Bonjour, (ce coup ci)
J'ai moi aussi Le "fameux"

Packard bell easynote TE69KB "series"
AMD dual 1.40Ghz E1-2500
AMD Radeon HD 8240
4 Gb DDR3
320 GB HDD

j'ai bon espoir que depuis le dernier post datant de 2014 une solution aie été trouvé depuis.
Quelqu’un aurait il une OS a me proposer afin de rejoindre les rangs de Linux et déserter les rangs Windows (8.1)
Inutile de préciser que ce sera une grande première alors soyez sympas avec moi.

@casp3r27200 : je te prie réaliser une LiveUSB Ubuntu 14.04.1 64 bits suivant cette recette : https://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?pid=16713311
Tu n'arriveras pas en principe à démarrer ton ordi sur cette LiveUSB parce que le démarrage est verrouillé sur Windows. Il sera nécessaire que tu crées un mot de passe superviseur dans le Bios puis que tu autorises l'utilisation de la touche F12 au démarrage (c'est un des paramètres du Bios). De base, si tu presses cette touche F12 au démarrage, il ne se passe rien mais quand tu auras fait cette activation de la touche F12, tu devrais pouvoir t'en servir pour accéder au Boot Menu au démarrage et sélectionner ta LiveUSB et démarrer dessus.
Tout ce que je viens d'expliquer, tu devrais pouvoir le faire sans désactiver "Secure Boot" (un des paramètres du Bios) mais je ne suis pas sûr de ça : j'ai cru comprendre que certains avaient dû désactiver "Secure Boot" sinon il était impossible d'autoriser l'utilisation de la touche F12. Tout ça n'est pas limpide mais c'est dur pour moi d'avoir des certitudes sur le mode opératoire parce qu'entre la mémoire qui flanche de ceux qui décrivent leur manip (qu'ils viennent pourtant juste de réaliser...), les problèmes de Hard, les LiveUSB qui ne fonctionnent pas, les firmware UEFI buggés, etc...je suis noyé - comme les autres aidants du forum - dans un bruit d'information qui n'aide pas à établir une procédure en béton.

OK alors je vais t'indiquer ce post qui concerne le modèle packard bell easynote TE69CX donc ce n'est pas exactement ton modèle mais je pense que ce qui est indiqué doit pouvoir s'appliquer à ton cas : https://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.p … #p19591341
C'est cette partie du post :

pour rentrer dans le bios c'est la touche F2, pour changer le boot c'est le F12 mais elle est désactivée sur le bios avec le secure boot, donc sans effet.
Pour enlever le  secure boot, faut aller mettre un mot de passe dans le secure boot, et là on peut désactiver le secure boot. Si tu veux plus de détails je te fais un topo le plus détaillé possible.

Si on suit ce qui est mentionné là, il semblerait qu'il faut désactiver "Secure Boot" et pour cela, il faudrait mettre un mot de passe (j'ai noté dans mon post #2 qu'il fallait créer un "mot de passe superviseur" mais je ne suis pas certain que ce soit désigné comme ça mais en tout cas, il faut que tu crées un mot de passe dans le Bios sinon tu ne peux pas désactiver "Secure Boot" et tu ne peux pas activer l'utilisation de la touche F12

Il y est dit qu'il faut créer un mot de passe dans le "Bios" afin de pouvoir désactiver "Secure Boot"

Alors j'ai
Télécharger et installer Lili usb creator => ok
Télécharger ubuntu 14.04.1 64bit => ok (direct avec ton lien très pratique mais 3h en hotspot 110k/s....pfff)

Je machine tout le bazar selon mode d'emploi il y a un espace occupé sur la clé mais
En allant voir dessus (juste par curiosité) je vois que dale dessus "dossier vide" en gris.
Es ce normal je m'attendais a voir "des trucs" (=>ok, décocher toutes les options)

même si je sais qu'il faut faire tout le bazar bios pour démarrer dessus (=>voir post ci-dessous)

Et aussi si je bidouille le bios (dans la limite des indications bien-sure) et que je n'arrive pas a démarrer sur la clé mon Windows lui aura pas bouger je pourrais redémarrer dessus quand même.

Ensuite il vous sera possible de booter sur un CD ou un DVD bootable, Malheureusement il ne vous sera plus possible de garder l'installation originale de Windows 8, qui entre nous est un bien fait tant cet OS est pourri. J'en pense rien. Cette andouille ne donne aucune explication et nous balance une vidéo dans une langue que je ne comprends pas.
Si tu flippes, je peux comprendre ça. Reviens nous voir quand tu seras dans une situation plus favorable.

