[resolu] lecteurs/graveurs DVD pas reconnus

Salut

Mes lecteurs de DVD ne sont pas reconnus sous gusty. J'ai du faire l'installation avec la netinstall (http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=141473) et apres avoir longuement chercher je ne parviens toujours pas a les monter.

Pour le moment l'erreur quand j'essaies d'accéder au lecteur  est : Impossible de monter le volume sélectionné.
mount: /dev/scd0 is not a block device

Les graveurs sont :
1 - graveur LG GSA L42  N
2 - graveur philips (je ne sais plus quel modéle mais fonctionnait tres bien avec mon ancien PC sous Feisty)

Mon PC est un medion 6526.
Comment faire pour faire reconnaitre ce matériel ?

Peut-etre qu'une piste serait de remplacer le lecteur de DVD-ROM par un Graveur DVD SATA et non IDE...

Non, je ne l'ai pas installé, si je ne peux pas voir mes lecteurs après une netinstall, je trouve que cela bride pas mal linux...

Par contre je pense que je vais peut-etre m'acheter un graveur SATA, le pionneer DVR 212BK (35 euros chez grosbill.com), il parait qu'il est vu par ubuntu. Je vais démonter mon PC pour voir s'il y a un port SATA de libre... j'espère qu'il n'y a rien à configurer en SATA car le hardware et moi, cela fait 2.
Il faut que je regarde aussi dans le BIOS si on peut faire booter le DVDROM SATA avant le Raid SATA...

En plus, cela résoudra un autre pb du médion : le lecteur de dvd-rom est d'une lenteur effrayante : il est annoncé en 16x, mais il ne fait que du 4x au début du DVD et 8x en fin de DVD (dixit nero speed)...
du coup, pour faire de la copie drive à drive en direct c'est possible qu'en toute petite vitesse (le graveur LG etant cappable de graver 2x plus vite ce que le lecteur DVD est cappable de lire, un comble !)

Que dit le kernel ? As-tu recompilé un kernel en activant différents controleurs SATA / PATA ?

Je suis en train de me faire une Clef USB bootable (mettre le boot.img sur la clef via NTRawrite + syslinux pour la rendre bootable + mettre le fichier iso d'ubuntu à la racine d'une partition FAT32)

Pour l'instant, le bios ne boote pas dessus bien que je demande à booter USB disk dans les préférence de boot...

J'abandonne, car en netinstall, ubuntu ne voit pas mon raid 0 soft : il voit deux disques séparés.

Pas de CDROM de vu, pas le Raid soft de vu : ca fait un peu beaucoup...

Du coup, je garde mon vieux PC avec Kubuntu dessus et j'ai installé Xming sur le medion,
donc j'ai du linux et du windows en meme temps sur le meme écran, c'est pas plus mal....

Pour le raid, je n'ai pas vu le pb car je l'ai enlevé. Je trouve dommage d'avoir 2 DD et de devoir partionner apres....
Pour les lecteurs, je suis toujours en train de chercher une solution. Je n'ai pas encore eu le courage de compiler le noyau...

J'ai essayé ce soir une Fedora 7.91 (8 beta en fait), et je pense que cette fois-ci les Drives DVD sont reconnus, malheureusement, si j'arrive bien à la mire de login graphique, je n'arrive pas à me logger, cela hang...

Encore un petit effort...

Ca y est...les lecteurs sont reconnus avec la béta de Gusty.
