N'achetez pas une Imprimante Epson ET-2750 avec scanner !!!

Bonjour les amis du libre !

Je viens d'acheter une imprimante Epson ET-2750 et je le regrette déjà.

D'abord, ça n'a pas été simple pour un débutant comme moi d'installer les pilotes.
Ensuite j'ai bien galéré pour accéder à mon scanner.

Et au final, lorsque je numérise un document, j'obtiens systématiquement un fond bleu ciel au lieu du blanc.
J'ai essayé avec des logiciels différents (simple scan, image scan, gscan2pdf) et c'est pareil.

Est-ce que quelqu'un aurait une solution à me proposer ?   big_smile

Bonjour,
Je pense que Epson, suivie de près par Canon, est l'exemple type de l'obsolescence programmée et de l'imprimante à priix accessible dont le but est de faire acheter des cartouches de la marque ce qui revient à peu près à 3 packs de cartouches = 1 imprimante.
Pourtant j'utilise une Epson et des cartouches génériques, et je m'en sors ...
(avec en plus comme si ça ne suffisait pas des drivers linux difficiles à trouver et/ou à installer)
Pour le scanner, j'utilise simple scan, qui fonctionne correctement.

Pourtant, elle me paraissait très bien cette imprimante.
E.T. ça signifie Eco Tank.
C'est à dire qu'au lieu d'acheter des cartouches hors de prix et à faible autonomie,
il faut recharger les réservoirs de l'imprimante avec des fioles d'encre.
Beaucoup moins coûteux à l'utilisation !

Les réglages se font sur le logiciel de numérisation.
Et aucun ne supprime le fond bleu.

l'imprimante n'est pas en cause, ce bug est lié à une version de ghostscript : https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour … ug/1817308
pourtant résolu depuis 1 an.
Quelle version de ghostscript as-tu?

apt-cache show ghostscript | grep "Version"

La solution consisterait à "downgrader" ghostscript afin de voir si cela résout le problème :

Avec epson le logiciel sous Linux est Image Scan For Linux et je n'ai plus en tête comment  t'orienter pour la partie scanner, je vais sonder ma mémoire de piaf avant de revenir.  sad

Salut a tous
Je ne suis pas comptement d'accord avec vos commentaires négatifs !!!
Pour la partie imprimante, on trouve un .deb (epson-inkjet-printer-escpr-1.6.32-1lsb3.2-amd64.deb) qui s'installe tout seul !!!

Pour le scanner, c'est la galère mais il y a une solution payante ( une qurantaine d'euros ) Vuescan qui marche parfaitement
( mais il ne faut pas y avoir de Vpn installé sur son PC...)

j'utilise Vuescan depuis plus d'un an sous diveres versions d'Ubuntu ( aujord'hui 19.1 )

Cela m'étonne que ce soit la version Pro à ce prix, ce qui limite à de l'opaque et peut-être aux diapos.

Non, ca donne des resultats hyper corrects...
Je scanne en majorité du texte ( N&B et couleur) mais j'ai aussi scanné des photos..
De fait, c'est la seule solution que j'ai trouvé pour utiliser le scanner de cette multifonction puisqu'Epson ne fournit pas de driver

Je crois que tu peux télécharger une version d'essai
Le seul truc, ou j'ai galéré concerne le Firewall
Vuescan utilise le port 5353 (mDns) sur le serveur
Ca ne sert a rien d'ouvrir le port 5353 sur ta machine cliente mais il faut écrire une règle (avec UFW/GUFW) dans laquelle tu autorises le trafic UDP entrant FROM 5353 vers tout port de ta machine .

Bien sur, si tu as un VPN, ca plantera...( desactives le VPN pendant le scan )

Mon interrogation reste, à savoir diapositive, négatif noir et blanc, négatif couleurs ? et avec quel résultat ?
J'ai eu une version Pro de Vuescan qui était trop ancienne d'où impossibilité de mise à jour, la difficulté a éte contournée lorsque l'on m'a proposé de convertir plusieurs tours HP sous XP vers 18.04 et une dernière avec W10 que j'ai gardé en l'état pour y installer le CD Epson fournit avec le scanner; bien entendu cette tour n'est plus connectée après Maj.
Donc hors les négatifs couleurs, tout passe très bien avec Image Scan! for Linux.

Je ne vois pas trop le lien entre ghostscript (impression postscript) et sane, mais bon.
En ce qui concerne le fond bleuté, j'ai le même problème avec mon Epson SX 130, le fond blanc d'un texte est bien vaguement bleu mais à l'impression tout est correct et pour moi c'est le principal.
Le scanner de Philipe de Grenoble est installé correctement, il utilise le gestionnaire d'Epson livré avec image scan donc je ne vois pas quoi faire de plus.
Le retour de scanimage indique le nom du gestionnaire utilisé :

Note :
Je pense qu'il est inutile d'installer imagescan car simple scan et le gestionnaire epson2 livré par sane font maintenant très bien le travail.
J'ai personnellement supprimé image scan donc iscan et iscan-data et mon scanner epson continue à fonctionner.
Ok ce n'est pas une qualité terrible mais il ne faut pas attendre une très grande qualité d'un appareil acheté 40 € dans un hypermarché C.......R (synonime de croisement).

Une suggestion, Xsane permet de régler les couleurs donc peut-être qu'en l'utilisant tu pourras trouver un réglage qui te convient.
Il faut juste arriver à dompter Xsane, c'est un outil complet et complexe, je l'ai vite supprimé car je n'utiliise mon scanner que de manière basique en ne traitant que des documents textes.