Point d'évolution sans risques et la prudence n'a que rarement surpassé la curiosité chez moi

OK bon alors en pratique pour ce modèle:

accès bios avec le F2 (sans le bouton fn)
=> Accès bios/onglets "main" y a une option "F12 boot ..." en "disabled" on la met en "enabled"
=> F10 (save & exit)
=> Ça redémarre,
=> Donc on presse le F12 (toujours sans "fn")

Et "alelouya, alelouya ......"

On tombe sur le fameux menu select drive/Ubuntu test etc....
Et tout va bien au redémarrage si on touche a rien ça redémarre comme d’habitude.

Mais :

OS en anglais (passe encore mais confort pas top)
En clavier qwerty (ça par contre c'est vraiment chiant pour le coup) (=>"setxkbmap fr" dans "terminal")
Pas moyens de gratter la page de connexion hot spot, pas de problème niveau carte wifi =>gérer, réseau détecté et connecté mais pas moyen d'avoir le log orange ou free ....... (=>Être patient ...maintenant ça le fait, va savoir)
Es-ce-que c'est du a la version test live ou autre chose de particulier ?

En live USB je n'ai pas eu de problème particulier niveau lenteur, graphique ou périphérique sur :

- Ubuntu 14.04.1 64b,
- Ubuntu 14.04.3 64b
- Xubuntu 14.04.3 LTS 64b (pas mal pour les Windowsiens se rapproche d'un xp)

Le principe c'est que je peut tester un peu tout ceux que je veut en live USB ?
Xubuntu, Lubuntu, Linux mint (linuxmint-17.3-cinnamon-32bit non détecter) ou un peu n'importe quoi ^^ je test et je vois non ^^ ?

ou je peut les trouver en direct comme le lien que tu m'as filer plus haut mais en liste genre ?
c'est bon je suis chaud pour les test ^^ prochaine étape l'installation et DÉGAGER Windows 8.1

Pour passer en azerty :
dans un terminal, taper au clavier :

setxkb,qp fr

en sorte de lire à l'écran :

setxkbmap fr

l'agencement des claviers est stocké dans le fichier /etc/default/keyboard. Et une ligne comme :

cela dit je suis en ce moment même sur mon ubuntu en live USB, sur le net en hotspot, la commande pour le clavier fr était "setxkbmap fr" tout a l'air de pas mal fonctionner je vais essayer d'en faire une avec mode persistant pour ne pas avoir l'OS en anglais et ne pas avoir a retaper ma config clavier a chaque fois ;p .... a suivre

je crois qu'en fait je vais devoir l'installer pour pouvoir l'avoir en français car sur live usb même persistant je n'arrive définitivement pas a avoir mon systeme en français même en allant dans "system settings"
- Je vais dans télécharger langue fr.....
- Il télécharge son truc......
- Passage terminal, il mouline....
- Ensuite il me dit que les changements seront appliqués au prochain log (ou plutôt un truc en anglais s'en approchant j'imagine).
- Je redemarre et ......... c'est pas français et je dois retaper la commande pour avoir mon azerty. (le bon coté c'est que maintenant, j'en connais au moins une par coeur ;p )

Après pas moyen d'utiliser thunderbird quand je tape mon mail il me dit "double-check this e-mail adress" ???

Alors j'ai un "vieux" DD USB Western digital 1Tb que j'ai formaté en "ex-Fat" (il me proposait que ça. ou NTFS=>pas bon).
Je peut l'installer dessus sans problème, sans toucher a mon "c:" et je le démarrerais avec F12.
De cette manière aurais-je enfin mon OS en français et mon azerty de manière permanente ?

Pour qu'on puisse vérifier que ça devrait bien se passer, je te prie de faire un Boot-Info depuis une session live de Ubuntu 14.04.3 64bits (je t'avais proposé la version précédente 14.04.1 mais puisque tu as constaté que la version 14.04.3 tournait bien en session live dans ton ordi, je pense que c'est mieux de la retenir). Tu donneras l'URL de ce Boot-Info dans ta réponse.

EDIT : si tu as l'intention d'installer Xubuntu 14.04.3 64 bits plutôt que Ubuntu 14.04.3 64 bits, fais le Boot-Info depuis une session de Xubuntu 14.04.3 64 bits.

