En frappant la commande que j'ai donné. La borne fin correspond à la borne début de l'envoi précédant.

Le seul conseil que je peux maintenant de donner est le suivant:

Prépare-toi à une réinstallation du système
Ce qui veut dire,  être certain qu'on dispose d'une version ubuntu à installer. A mon avis,  tu pourrais en profiter pour  télécharger la version 20.04
   Que le support USB boote bien
   Que tes données son bien sauvées ailleurs.

Lorsque tu seras dans ce contexte, au lieu  de la réinstllation à partir du support USB, tu peux tenter cela
a) Booter en mode recovery
b) Ne pas choisir  le dernier noyau (   ) mais le précédant (   )
c) Demander l'installation du denier noyau avec la commande que je t'ai donné  en enlevant le mot --simulate
Il est possible que cela rate. Tu auras alors l'obligation de réinstaller. Si tu prends le choix "autre chose" et que tu ne demandes pas le formatage de la partition. Si tu choisis le même nom d'utilisateur, tu devrais aussi retrouver  ta messagerie et tes données. Il te restera à réinstaller  ton imprimante.

C'est pour cela  que je pense qu'il y a un gros problème dans ton O.S.
D'ailleurs , je n'ai toujours pas trouvé pourquoi  la commande "sudo add-apt-repository " plante et pourquoi les autorisations de connexion sont refusées. Alors cette troisième chose, c'est trop.
Je ne vais savoir les résoudre. D'où   mon conseil.

Ok c'est maladroit.

Mais Saragosse n'a jamais prétendu être une pro de l'informatique ni une habituée d'Ubuntu ou des forums d'entraide.

Ce qui lui est arrivé est loin d'être ordinaire, même si on peut trouver trace de quelques autres utilisateurs tombés sur le même genre de messages d'erreur au démarrage, discussions par ailleurs non résolues ou sans explication.

Donc je dirais point de mauvaise(s) volonté(s) ici, juste l'inévitable décalage entre quelqu'un qui débute et par malchance tombe sur un os plutôt rare, et des aidants qui ont fait ce qu'ils ont pu dans ce contexte.

Je crois comme geole qu'il devait y avoir un problème plus « large », plus au cœur du système et qu'une réinstallation propre, à neuf, d'un système récent sera plus efficace.

Assure-toi saragosse d'avoir une sauvegarde fiable des documents que tu juges précieux. Et ensuite, réinstalle du neuf à la place du bancal.

En fait c'est  une maladresse qui démontre qu'il n'est pas toujours facile de se comprendre.
Si le titre initial était
"echec démarrage du gestionnaire d'utilisation pour UID 121".

Il est devenu quelques  minutes
[Résolu] "echec démarrage du gestionnaire d'utilisation pour UID 121".
Ce qui était loin d'être le cas

J'ai pensé que c'était mieux de remplacer Résolu par Abandonné en oubliant de dire que la suite devait être conservée car cela me semblait évidant  de la conserver. Comme quoi, parfois, le mieux est le pire!

OUI Mr   merci de ce retour  et le plaisir que vous  "semblez éprouver "à mettre en avant la faiblesse d'un débutant .
vous faites partie  sans doute des "cadors" de ce forum je n'en doute pas , quant à moi  je suis un simple newbie ( qui constitue la masse insignifiante des incultes !  dans le domaine Linux précisons le …) , c'est attristant  d'être raillé de la sorte pour  un titre mal rédigé dans  son  premier post sur le forum Ubuntu.fr  .
Vous les donneurs de leçons  au coeur du réacteur  vous m'avez blessé en cherchant  à me culpabiliser en parlant de maladresse que j'aurais commise  et je ne sais quoi d'autre encore..,; Cependant sur  mon post #1 , je précise clairement le problème en recopiant textuellement  le relevé de l'erreur  que je porte à votre connaissance , donc  vous n'avez pas été en mesure de  prendre la mesure/d'identifier mon  problème??  Et puis comment aurais-je pu deviner quel devait être le titre approprié à ma question ?

Oui effectivement  233 échanges plus tard  et après les recommandations reçues (# 229)  , j'ai décidé donc de classer cette discussion en mettant Résolu  et aussi parce que je prenais conscience qu'au fil du temps je commençais "par vous gaver ",  et  vous ne vous êtes pas gênés pour me le faire comprendre … et paf ! encore une maladresse de ma part   en classant dans 'Résolu' , j'ai modifié aussitôt ma connerie à la demande  de 'geole' qui m'a dit de mettre dans 'abandonné ce que j'ai fait immédiatement .
Je n'ai pas de chance pour un premier contact sur ce forum  j'en garderai un très très mauvais souvenir , ceci dit je resterai fidèle à Ubuntu .Merci à Canonical d'avoir favorisé son développement et ainsi permettre la démocratisation d'une distribution  Linux pour les débutants .
Le plus dur pour moi ont été  les sarcasmes , les phrases méprisantes , et le ton très caustique utilisé par certains à mon égard , surtout voyez- vous que je n'ai certainement pas votre âge et que ça m'a beaucoup touché, c'est ainsi  va la vie  , il y des coups que tu encaisses et d'autres qui te blessent profondément .
Merci aussi à ceux qui ont compris  que je débutais et  que de ce fait on ne parlait pas le même langage , c'est un signe d'intelligence que de se mettre à la portée du plus faible mais  ce n'est pas donné à  tout le monde .

Voilà les choses sont dites sans ambages  je n'ai pas de rancœur, Je vous dis à bientôt sur ce forum  car pour moi il y a des questions  en suspens et  qui me turlupinent notamment celles de la confidentialité des échanges sur ce forum ,  notamment dans les retours de commandes très très intrusives , le stockage des retours  et leur stockage  sur des serveurs externes susceptibles de pirater mon adresse IP , c'est un peu facile de demander derechef à un newbie d'exécuter un boot-repair  et un boot info ….quid des résultats de ces commandes ????
