(Résolu) Problème installation pilotes Nvidia

Bonjour,

Après avoir installé correctement mes pilotes nvidia, je n'arrive plus à relancer KDM une fois que xorg.conf ait changé nv en nvidia. Obligé de rééditer le xorg.conf nvidia--> nv puis de faire un kdm restart pour que ça remarche.
Une idée pour que KDM se lance avec les pilotes installés ?

L'installation s'est bien terminée sans erreur en tout cas.

Hmm, bizarre, quand X s'est lancé, il n'a pas réussi à charger le module...Tu viens de le réinstaller ? Si oui, reboote et refais sudo modprobe nvidia.

Tu n'as pas correctement désinstallé les anciens drivers...

sudo apt-get remove --purge linux-restricted-modules*
sudo apt-get remove --purge nvidia-glx*

Puis reboote, réinstalle tes drivers nvidia et relance sudo modprobe --show-depends nvidia.

j'ai une carte graphique asus8600gts et quand j'active l'accélérateur graphique et que je redémarre  il y a plantage de l'ordi écran noir je suis obligé de changer dans xorg.conf "nvidia" par "nv" pur relancer l'ordi

excusez le déterrage, mais je tiens à dire MERCI BEAUCOUP pour cette solution

le newbie que je suis a manqué l'installation des derniers pilotes et ne savait plus comment les enlever (désinstallation ne faisait rien, à chaque démarrage "ubuntu est en mode faible resolution...")

MERCI ENCORE, et vive ubuntu qui rend le monde Linux accessible aux brainwindowashés smile

Ca doit être ça le problème que j'ai. Je m'en doutais mais comme je n'ai pas mon PC sous les yeux la journée, je ne peux rien tester, alors je tergiverse sur le forum tongue
