Ok autant pour moi car quand j'ai wlan0 et wmaster0 je n'ai pas de wifi et ma carte n'est pas reconnue.

Bon pas cool je viens d'upgrader ma Xubuntu edgy en feisty, et même problème d'interface double rausb0 (chipset rt2570) et wmaster0... iwlist ne renvoie rien, networking restart ne change rien... sad

Hello,

J'ai eu un problème de perte de WIFI en passant à Feisty alors que ça marchait directement (sans drivers windows) avec Edgy & Dapper...
En gros, impossible de se connecter même si le dongle wifi était bien installé puisqu'il détectait les réseaux dans le coin... J'ai la connexion wmaster0 en plus de wlan0 depuis l'update Feisty. En fait pour moi il a suffit de modifier la routeur pour qu'il broadcaste le SSID et là c'est réparti... j'écris depuis Feisty big_smile Peut-être que ça pourra en aider 2 ou 3 dans ce thread...
Pourvu que ça dure et esperons que ce sera réparé pour la sortie officielle...

Un nouveau noyau va sortir d'ici peu (2.6.20-13) peut être un espoir. Pour moi en tout cas ça marche pas direct (j'suis en rt73) il faut installer les drivers de Serialmonkey ou bien ceux du site officiel Ralink pour que ça fonctionne (tout en désactivant Network-manager).

J'vous tiens au courant des résultats quand j'aurais testé le nouveau noyau.

Aujourd'hui, j'ai tout mis à jour (en débloquant les paquets que j'avais bloqués).


Suite à la MAJ, plus d'internet (même après redémarrage sur le noyau 2.6.20-13)!

J'ai retrouvé internet en ré-ré installant les paquets cités ci-dessous à la version présente sur le CD de la Herd 5:

libavahi-core5



Je tiens à préciser que le problème n'est pas du au noyau ni à network-manager! Uniquement à ce foutu avahi...

Salut Flav!!

Moi j'ai juste besoin de faire le /etc/init.d/networking restart pour que ça fonctionne par contre les restricted modules du noyau 2.6.20-13 n'ont pas voulu s'installer je vais retenter ce soir j'espère que ça ira.

Ca serait bien de le signaler sur le rapport de bug comme ça si plusieurs personnes ont ce problème les développeurs se pencheront plus sur le problème et surtout le résoudront. big_smile

Le bug est passé en statut confirmed sur le launchpad c'est bon signe je pense wink
continuez à remonter sur le rapport svp qu'on soit une bonne fois pour toute débarassé de ce bug génant.

La vache ! Niveau ...medium!????
J'espère que c'est une plaisanterie...un bug comme ça c'est niveau "critical" direct. C'est user-friendly ou pas Ubuntu ? Le débutant il faut qu'il sache d'emblé ouvrir une console et taper un networking restart ?

Bin Mark il est pas près de résoudre le bug #1 alors....

Ca c'est paske en fait le bug datait du noyau 2.6.12, un autre gars avait suivi avec le nouveau bug et donc moi aussi... Je sens que je vais réouvrir un nouveau bug clean en fait...

Essaye éventuellement de vider ton /etc/network/interfaces (à l'exception des deux lignes concernant "lo") puis de redémarrer voir si c'est pas mieux...

Méfiez vous : le nom des cartes réseaux a bougé...

Ma carte WIFI était en WLAN0 et cette fois elle est passé en ETH1 !!!
Le meilleur moyen de le vérifier est de faire un ifconfig !

Pour moi c'était rausb1, puis elle est passée à wlan0+wmaster0 pendant le bug, puis elle est repassée à rausb1
