Démarrage impossible -Le grub ne répond plus [résolu]

Bonjour,

Il y a quelques semaines, j’ai installé sur une machine avec un bios UEFI, un dual boot Windows 10 et Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS, sur deux disques SSD différents (gpt). Et tout fonctionnait parfaitement.
Hier, j’ai voulu accéder au bios et vérifier un paramètre et, au démarrage, j’ai appuyé plusieurs fois sur la touche « Suppr ». Lorsque je suis sorti du bios sans n’avoir fait aucune modification, j’ai eu le problème suivant :
Le grub ne répondait plus avec le message suivant :

« Minimal BASH-like line editing is supported. For the first word, TAB lists possible command completion. Anywhere else TAB lists possible device or file completion
grub> »

La seule commande acceptée que j’ai trouvée c’est « exit » et l’ordinateur lance Windows 10 qui était la seconde option dans le grub.
J’ai fait quelques recherches notamment ici ou là . Mais c’est un peu ancien et je n’ai pas encore appliqué la solution proposée par malbo.

Je n’ai encore rien tenté pour qu’une réparation avec boot-repair ne vienne éventuellement apporter de la confusion.
Je voudrais comprendre la cause et déterminer comment l’éviter à l’avenir.

Avec une boot-repair disk j’ai récupéré le rapport boot-info ci-dessous

Je suis surpris qu'il ne te réponde que cela...
Apres avoir regardé le début du boot EFI qui me semble bon, on devrait passer au lancement du grub ancien avec exécution de cette commande

N'aurais-tu pas modifié le paramètre AHCI/RAIDS/IRST

Non je n'ai pas touché à ce paramètre. Dans le bios j'ai juste voulu vérifier l'état du paramètre sur la virtualisation. Et j'ai quitté le bios sans sauvegarder.

Si on est dans cette autre hypothèse comment je peux avancer ? Je dois quoi qu'il arrive réinstaller Ubuntu ?

D'après le rapport boot-info on voit deux disques

Disk sda: 238.5 GiB, 256060514304 bytes, 500118192 sectors
Disk sdb: 2.7 TiB, 3000592982016 bytes, 5860533168 sectors

Le premier de  250 Go dans lequel est installé windows
Le seconde de 3 To qui te sert pour stocker des données
Il te manque le SSD probablement neuf dans lequel tu as installé récemment UBUNTU ==> https://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.p … #p22504990

Il faut donc que tu ailles dans le bios, pour vérifier les disques qu'il connaît.
S'il n'en voit que deux, tu démontes le SSD "invisible" et tu le remplaces  (Voir la garantie) par un autre
S'il  en voit trois, il y a un problème logiciel  que je ne vois pas.



En dernier recourt, si le disque n'est pas retrouvé et que tu es pressé de réinstaller UBUNTU

Et refais une installation "à coté de windows". Il utilisera automatiquement l'espace libéré.

Il faut donc que tu ailles dans le bios, pour vérifier les disques qu'il connaît.
S'il n'en voit que deux, tu démontes le SSD "invisible" et tu le remplaces  (Voir la garantie) par un autre
S'il  en voit trois, il y a un problème logiciel  que je ne vois pas.

Dans le bios je ne voyais pas le disque (neuf) Ubuntu.
Voilà la solution ;
Hier matin, j’ai ajouté un ventilateur dans le boitier et dans cet espace exigu j’ai dû légèrement toucher, sans m’en rendre compte, au connecteur du disque dur Ubuntu, et je l’ai déconnecté.
Je viens d’enfoncer le connecteur à fond et tout fonctionne de nouveau.

Merci encore une fois à Geole de m’avoir mis sur la bonne piste.


PS. Je m’étais demandé si, une fois le grub installé, il n’y avait pas une procédure particulière à respecter pour accéder au bios, au lieu d’appuyer 5 ou 6 fois sur la touche « Suppr » (qui ressemble un peu à une procédure d’un autre temps smile )
