[Résolu] Le CD d'installation ne boot pas - MSI CX62 6QD-248XFR
Bonjour,
Je viens d'acheter un MSI CX62 6QD-248XFR avec FreeDOS. Je veux essayer d'installer Ubuntu 16.04 LTS à l'aide d'un DVD mais cela ne fonctionne pas...
J'ai bien réglé le BIOS afin qu'il boot sur le lecteur CD/DVD mais rien ne se passe. J'ai également vérifier l'intégrité du fichier ISO (téléchargé sur ce site) à l'aide de QuickHash et tout est OK.
Quelqu'un peut-il m'aider svp?

As-tu fait ce qui est détaillé par obibann pour la partie "Configuration du BIOS" dans son Tuto : https://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=1976971
As-tu passé l'option "nouveau.blacklist=1 acpi=off" recommandée également dans le Tuto pour démarrer sur ton LiveDVD ? Sinon, tu trouveras dans cette doc des indications sur le sujet : 6.1 Modifier les paramètres du noyau pour une session-live

Installation faite ce w-e en suivant le Tuto d'Obibann, ça fonctionne! Je n'ai pas encore eu le temps de tout tester mais pas de soucis pour l'instant.

Les caractéristiques essentielles sont : processeur Intel Core i5-6300HQ et chipset graphique NVIDIA GeForce 940M
Si tu veux bien faire un Boot-Info depuis une session de ton Ubuntu fraîchement installé et donner l'URL de ce Boot-Info dans ta réponse, ça montrerait un exemple d'installation réussie dans ce modèle.

Malbo,
Le PC était livré avec FreeDOS et j'ai effectivement décidé de l'effacer. Concernant le LVM, honnêtement je n’ai pas le souvenir d’avoir coché quelque chose à ce propos… Je suis novice sur Ubuntu et jusqu’à aujourd’hui et la lecture de ton post, je ne savais pas ce qu’était LVM… Je n’ai pas pour habitude de cocher/décocher des cases si je ne connais pas ce qu’il y a derrière… Est-ce qu’il est possible que cette case soit pré-cochée par défaut ?
Suite à ta remarque, j’ai fait quelques recherches sur le forum et je comprends effectivement que LVM n’est pas très recommandé… Y a-t-il moyen d’intervenir a posteriori ? Surtout que j’avais dans l’idée de repartitionner mon disque plus tard, avec Gparted par exemple.

Ce n'est pas possible de modifier l'install actuelle : il faut réinstaller un Ubuntu tout neuf à la place. Si tu le fais, ce serait utile de supprimer toutes les partitions actuelles avec Gparted lancé depuis une session live de Ubuntu et de créer un nouveau partitionnement - toujours avec Gparted - comme ceci (voir nota):
- une partition primaire au format EXT4 de 30 Go pour la partition racine de Ubuntu
- une partition étendue qui occupe tout le reste du disque (970 Go) et dans cette partition étendue, créer les partitions logiques suivantes :
* une partition logique de 5 Go pour la swap
* une partition logique au format EXT4 de tout le reste (environ 965 Go) pour la partition /home
Ensuite, tu lances l'installation, tu sélectionnes "Autre chose" à l'étape "Type d'installation" et tu t'appuies sur la doc "Installation d'Ubuntu : partitionnement manuel" pour la suite.
Dans le champ "Périphérique où sera installé le programme de démarrage" (en bas de la fenêtre de l'installateur), tu sélectionneras "/dev/sda" (ce choix entraînera l'installation du chargeur d'amorçage de Grub dans le MBR du disque dur sda)
nota : Le partitionnement manuel que je te propose te permettra d'installer une autre distribution - ou même plusieurs - en plus de Ubuntu si tu en as envie dans l'avenir. Alors que l'installateur automatique donne un partitionnement crétin, pas du tout évolutif.

Il ne faut pas faire une migration : il faut faire une installation TOUTE NEUVE de Ubuntu 16.04 en suivant mes conseils du post #9.

