[RESOLU] sources.list bizarre...

Bonsoir,
après une mise à jour normale, faite dans la journée, je me suis aperçu que j'avais un triangle jaune dans le systray, avec un message "les informations de mise à jour sont obsolètes. Ceci est peut-être du à un problème sur le réseau ou à un dépot qui n'est plus disponible...etc".
je tente de recharger avec Update-manager (en cliquant sur le bouton "vérifier"), et ça tourne pendant 10 bonnes minutes, en mobilisant 50% de mon CPU, pour finalement me dire que certains dépots sont inaccessibles.
je remarque que les URLs des dépots sont inhabituelles, donc je vérifie mon sources.list, et voici ce que j'y ai trouvé:

c'est comme si un soft avait écrit un deuxième sources.list en rajoutant "-i386" à la fin de chaque ligne, pourtant, le fichier /etc/apt/sources.list porte comme date de dernière modification le 4 mai...

pour le moment, je désactive ces dépots, mais j'aimerais comprendre...

en fait, la première partie de mon sources.list est correcte; ce qui me gêne, c'est tout ce qui se trouve après la ligne "### ia32-apt-get entries ###"...

pour info, je viens de lancer "apt-get update" dans un terminal, et je vois ceci:

bizarre que ça interroge des serveurs Debian (qui ne sont pas dans mon sources.list), et puis ce "Convert" ne m'inspire guère...

et puis, en consultant la liste des paquets installés, j'ai "ia32-libs", ia32-libs-tools", "ia32-archive", et "ia32-apt-get" (coincidence ou pas, leur date d'installation correspond à la date de dernière modification de mon sources.list): je me demande lesquels sont vraiment nécessaires pour faire tourner des softs en 32bits, sachant que généralement, j'utilise l'option "--force-architecture" de Dpkg pour les installer, et Getlibs pour les dépendances; à ce sujet, j'ai également remarqué que les softs installés de cette façon apparaissent maintenant dans Synaptic, alors que ce n'était pas le cas avant...

Alors la... Avec toute la bonne volonté du monde....

Je viens de faire une petite recherche et je pencherais vers des problèmes de compatibilité de version entre ton os et ton sources.list.

A savoir : Ton sources.list ne semble pas d'origine... Il sort d'ou ? et puis  jete un oeil ici :

Je ne suis pas tres fort en commandes console, mais un petit lshw devrait te donner en début de liste le type de processeur - 32 ou 64 bits - et le type d'os installé - 32 ou 64 bits aussi -

Ubuntu 64 ne tournerait pas sur un PC en 32 wink
mon Asus est bien un 64, pas de doute là-dessus, et j'utilise la version AMD64 depuis Intrepid...
quand au dépot pour Virtualbox, il était encore en "intrepid" parce que j'ai oublié de le changer au moment de l'upgrade vers Jaunty...

quoiqu'il en soit, j'ai fini par trouver: à force de chercher des solutions pour améliorer la compatibilité avec les softs en 32bits, j'avais installé "ia32-archive", et "ia32-apt-get", parce que leur description semblait prometteuse en terme de facilité de gestion de cette compatibilité.
mais en fouinant dans les forums Debian (ces paquets viennent de chez Debian, étant dans le dépot multiverse), je me suis aperçu que ce système était loin d'être au point (beaucoup de rapports de bugs), et pas du tout adapté à Ubuntu...
j'ai donc désinstallé ces deux paquets, ainsi que leurs dépendances, et effacé les fichiers de conf que Synaptic n'arrivait pas à enlever (les répertoires /etc/apt/foreign et /etc/apt/native, et leur contenu); du coup, tout est rentré dans l'ordre (après avoir remis un sources.list standart), et mes CPUs tournent avec 10 degrés de moins (les utilitaires de ces paquets tournaient en boucle).

je passe donc le sujet en "résolu", et merci de ton aide Enzomolinari... wink
