[Résolu]Erreur de démarrage sur 2nde partition
Bonjour,
J'ai sur mon thinkpad W530 ubuntu 20.10 avec debian sur une autre partition. Ubuntu démarre sans problème et par défaut. Par contre, quand j'essaie dans grub de choisir debian, l'écran d'accueil s'affiche comme il faut, mais reste bloqué, avec la roue qui tourne. le message qui apparait en faisant esc est celui-ci:
you are in emergency mode. After logging in, type"journalcl -xb" to view system logs, "systemctl reboot" to rboot, "systemctl default" or ^D to try again to boot into default mode. Give root password for maintenance (or press control-D to continue Control-D ne fait que me ramener à la roue qui tourne, bref, y a un truc qui coince quelque part, mais quoi donc ?

merci pour ton aide (et oui, c'est la 20.04, je m'suis trompé !). Sdc1 c'est un DD externe branché à ce moment, et pas win7. Quant au grun de debian, je peux le mettre à jour ? Le plus simple serait peut être que je réinstalle debian sur cette partition, je sais pas, ce qui est sur c'est que je ne suis pas assez connaisseur pour savoir vraiment ce que je dois faire...

fstab de debian (sda5) essaie de monter une partition qui n'existe pasUUID=834d157b-e7be-4b59-a015-bc2859ede60e /home ext4 defaults 0 2
tu peux essayer de diéser cette ligne puis de rebooter
ce qui est embêtant , c'est que debian cherche un home qu'il ne trouve pas
si tu avais une sauvegarde de ce home il serait peut-être possible de le restaurer
1- moi j'essaierai de diéser (ou de supprimer) la ligne ci-dessus
2- le plus simple si tu n'as rien à perdre , c'est de réinstaller debian
je ne connais pas debian mais Ubuntu en 3/4 d'heure c'est fait (hors configuration personnelle)

OK, je vais essayer de diéser la ligne en question d'abord, et je réinstallerai debian (ou pas...), ou plutôt repartitionner et la supprimer tout simplement.

attention sauf si tu sais comment t'en sortir , le fait de supprimer une partition peut amener le système à ré-organiser ( re-numéroter) des partitions ce qui peut mettre le bazard !!!!!!
donc tu peux si tu veux l'effacer , OK mais supprimer ATTENTION !!!!

Merci pour l'avertissement, oui, je vais faire attention (ce genre de mésaventure m'est déjà arrivé...). Il doit y avoir dans la doc des explications pour unir 2 partitions séparées, je suppose.

je ne sais pas si supprimer debian posera problème
ton disque est partitionné ainsi d'après ce que j'ai pu voir
sda1 : swap
sda2 extended contenant sda6 (98G) : Ubuntu 20.04 puis sda5 (18G) :Debian
je ne saurais pas suffisamment te conseiller

Pas eu le temps de m'en occuper ! En fait je flippe un peu de faire une bétise, donc je vais y aller prudemment, faire des sauvegardes et tout. Et puis peut-être que je ne vais rien faire, faut que je réfléchisse !
