ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 et accélération graphique
Bonjour à tous ce post fait suite à celui-çi mais il était devenu trop brouillon d'où je crois le manque d'intérêt.
Donc voilà je reprend j'ai une carte ATI Radeon Xpress1100 à mémoire partagée dans la RAM et j'ai un proc AMD Turion 64 bits, double coeur. Je voudrais bénéficier de l'accélération graphique avec fglrx (ou tout autre driver). J'ai essayé ce tuto mais ça n'a pas marché.

Si vous avez besoin d'autre données, n'hésitez pas. Ah oui, aussi j'ai utilisé envy pour installé les drivers mais ça n'a pas marché.

Il n'y a aucune trace de fglrx dans ton Xorg.conf Remplace "ati" par "fglrx" à la ligne "Driver"
Si ça ne fonctionne pas, ajoute "fglrx" au début de la liste dans le fichier /etc/modules

bonjour,
je viens d'installer ubuntu sur le même pc.
J'ai les même rapports sur le terminal.
Je ne vois pas où il faut Remplacer "ati" par "fglrx" à la ligne "Driver".

il manque également option composite "enable" a la fin de ton xorg

par rapport a envy, perso ai la meme carte graphique, j ai installé les pilotes ATI avec envy, en mode graphique l installation s est bien deroulé", mais a l arrivée aucun changement...ca a meme bugué...bref j ai redemaré en mode texte, et demaré envy en mode texte, apres "réinstallation" en mode texte, et redemarage tout roule....ca prend 2secondes si tu ne la pas deja fais e te le conseil..
