RESOLU minidlna ne me donne pas accés a mes fichiers sous ubuntu 22.04

Bonsoir à toutes et à tous.
Petit souci avec ubuntu 22.04 : dans cette version et après installation et configuration, minidlna ne me donne pas l'accès à mes fichiers.
Des dossiers s'affichent, mais rien de visible dedans.
Je passe toujours par vlc pour vérifier que tout cela fonctionne, mais là, juste la version, les dossiers et… Le vide ?
idem si je passe par bubble upnp avec mon téléphone : système repéré, mais dossiers vides.
Sous ubuntu 20.04 et linuxmint 20 même configuration de minidlna tout va bien.
Avec linuxmint 21 (base ubuntu 22.04) ça ne marche pas mieux ?
J'ai décidément des soucis avec cette version. À moins que j'aie raté un petit quelque chose !

Tu peux aussi lancer minidlna en le mettant dans ton groupe utilisateur.
C'est expliqué dans la doc pour avoir les droits sur les fichiers lus.

J'ai même fait une nouvelle installation avec une configuration similaire a ubuntu 20.04 et linuxmint20.
Même punition :j'accède dans Vlc a mon "friendly-name". Un clic sur parcourir tous les dossiers et ......toujours le vide de l'espace !
Ça commence à me gonfler que des choses qui tournaient bien deviennent un case-tête.
j'ai un problème différent d'affichage des vignettes dans une fenêtre ouverte pour mon téléphone, mais qui reste irrésolu à ce jour (pas l'endroit, je sais, mais ça se cumule)

Bon, je me détends et si ça m'attrape, je réinstalle une 20.04 et bonjour 2025 et zut a... je ne sais pas trop d'ailleurs

la ligne de commande qui sauve : sudo adduser minidlna jean-raymond (c'est moi !) ou sudo adduser minidlna xxxxxxx (votre beau nom d'utilisateur)
Une vérification de la configuration, un service minidlna restart et ça marche, j'ai accès à mes dossiers et fichiers.
Une simple question de droit ......enfin simple, façon de causer…
Je suis content, car minidlna n'est pas une usine à gaz et cela me suffit

Alors oui, mettre son utilisateur dans le groupe minidlna est une autre solution.
Mais ta remarque m'a poussé à chercher un peu plus, vu que la modification du groupe dans minidlna.conf a fonctionné sur mon serveur.

minidlna.conf a écrit :

# User and group the daemon should run as
# only for sysV init, for systemd please override minidlna.service

C'est l'explication !
Sur des installations récentes qui utilisent systemd, il faut changer le groupe dans /usr/lib/systemd/system/minidlna.service.

sudo nano /usr/lib/systemd/system/minidlna.service

suivi d'un

sudo systemctl daemon-reload

C'est finalement plus simple de se mettre dans le groupe minidlna.

Edit : je viens de le noter dans la documentation. Regarde si c'est compréhensible.

Ne me reste plus qu'à régler mon problème de vignettes dans la fenêtre ouverte pour le contenu d'un téléphone

Je ne vais pas aller dans ton autre sujet pour le moment car je n'ai pas encore d'explication.
Mais sur une VM de Lubuntu 22.04, si je branche mon Xperia xz2 en LineageOs 20 (Android 13), alors les vignettes des photos sont affichées dans l'explorateur de fichiers.
Alors que dans Ubuntu 22.04, elles ne s'affichent pas.

sudo apt install pcmanfm-qt

testé sur Ubuntu 22.04, pcmanfm-qt affiche bien les vignettes.
