Bein, après c'est étrange car ce même jour une autre personne a testé le build du jour, et il n'a pas eu de problème pour l'installer. Tu peux vérifier ça dans le bug tracker ici

Tu as commencé en faisant une installation depuis un iso, ou tu as simplement changé le source.list et fait les upgrades nécessaires ?

Pire, j'avais installe la 16.04 en novembre 2015 et en avril j'ai passe un bon gros :

sudo sed -i 's/xenial/devel/g' /etc/apt/sources.list
sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade

(de mémoire, pendant dix jours j'ai du passer le devel en yaketty sur partners, puis retour devel)

Cela dit, c'est une Xubuntu et depuis 4 ans au moins je tourne en version de développement avec juste une clean install et deux ou trois blips, pas plus.
C'est résistant ce machin la !

Bof, j'ai quand même l'impression qu'il s'agissait d'un problème par rapport à ma machine, car ensuite, j'ai essayé de réinstaller Xubuntu 16.04.1 (pour revenir sur quelque chose de 'stable'), et j'ai eu le même genre de problème...

Oui, donc c'est bien ce que j'ai dit, tu as modifié le fichier sources.list, et fait les upgrades nécessaires...
Merci en tout cas pour la commande, peut-être que je devrais faire ça au lieu de faire une clean install.

Pour les fous furieux de la nouvelle version, je rappel qu'il y a plus simple, c'est de se mettre en Rolling-release, c'est à dire de mettre non pas le nom de la version dans votre sources.list, mais en lieu et place un "devel". Dès lors vous êtes par défaut en version de développement en permanence, et jamais besoin de toucher à quelque chose en termes de monté de version

Par contre (petits) risques d'instabilité, et beaucoup plus de mises à jour. Comme sur toutes version de dev, quoi.

Je ne sais trop que faire si ce n'est attendre. Heureusement que je ne suis en vacances, mon ordinateur est inutilisable pour le coup

Ah, un incident !
119 mises a jour aujourd'hui dont un kernel avec un drôle de numéro : 4.4.0-9134
...au redémarrage, je vois l'écran xub puis plus rien.
Tout essayé : autre kernel, upstart, recovery, startx.. Pour le moment c'est bouché comme un canon de marine.
Les devs n'auraient ils pas balancé des fichiers proposed ?
Je ne vois pas ce qui coince et encore moins comment faire un rapport.

...j'attends un peu, histoire de voir si une maj correctrice ne sort pas (le terminal fonctionne)

J'utilisais Xubuntu, mais comme l'installer Ubiquity est le même pour Ubuntu et Xubuntu, le problème est le même. L'erreur se passait au moment du slideshow, pour moi aussi. Et mon disque dur a été effacé car j'avais choisi un partitionnement manuel, et j'avais demandé le formatage des anciennes partitions.

Le bug semblerait être identifié un peu plus précisément. Il s'agit d'un problème lorsqu'on a un clavier non azerty. Cela se confirme avec des claviers français et espagnols. Voir le rapport de bug suivant : https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour … ug/1611010

Effectivement, j'ai un clavier QWERTY. J'avais aussi partitionné en manuel avec formatage de certaines partition, les seules touchées puisque ces opérations sont faite avant l'installation.
Du coup je suis passé par une xenial ugrade en devel qui a tout cassé, en changy à yakkety, tout semble mieux... Étrange.

Je ne suis pas que ça corresponde au bug que j'ai expérimenté Oni_Shadow....

Par contre, le bug serait apparemment fixé et livré selon le rapport de bug. La mise à jour d'Ubiquity n'est pas dans le daily-build du 24 Août, mais ça y sera sans doute dans l'image du 25 !
