probleme touchpad et /etc/X11/xorg.conf ???

Bonjour,

Je suis sous Ubuntu Edgy et j'ai un problème bizarre avec mon touchpad. Quand je me logge et que j'ouvre une fenêtre mon curseur de souris devient "fou", ca descend directement en bas, comme si j'avais le clic gauche bloqué et donc tout défile d'un coup. Je ne peux rien faire, c'est très génant.
J'ai changé dix fois mon fichier /etc/X11/xorg.conf mais ca change rien.

La seule chose qui marche est de redémarrer le serveur X avec CTRL+ALT+BACKSPACE et me relogger et là ca marche nickel pendant environ deux heures et après rebelotte il faut redémarrer le serveur X (attention si je redémarre l'ordinateur, alors là j'ai de nouveau une souris de touchpad folle!).

Quelqu'un a une idée, le fichier /etc/X11/xorg.conf est bien lu dès le début, qu'est-ce que celà change de redémarrer le serveur X si j'ai rien touché?? Je comprends pas ce qui se passe...

J'ai essayé de mettre ta config Yaen mais mon problème reste toujours le même.
Pourrait-il y avoir un rapport avec grub? Car au démarrage de mon ordi (dual-boot), grub se lance. Je sélectionne Linux et là, la souris du touchpad déconne. Puis je relance le serveur X (CRTL-ALT-BACKSPACE) et là la souris marche nickel. Comme relancer le serveur X ne relance pas gru je me dis que peut-être que ce n'est pas la même chose qui est relue??

J'ai presque trouvé une solution! Je pense que Synaptics n'est pas le bon driver pour mon touchpad. Car quand j'enlève la section "synaptics touchpad" de mon /etc/X11/xorg.conf la souris ne s'affole plus au premier démarrage. Par contre j'ai parfois du mal à pouvoir cliquer dans certaines zones..

Quelqu'un aurait-il un autre driver que synaptics dans son xorg.conf?? J'ai un acer aspire 3100 et il semble que le driver le mieux serait elantech???
Cmment l'installe-t-on, quelqu'un a déjà essayé?

Merci jajaX mais ca marche toujours pas.. J'ai vraiment l'impression que c'est le driver Synaptics qui fait déconner ma souris...

Personne n'a un autre driver alors?

Merci... car là c'est un peu embêtant cette histoire de souris de touchpad folle avec synaptics ou alors souris qui clique pas trop bien quand j'enlève synaptics comme driver...

ah mais c'est du KDE...
pas d'idées. ACER c'est pas génial comme matériel.