Désolé, je pose plein de questions mais étant vraiment novice je veux être sûr de bien comprendre et surtout bien faire.
Lorsque tu dis:
Je comprends que je lance ma session LiveUSB (par exemple la 15.10 que j'ai utilisée pour ma 1ère installation) et de là j'installe GParted via un PPA puis je lance GParted pour repartitionner le disque, exact? Car j'ai vu au §3 de la page suivante : https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/gparted#gpart … b_autonome qu'il était également possible de faire une sorte de Live GParted pour travailler sur les partitions de son disque.

Déjà, je te prie de laisser tomber ta LiveUSB Ubuntu 15.10 et de réaliser une LiveUSB Ubuntu 16.04 64 bits. Puis de de vérifier en session live sur cette LiveUSB 16.04 que tout est OK. Si oui, je te prie de faire un Boot-Info depuis cette session Live et de donner l'URL de ce Boot-Info dans ta réponse.

Dans ton dernier Boot-Info, je vois les choses qui m'intéressent :
boot-info is executed in live-session (Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, xenial, Ubuntu, x86_64)
et aussi :

This live-session is not in EFI-mode.
La session live est bien démarée en mode Legacy (mode Bios classique)
Depuis la session live, tu peux lancer l'éditeur de partitions Gparted et réaliser le partitionnement que j'ai proposé dans le post #9 puis tu peux fermer Gparted et lancer l'installation en suivant ce que j'ai indiqué dans le post #9

J'ai voulu commencer le partitionnement de mon disque mais j'ai un soucis... Voici la fenêtre GParted que j'obtiens:
Je n'arrive pas a redimensionner la 1er partition de 243M, la taille max autorisée est de 243M...
De la même manière, je ne peux rien faire sur la partition étendue.
Une suggestion? Merci.

On voit une petite clé juste à côté de /dev/sda2 et /dev/sda5 sur ta première vue : c'est dû à l'utilisation par la session live de la partition swap qui se trouve sur le disque dur. La solution à ce problème est donnée dans ce fil : https://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=1911021
En bref : tu démarres une session live puis tu passes la commande suivante dans un terminal :
sudo swapoff
Et seulement après ça, tu lances Gparted : tu ne dois plus voir les petites clés...

J'ai raconté une connerie dans le post #18. J'ai fait la manip en virtualisation (dans une machine VMware Player) et je te donne la procédure en images :
A noter que pour obtenir le partitionnement initial qu'on peut voir sur la première vue ci-dessous, j'ai fait une installation de Ubuntu 16.04 en cochant "Effacer le disque et installer Ubuntu" et "Utiliser LVM pour la nouvelle installation de Ubuntu" à l'étape "Type d'installation"
Clic droit sur la ligne /dev/sda5 et sélection de "Désactiver" dans le menu déroulant :
Clic droit sur /dev/sda5 et sélection de "Supprimer". Ensuite, tu parviens à supprimer toutes les partitions :
Il faut valider toutes les opérations pour qu'elles soient réellement effectuées. Cela se fait en cliquant sur la coche verte dans la barre du haut :
Toutes les partitions ayant été virées, tu peux créer le nouveau partitionnement selon mes suggestions du post #9

Effectivement, en passant par la commande Désactiver, les clés disparaissent, merci!
Je vais continuer les autres manip' de ton post 20; par contre, une fois que j'aurais supprimé toutes les partitions, je peux créer les nouvelles directement depuis l'installation de Ubuntu en suivant le tuto "Installation d'Ubuntu : partitionnement manuel" non? Ou j'ai encore besoin de GParted depuis la session Live?

Il serait possible de créer les partitions pendant l'installation mais je crains que tu sois bloqué assez rapidement par manque d'expérience. C'est pourquoi je maintiens ma suggestion du post #9 de créer les partitions avec Gparted avant l’installation proprement dite.
