3d materielle sous feisty avec x850xt (j y arrive pas)

bonjour a tous et merci a ceux qui voudront me repondre,

J ai une carte mere DFI Lanparty pro875B (chip intel) et une x850xt en agp, ca fait 1 mois que j essai de configurer kubuntu feisty pour avoir l acceleration 3d materielle, j ai suivi tellement de forum que je suis completement pommé, j ai essayer tout les pilotes possible et rien n y fait.

y a t il quelqu un qui pourrait m expliquer en detail comment faire ??

Je veux par la suite installer beryl( j y ai passé aussi pas mal de temps sans succès)

Ma conf:
CM DFI Lanparty pro 875B
P4 3.4C
2 Go de ram
ATI X850XT agp

OS: Kubuntu Feisty Fawn 7.04

je suis sur qu'il as du deja essayer tout ces tutos réaliser a l'époque des drivers 8.24, pas vraiment les derniers et depuis il n'y as pas que les drivers qui ont evoluer, beryl compiz xgl emerald compcomm et je sais pas quoi ... enfin tout quoi mais pas les tutos ^

Pour ma part, je suis tout comme toi, et j'ai fais ca avec les 3 distrib mandriva opensuse et finalement ubuntu.

J'ai une x800 gto, et j'ai jamais eu la 3D sauf depuis aujourd'hui.

J'ai pas trop de conseil a te donner car la 3D, je l'ai sans savoir comment.
Tout ce que je peux dire, c'est que aprés avoir reinstaller mon système et l'avoir mis à jour, j'ai suivi ce tuto en premier:

J'ai donc tout virer avec synaptic (fglrx xgl emerald compiz 3Ddesktop)

Puis j'ai reinstallé ces memes truc un par un en commencant par fglrx puis xgl puis compiz.

A ce niveau j'ai la 3D mais le cube marche pas par contre ^
PS: petite precision, je suis sous ubuntu 7.10 gutsy

voici mon xorg.conf si ca peut t'aider car on a des cartes graph de la meme famille (x800)

bravo donito, ta soluce a marchée pour moi,
avant glxgears: 330 fps
apres: 9800 fps

que du bonheur, je m attaque maintenant a beryl

en fait, le pb c est qu il me manquait la ligne "load "dri"" dans la section
"modules" de mon xorg.conf

je me lance tout de suite et si le cube tourne, je te file les infos !!!

a tres bientot je l espere
