[RESOLU]Acer ASPIRE E5 : impossible réduire vol Win à moins de 122Go?

Bonjour

J'ai acheté ce PC http://www.fnac.com/PC-Portable-Acer-As … 004411/w-4

Je veux installer ubuntu 16.04 en dual boot sur le SSD de 256Go (pas de HDD). Je veux donc laisser un minimum de place pour Win dont  je me sers très peu (genre 30 ou 40 Go).
Mais je n'arrive pas à diminuer la taille du volume C; en dessous de 122 Go. Pourtant j'ai désinstallé les programmes qui ne servent à rien (pour environ 500 Mo) et je vois sur les propriétés du disque que j'ai 34 Go utilisés et 203Go de libre. Je devrais donc pourvoir diminuer la taille de C: jusqu'à au moins 40 Go.
Sur le PC de ma fille (un HP avec HDD) je n'ai pas eu ce genre de problème et j'ai pu diminuer la taille de la partition Windows comme je voulais.
Avez-vous une idée ?

Suis les conseils de ikewdu : http://ikewdu.free.fr/optimiser-espace- … n-windows/ (en général, la "Première opération" et la "Seconde opération" du tuto sont nécessaires et suffisantes. Tu peux t'arrêter à ça et ne pas faire la partie "Opérations subsidiaires") 
Je suis un peu étonné de ce que tu racontes sur le PC de ta fille parce que ça existe au moins depuis Windows 8 Windows 7 ce problème que cet enfoiré refuse de réduire la taille de C:

Je vais essayer çà et je te tiens au courant. ....
Pour le PC de ma fille j'avais choisi de laisser 60 Go pour Win, car elle avait plus de place avec son HDD de 500 Go, et çà s'est fait sans Pb.

Le seul outil qui m'as permis de vraiment réduire ( meme après plusieurs coup de Mydefrag) une partition windows et donc de deplacer la MFT, c'est Easus.

bon comme d'hab, rien n'est simple !
Je n'ai qu'une seule partition sur mon disque (je voulais mettre l'image de ce que me donne le gestionniare de disque mais je ne sais plus comment faire sur ce forum ! )
donc je ne peux pas faire la deuxieme manip qui consiste à déplacer le swap sur une autre partition. A moins que je n'en crée une le temps de la manip ?

merci pour ton idée, je l'essaierai peu-etre si la msolution propsée par malbo ne marche pas.

A tous les 2:  çà peut servir une defrag sur un SSD ? sachant que je n'ai quasiment rien fait dessus si ce n'est virer les logiciels ACER et "les précédentes installation de Windows"

Ok voici le minimum que tu dois faire.

je précise que ces étapes sont imposé par Windows , linux n'y est pour rien!

- Installe Mydefrag http://www.majorgeeks.com/mg/getmirror/mydefrag,1.html

- Utilise l'action " liberate Free space" ( ou un truc du genre )

- Obsserve qu'il n'y a que de l'espace libre noir à la fin ( en haut ) du disk

- ensuite dans windows, vois tu arrive a réduire beaucoup plus.

Pour la "Seconde opération" du tuto, moi je te conseille de carrément supprimer pagefile.sys (tu as 8 Go de RAM). Je te propose ce tuto : http://mywindowshub.com/delete-pagefile-in-windows-8/ (il a été écrit pour Win8 mais je suppose qu'il est adaptable sur Win10). Étant entendu qu'après installation de Ubuntu, tu pourras remettre en œuvre ce fichier pagefile.sys si tu veux.

J'ai suivi le tuto et effectivement la taille du fichier d'échange est passé à 0 après redemarrage
Par contre le gestionnaire de disque ne m'autorise toujours pas à réduire davantage la taille de Win.
Un simple defrag à faire peut-etre ? .... Ou alors tester la solution de freechelmi ?

Dans ce cas, commence par appliquer la partie "2. Désactiver les points de restauration" du tuto de ikewdu (oui, j'avais dit de ne pas le faire mais bon...). Seulement après ça, fais une défragmentation.

Toujours aussi balèse et pas seulement sur Ubuntu !
Bon maintenant, j'ai plus qu'à espérer ne pas avoir de restauration à faire, vu que je n'ai plus de point de restauration. Ou bien est-ce qu'il suffit que je réactive les poiints de restauration une fois que j'ai la partion Win à la taille qui me convient? J'en profiterai pour remettre pagefile.sys
Sinon d'après toi, pour la taille de la partition WIn je laisse seulement 10Go en plus de ce qui est actuellement utilisé (soit une taille de 40Go au total). 90 devrait suffire non ?

Oui 90 est largement suffisant, je dirais 70 si tu n'installes pas de très gros logiciels

en fait j'ai pas été assez précis
actuellement j'ai 20Go d'occupé sur mon disque dur qui en a 237 en tout
Je voulais savoir si en laisser 10 de plus à Win soit une partition de 30Go pour Win  çà suffisait ?
Ou bien il faut que je laisse plus de place sur la partition Win tout en sachant que depuis 6 ou 7 ans que j'ai ubuntu je n'ai que très peu utilisé Win et très peu d'installation de logiciel.

Oui, c'est ce qu'il faut faire. Mais avec 8 Go de RAM, tu n'es pas obligé d'avoir une taille importante pour le fichier pagefile.sys (peut-être que 1 Go c'est suffisant). Et pour les points de restauration, tu dois pouvoir fixer une limite dans Windows pour éviter que cette fonction restauration te bouffe trop de Go.

50 Go est un minimum pour Windows7, meme sans beaucoup d'applications

Bon en fait j'ai laissé 40Go à Win10, c'est déjà bien payé
Ensuite j'ai fait l'install comme d'habitude avec le tuto libre à quimperlé qui est nickel pour moi. Bien sur il y a quand même eu un souci, puisqu'ensuite je démarrai toujours sur Win

C'est bête de ne pas avoir dit immédiatement que tu avais un windows10 pré-installé, Je t'aurais proposé GPARTED pour diminuer la taille de la partition contenant windows10.

Dans certains cas ( MFT etc..) Gparted ne peux pas réduire l'espace libre d'une partition windows. Il faut alors le faire directement a partir de windows

Cela me semble parfait.
Je viens d'ajouter ton modèle Aspire E5-575-385U dans la Liste des portables « Acer ». Pour mémoire, ce modèle (visible ICI) est équipé d'un processeur  Intel Core i3-6157U ; la partie graphique "Intel Iris Graphics 550" est intégrée sur la même puce que le processeur. Il n'y a pas de carte graphique dédiée.

Pour information, mon disque D contient un espace libre de 30 Go, alors que lors de la réduction de volume je n'ai accès a réduire que 41 Mo au maximum.  Quelle solution pourrait être applicable dans mon cas? Et merci d'avance.

- Installe Mydefrag http://www.majorgeeks.com/mg/getmirror/mydefrag,1.html

- Utilise l'action " liberate Free space" ( ou un truc du genre )

- Obsserve qu'il n'y a que de l'espace libre noir à la fin ( en haut ) du disk

- ensuite dans windows, vois si tu arrive a réduire beaucoup plus.

Pour le D:, tu dois pouvoir utiliser gparted.
