-- petite précision, j'ai été élevé aux biberons Atari - dos puis win - linux c'est depuis mars 2010 - ma compétence est très limitée.
--- si ce dépôt pose problème comment le supprimer le mieux possible ?

Un très grand merci de ta réactivité. Cette communauté, et le système Linux est vraiment conviviale. Je me suis déjà rendu à une installe partie, Cela m'étonnerais que je retourne à un win quelque chose.

c'est vrai, mais la vie n'est pas un long fleuve tranquille. Il y aurait de l'ennuie -- Je vais me mettre en position horizontale a+

Bonsoir, je suis chez free. Je me permets de coller le tuto pour faire reconnaître une imprimante dans un réseau privé. Je possède 3 pc - 2 en ubuntu 10-04 (éthernet) & 10-10 (wifi) le 3° en win 7 (wifi) -
La condition c'est brancher l'imprimante sur le port usb de la box. donc, au cas ou .......
Ouvrir le gestionnaire de configuration des imprimantes :
Pour Ubuntu : Système->Administration->Impression Pour Xubuntu : Applications->Paramètres->Impression
Cliquez sur Édition -> Nouvelle Imprimante Cliquez sur AppSocket/HP JetDirect, mettre comme Nom de l'hôte : mafreebox.freebox.fr et faites Suivant. (peut être : malivebox.livebox.fr)
Choisissez la marque de l'imprimante et faites Suivant. Choisissez le modèle de l'imprimante, et faites Suivant. Donnez un nom à l'imprimante (facultatif) et faites Appliquer

Conditions : une imprimante USB
1ère étape : brancher l'imprimante USB au port USB du boîtier ADSL.
Vous pouvez rebooter votre boitier ADSL pour être assuré de disposer du dernier Firmware en date.
Configuration sous Windows :
Aller dans le menu "Imprimantes et télécopieurs".
Puis faire "Fichier -> Ajouter une imprimante".
A l'écran suivant, laisser "imprimante locale" mais décocher "détection automatique".
Faire "Suivant", puis choisir de "créer un nouveau port" (type TCP/IP)
En faisant "Suivant", l'assistant d'ajout de port se lance. Taper l'adresse de la Freebox ( mafreebox.freebox.fr )
En poursuivant, Windows va chercher à connaître le type de serveur d'impression (ça peut être un poil longuet). Ne trouvant pas, laisser "Generic Network Card" :
Faire suivant, puis terminer. On va fermer l'assistant d'ajout de port. Après, l'installation de l'imprimante est on ne peut plus classique, avec le driver à fournir :
Terminer l'installation de l'imprimante "normalement".
En souhaitant que les principes de base pourront vous servir.

un simple changement (s) de cartouche(s) et tout fonctionne. Sous win j'ignorais que mon imprimante possède un repaire physique pour indiquer la cartouche vide. Un simple appuie sur une touche, il n'y a pas que les programmes informatiques qui règles les problèmes.
