Pas universel. Artisanal. Dans trois ans peut-être que oui...?

Premier problème : le Hardware est pas souvent compatible du premier coup = le problème des kexts (kernel extensions, sorte de drivers) mais des Mac OS X remasterisés s'en occupent à priori comme le Hack OS X iATKOS L1 ou maintenant aussi BLANGSAK Lion V3 mais sans doute pas à 100%.

Deuxième problème : le firmware du BIOS (il faut rendre visible les options SATA Mode to AHCI et ACPI Power Mode S3 "SuspendToRAM" voire aussi HPET en 64-Bits mode) bloqué et limité en général surtout sur les PCs portables. Il faut donc priviléger un PC portable avec une marque faisant partie de l'institut de normalisation UEFI. Asus gère le mieux de ce côté là je crois (et un peu MSI). Pour déverrouiller le BIOS, c'est le site http://bios-mods.com/ qui s'en occupe gentiment à votre place.

Troisième : avoir un Mac pour pouvoir gérer l'install' d'un Mac sur un PC sinon on est dans la galère mais des solutions incertaines existent comme ImageWriter dispo sous Windows et GNU/Linux pour booter Mac OS X via USB. Il reste toujours la virtualisation avec VBox ou Qemu pour "préparer le Hackintosh".

Quatrième : mode préparatoire rustique ==> DVD-RW avec une gravure foireuse le plus souvent, USB pas géré de la même manière, iATKOS n'est pas optimisé de premier abord pour l'USB. Il faut préférer dans un souci de compatibilité un DVD-R ou DVD+R récent de gravure au moins 8x (récent donc j'insiste !) plutôt de marque Verbatim que de la marque Sony et ce, pour un lecteur optique au format SATA. Sinon, par mode usb, en prenant en compte les ordinateurs portables, on ne peut qu'utiliser l'utilitaire de disque mac avec quelques tâches pas forcément "automatiques" ou vous pouvez toujours aller voir l'utilitaire UniBeast de Tonymacx86...

Dans deux ou trois ans, on pourrait rêver et penser que le Mac est moins unilatéral, moins UniSystem et plus...MultiSystem.

Mais là, franchement, la philosophie MultiSystem et du Libre ne s'accordent en rien au principe du Hackintosh qui est si usant en temps à mettre en place par le large nombre de verrous existants. On est libre peut-être mais on ne l'était pas. Je préfère le libre instantané smile

Le support de Mac OS X par MultiSystem pour ceux qui ont un vrai Mac, c'est d'abord plus envisageable que le...reste. Je propose de commencer par là. Il faudrait faire un bi-partitionnement Fat32, HFS+. Et puis... Au lieu de faire une entrée Grub2 dans MultiSystem qu'est pas sûre de marcher, il faut dropper dans MultiSystem l'outil iBoot (pour Snow Leopard) ou encore rBoot tout court et sa version LE (Laptop Edition pour PCs portables) de tonymacx86 qui redirigera vers la deuxième partition du disque dur amovible. Et ça booterait tranquillement sans modif' à l'aide de Plop Boot Manager. Pour mettre Mac OS X sur la deuxième partition au format HFS+, soit on teste avec ImageWriter ou de façon plus efficace avec l'utilitaire de disque Mac. En gros, je teste, je teste, et je teste et j'ai pas fini de tester. smile Je crois bien que la table de partitions peut être Msdos voire GUID (à voir aussi avec le best soft de partitionnement GParted).

Mon problème: J'utilise une longue période de Multisystème et tout a fonctionné, j'ai créé plusieurs liveusb, grâce à vous.
J'ai dû réinstaller mon ubuntu 9.10. Maintenant quand je lance Multisystem, dit toujours à moi: «Erreur: Pas de sélection». Clé usb est monté sous / media, mais multisystème le voir. Pouvez-vous s'il vous plaît conseiller sur ce que je fais mal? Merci!

but I can not test this version is no longer maintained by canonical

Je souhaite mettre Hirens.BootCD.15.0 sur ma clé. Après copie de l'ISO, j'ai une erreur de boot : file not found HBCD/boot.gz ... et effectivement, ce fichier n'est pas dans le dossier HBCD ...
J'ai vérifié le MD5 de l'iso qui est pourtant OK !
étrange .. !? Il manque les fichiers directement depuis l'ISO ??!

Ok merci je me disais bien que l'unique alternative était Plop Boot Manager... Mais on est bien d'accord que cette solution pour les Mac Intel ne marche que par CD/DVD...? Et non pas par intégration de Plop Boot Manager sur une clé USB ou directement sur le disque dur Macintosh HD comme le fait rEFIt ?

Ben je n'ai pas de MacIntel sous la main pour tester,
mais je pense que soit en modifiant le menu de boot d'un mac,
soit via refit ca doit aussi être possible de booter plop sans passer par un cdrom.
sous linux l'entrée à ajouter à grub2 pour booter plop est:
menuentry "PLoP Boot Manager" {
linux16 /boot/img/plpbt
}

tu copie le fichier de ta clé USB: /media/MULTISYSTEM/boot/img/plpbt
et faut trouver le moyen de booter dessus avec refit, ca doit pas être sorcier,
mais je n'ai rien pour tester ...

Bon pour Hiren ils ont reconstruit totalement la structure sur la version 15.0
et ils ont enfin mis des liens entiers qui pointent bien vers les fichiers
du coup ca devrait être plus facile que avant de chainer direct sur leur fichier de conf
ajoute cette entrée à ton fichier: /media/MULTISYSTEM/boot/grub/menu.lst

title Hiren's 15.0 BootCD
lock
find --set-root /HBCD/menu.lst
configfile /HBCD/menu.lst

met à jour Grub et teste ...
je fait de mon coté des test pour voir si tout fonctionne bien en mode usb,
et je met à jour son support, n'hesite pas a faire un retour si tu trouve un truc qui ne fonctionne pas ...

Bonjour frafa,
J'utilise Multisystem depuis quelque temps et ça marche très bien sauf pour la 11.10 (et d'après ce que j'ai vu pareil pour la 10.10 et la 11.04)
Car je fais partie des malchanceux qui se retrouvent avec un écran noir (carte nvidia GeForce 8600GT).
Pour corriger cela il faut cocher l'option "nomodeset" au démarrage.
Oui mais encore faut-il pouvoir accéder à l'écran d'ubuntu qui le permet (avec l'icone du clavier).
Or ton soft ne le permet pas puisque c'est le splash de multisystem qui est affiché.
J'ai donc refait une clé avec usbcreator inclus dans la distrib et la même iso. Et bien sûr là ça marche.
Je ne sais pas ce qu'il faut modifier ni ou (dans /media/ma_clef/boot/grub ? Après je sèche).
Merci de me donner au moins une piste.
Ce serait dommage de se priver d'un logiciel si pratique (quelques distrib, clonezilla, gparted,... sur la meme clé c'est génial).
Edit: Je précise que par ailleurs cette clé permet sans problème de monter le live de la 11.10 sur la tour de mon épouse (qui elle a un chipset nvidia GeForce 7025 intégré).
C'est vraiment un pb avec certaines cartes graphiques voir même peut-être certaines révisions ou versions de firmware.

il te suffit d'ajouter l'option de démarrage "nomodeset"
depuis multisystem a ta distribution, c'est géré graphiquement par multisystem dans le gui principal
voir nomodeset.gif animé ci-dessous...

Le rouge me monte au front de n'avoir pas vu cette fonctionnalité pourtant si bien implantée.
Probablement la (mauvaise) habitude d'un vieux linuxien de lancer le terminal avant de regarder un peu mieux un gui
pourtant très fonctionnel.
