you can change channel into mplayer with the remote controller.

sa m'a permi de resoudre un bon nombre de probleme

la TNT fonctionne avec Kaffeine
mais je n'ai pas de son avec KDETV et quand je regarde mon dmesg je vois une anomalie

avant le "make" dans le repertoire v4l-dvb essaie ça d'abord :

make distclean
make
make install

et n'oublie pas de redémarrer ...

Bonsoir j'ai tout recommencer avec en plus l'installation du driver Ati
la TNT marche super bien maintenant
en analogique  kdetv => ecran noir et redemarre le PC (par moment juste apres l'ecran noir j'ai des parasites a l'affichage comme sur une vrai TV quand elle cherche les chaines)
  et Tv time  image ok  mais pas de son

en enlevant le driver proprietaire ati et le remplacer par le driver radeon
kdetv , xawtv fonctionne (enfin sa ne plante plus au demarrage) => logiciels incompatible avec les drivers ati ???

pour lancer kdetv je suis obligé de passer par le terminal (raccourci non present dans "application") d'ou sa peut venir ce probleme

xawtv: comment on fait pour scanner les chaines? je n'arrive pas a lui faire prendre secam france et ect...  est ce qu'il existe une touche "scan"???

Tvtime: je n'ai que 4 chaines

pour les 3 logiciels: je n'arrive pas a avoir le son...

en TNT avec kaffeine tout fonctionne hormis la qualité de l'affichage
ce probleme je l'avais resolu avec le driver ati proprietaire
je voudrais savoir si c'est possible un conflit driver ati proprietaire avec la carte tuner TV en analogique ou les logiciels kdetv et xawtv (tvtime ne plantait pas)

Après moults essais, j'y suis enfin arrivé. Le câble interne était branché sur l'entrée audio et pas sur la sortie au niveau de la carte tuner. Merci quand même.

J'en ai trouvé un sur un autre site, mais la carte ne fonctionne pas (tuning failed quand je fais un scan)

A priori tout fonctionne ....

Tu peux préciser en quoi cela ne fonctionne pas , quel soft tu utilises etc ....

Au passage ici, il s'agit du frontend 2

Vérifie que c'est ce paramètre que tu utulises lors de tes essais ...

Pour le firmware, c bon j'ai testé avec un téléchargé depuis le Geexbox Generator et ça change rien sad

Bien sur si je teste avec l'un des 2 autres tuners ça marche sans soucis ....

Si je démarre le service mythbackend depuis un tty voici le message que j'ai :

tda1004x: setting up plls for 48Mha sampling clock

rajoute +166 khz dans le fichier des fréquences:

copie /usr/share/doc/dvb-utils/examples/scan/dvb-t/fr-Bordeaux dans ton rep personnel et modifie le en le nommant fr-bordeaux2 comme ceci ;

48200000 devient 482166000

et ainsi de suite pour toutes fes fréquences.
réessie de scanner avec ce nouveau fichier

scan fr-bordeaux2

et poste les résultats smile

C'est un problème connu (pour les fréquences françaises ...)
Pour mythtv, désolé je n'y connais rien.

J'ai acheté une Hauppauge 1110. J'ai suivi la procédure d'installation de la première page. La carte est reconnue sous kaffeine. Le scan des chaînes TNT ne donne rien (enfin sous xp aussi).
MAIS, mon problème est de pouvoir utiliser cette carte avec l'entrée composite ou S-video.
Pour résumer, j'ai un abonnement canal+ et un décodeur et j'aimerais pouvoir visualiser la sortie du décodeur sur mon Ubuntu. Pour cela, j'aimerais utiliser l'entrée composite.
J'ai essayé Xawtv mais écran noir + reboot machine. VLC n'arrive pas à lire : /dev/video1. Sur un forum, j'ai trouvé une ligne de commande pour ouvrir avec mplayer mais j'ai un écran noir.
=> Je voudrais trouver une solution a mon problème en utilisant cette carte si possible.
J'attends vos suggestions avec impatience !!!

1) tu es sous quelle distribution ? feisty , edgy, dapper ?

sous feisty, il est inutile de recompiler les drivers v4l; la carte étant directement reconnue dans le noyau 2.6.20-15


2)

Le scan des chaînes TNT ne donne rien (enfin sous xp aussi).

xp n'est pas une référence ...
As tu copié le firmware de la carte (tda10046) dans /lib/firmware ?
As tu ensuite chargé le module saa7134-dvb ?

3) pour l'acquisition sur le peripherique svideo ou composite essaie, ça :

mplayer  tv:// -tv driver=v4l2:device=/dev/video0:input=1

ou bien

mplayer  tv:// -tv driver=v4l2:device=/dev/video0:input=2

En supposant que ta carte est sur le periphérique video0 sinon change video0 en video1

Je précise que tu n'auras pas de son ....
il faut brancher le son sur ta carte son est non sur le périphérique input de la carte hvr1110 (marqué comme FIXME dans les sources, pas de capture sonore, j'ai pas trouvé ...)

Je suis pris d'un gros doute là ...

tu as quelle carte et quels sont les paramètres que tu as passé au noyau ?

Dans tous les cas

1) sous feisty, il est INUTILE de recompiler les drivers
2) Ta carte que ce soit hvr1110 ou bien pctv310i est automatiquement détectée
3) ton dernier problème vient de ce qu'il y a plus haut ...

Merci beaucoup pour ta réponse !!!
Finalement, j'ai réinstallé proprement feisty en rajoutant uniquement le firmware dvb-fe-tda10046.fw dans /lib/firmware et chargé saa7134-dvb dans /etc/modules => En lancant ta commande mplayer, j'obtenais l'image en noir et blanc.
Enfin, j'ai trouvé la ligne de commande suivante :

mplayer tv:// -tv driver=v4l2:device=/dev/video0:norm=secam:input=1:width=720:height=578 -vo x11 -vop pp=lb

big_smile:D:D Nickel : image en couleur. Pour le son, j'utilise ma chaine hifi.