Tout est parfait en vue de l'installation dans ton ""vieux" DD USB Western digital 1Tb". Je te recommande une seule chose : ne pas utiliser les choix d'installation automatiques qui sont proposés lors de l'installation : il faut choisir "Autre chose" à l'étape Type d'installation et faire l'installation en "manuel" à l'aide de la doc
Tu n'auras pas à créer de partition EFI : la partition EFI (sda2) qui se trouve sur ton disque dur "Windows" sera utilisée automatiquement par l'installateur pour y installer ce qui est nécessaire au démarrage.
Tu n'as pas à sélectionner quoi que ce soit dans le champ "Périphérique où sera installé le programme de démarrage" (en bas de la fenêtre) parce que ce que tu sélectionnerais ne sera pas utilisé (ce champ n'est pas "lu" par l'installateur dans le cas d'une installation en mode EFI). En somme, tu t'occupes juste de créer une partition racine et une partition swap (et éventuellement une partition /home mais c'est facultatif).
A noter pour le type de table de partitionnement de ton "vieux" DD USB Western digital : il peut être indifféremment du type MSDOS ou du type GPT. Cela n'intervient pas dans le mode de démarrage parce que l'ordi démarre sur la partition EFI qui se trouve sur le disque Windows. Et le chargeur d'amorçage de Grub qui se trouvera sur cette partition EFI se débrouillera quelque soit le type.

Non, tu ne les "appelles" pas. Au lieu d'écrire des conneries, lis la doc que je t'ai indiquée, cherche à comprendre et pose ensuite tes questions.

Quand tu auras fait l'installation de Ubuntu, il est très probable que le redémarrage par défaut de l'ordi se fasse sur Windows. Il faudra que tu presses la touche F12 au démarrage pour pouvoir sélectionner ubuntu et faire apparaître le menu Grub.

Tant mieux démarrage F12 me vas très bien

CA MARCHE PAS GRRRR

Je suis sur ma live USB je clique sur l'installation
je fais autre, le partitionnement (ça c'est compris)
les options suivantes et tout ...... ça demarre
il télécharge les fichiers=>ok
télécharge paquets langue =>ok
les installe => ok
télécharge autres paquets => ok
install => et a 66-75% de la barre bleu à "instal grub"
sa plante fenêtre grise

le paquet grub-efi-amd64-signed n'a pas pu être installer dans /target/. en l'absence du programme de démarrage grub......ça marcheras pas

donc es-ce que c'est du à ma connexion internet (hotspot à la con qui réinitialise sans cesse) et dans ce cas j'attendrais de pouvoir me brancher en Ethernet et je suis marron.

ou c'est tout autre chose de technique encore

................j'y croyais cette fois, c'était bien parti .................

C'est rageant. Il s'agit de l'opération de création du chargeur d'amorçage de Grub dans la partition EFI (sda2) qui ne peut pas se faire. Je ne pense pas que ce soit à cause de ta liaison internet chaotique. Pour que je puisse investiguer un peu, je te prie de laisser ton DD WD 1tb branché cette fois-ci, et faire un Boot-Info depuis une session live et en donner l'URL dans ta réponse.

COMMENT JE LUI AI NIQUER SA GUEULE AAAAAH

c'était a cause de la conexion internet on dirais car j'ai lancer l'installation sans conexion

option 1 : desinstaller et reinstaller unbuntu 14.4.03 LTS
apres au passage télécharger les mise a jour etc ... il a pas déceler de conexion alors il m'a installer sans et ça a marcher nikel et 3 fois plus vite qu'au premier coup, en français et avec la bonne config clavier ;p
démarrage en F12 comme prévu tout va bien suis content
me voila converti au Linuxisme ;p
Reste a apprendre a maitriser cet OS et accessoirement quelque maj au compte goutte me prendre vlc etc ... des conneries quoi
Merci a toi pour l'aide même si j'ai put etre un peu gonflant pour un pros ;p

Moi ça m'intéresse énormément d'avoir un Boot-Info réalisé depuis une session de ton Ubuntu installé mais il faut que la connexion internet soit établie sinon tu ne peux pas obtenir l'URL (c'est cette doc qu'il faut suivre)

N'oubliez pas de régler votre BIOS pour qu'il amorce sur le disque sdb (1000GB) !

Les fichiers de démarrage de [Linux] sont loin du début du disque. Votre BIOS pourrait ne pas les détecter. Vous voudrez peut-être re-essayer après avoir créé une partition /boot (EXT4, >200MB, en début de disque). Cela peut être réalisé via des outils tels que gParted. Puis sélectionnez cette partition via l'option [Partition /boot séparée :] de [Boot-Repair]. (http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/tutoriel/partition_boot)

Si votre ordinateur redémarre directement sur Windows, essayez de changer l'ordre de démarrage dans votre BIOS.
Si votre BIOS ne permet pas de changer l'ordre de démarrage, changez l'entrée de démarrage par défaut de l'amorceur Windows.
Par exemple, vous pouvez démarrer Windows, puis saisir la commande suivante dans une invite de commande en mode administrateur :
