Problème de microprogramme sur ma machine
Bonjour à tous,
J'ai un problème d'affichage superposé et de copier/coller dans mon traitement de texte qui gèle complètement ma machine.
En ouvrant Firefox et par exemple, en essayant de copier un onglet de Marque-pages de ma barre des favoris,
cela gèle complètement les autres fenêtres à part la barre des menus qui s'ouvre quand je pointe dessus avec la souris.
Il m'est alors impossible de faire aucune action et je dois alors fermer et redémarrer l'ordinateur avec le bouton.

J'ai le même problème qui survient aléatoirement quand je suis dans mon traitement de texte.
J'ai fait les Benchmarks de ma carte vidéo et tous ont indiqué un succès.

Je ne crois donc pas que la carte vidéo ait un problème,
J'ai alors testé les RAMs avec memtest avec une clé Ubuntu fraîchement faite et c'est là que j'ai détecté le problème.
Memtest s'exécute complètement que lorsqu'il n'y a qu'une seule barrette de 4G dans l'une des slots de RAM.
Dès que j'augmente la mémoire (soit 2 barrettes de 4 ou 8G), le test gèle à 28% et je dois redémarrer la machine.
J'ai essayé plusieurs combinaisons (slots et barrettes pour arriver à cette conclusion)
Aussi, je me suis assuré que les barrettes sont exactement celles que la machine exige soit des DDR3L 1600Mhz.
Quand j'ai essayé une seule barrette de RAM de 4G et tout s'est bien passé.
Le test s'est effectué plus de 30 fois.
J'ai alors essayé chacune des 4 barrettes de 4G dans chacune des 2 slots et chaque fois, peu importe la slot utilisée.
Le test est concluant ce qui me confirme finalement que les barrettes de 4G sont bonnes. Le problème ne serait pas les RAMS mais la machine.
J'ai mis à jour mon BIOS mais j'ai le même problème.
J'ai lu la documentation suivante: https://www.memtest86.com/tech_freezing-lockups.html qui m'amène exactement à mon problème.
Je crois que le bug#2 décrit dans la doc explique que le problème provient du microprogramme (Firmware).
Il y a eu plusieurs manipulations faites sur cette machine dernièrement pour corriger un bug de cohabitation entre Linux et Windows et une erreur a pu s'y glisser.
Je crois avoir trouvé une solution sur le site de HP concernant ma machine.

Il y aurait 3 installations à y faire mais je suis incapable de les faire:
1- Section DRIVER-CHIPSET, Intel Management Engine Components Driversystem software Manager Icon
(Nécessaire pour pouvoir installer les deux suivantes)
Malgré une clé USB bootable en DOS (qui ne reconnait pas mon disque dur de 800G...), je suis incapable d'installer la mise-à-jour.

Ce message-ci est en fait la suite (scindée) du premier post que j'ai mis sur les chevals de Troie
- J'ai toujours cru qu'un microprogramme est une sous-couche en dessous du BIOS (le niveau le plus bas)
- Pour pouvoir installer les pilotes de HP, je dois être en Windows. HP ne m'affiche pas les infos quand je suis sous Linux.
- Windows s'installe par défaut en GPT sur mon disque dur. Mon problème peut-il être une cause d'une installation Linux en MBR? Est-ce une chose possible puisque lorsque je prépare la clé USB de Ubuntu avec Rufus, il me met en mode MBR par défaut avant de graver la clé.
Se pourrait-il que le disque soit scindé en 2 modes et que cela génère un conflit aléatoire?

etc ...il parait qu ' on peut mettre a jour le bios a partir de ubuntu meme avec un fichier de type .exe , quelqu ' un sur le forum l ' a deja fait , je n' ai plus la discussion en memoire , mais il me semble que c' etait aussi sur un ordi HP .

c ' est plus pour dire a la carte mere de detecter le matriel installé dans ton ordi et relever ses informations afin de le faire prendre en charge ensuite par les pilotes et l ' OS .

il arrive parfois effectivement que windows soit en installé en mode EFI et que ubuntu s ' installe en mode LEGACY .
Cependant tu as deja donné ton boot-info , il me semble , ca n ' aurait pas echappé aux yeux des experts des aidants du forum .
cependant tu peux verifier , toi meme relaivement simplement :
* Sous windows : ouvrir une invite de commande et taper " bcdedit " puis entrée .
* Sous ubuntu , ouvrir un terminal et taper la commande suivante :

Comme HP ne detaille pas trop ce qu ils font comme mise a jour dans leur bios , il vaut mieux generalement avoir toujours la derniere mise a jour installée .
Commence donc par installer la derniere version du bios !
il est bien trop souvent negligé , voire inconnu d' une majorité d' utilisateurs , pourtant , tout de pend de lui , si il comporte un bug , tous les OS auront des comportement inattendus par exemple dans certains cas , tu peux alors chercher pendant des lustres un bug dans l' OS ...
