[Résolu] démarrage uniquement sur w8 et boot-repair impuissant
Bonjour à tous,
Je viens de tenter une installation d'Ubuntu 14.04 sur un portable HP (oui, je sais...) et il ne démarre que sur windows.
J'ai tenté une exécution de boot-repair depuis le live usb et il semble échouer, me demandant de venir poster un message ici avec l'url du diagnostic...

Ton installation est parfaite. Tu peux démarrer sur Ubuntu en pressant la touche F9 au démarrage (ou en la tapotant, j'ai lu que ça marche aussi) jusqu'à ce que le Boot Menu apparaisse. Tu pourras trouver une entrée (ou deux entrée) "ubuntu". Une des deux (si Secure Boot est activé) ou les deux entrées ubuntu (si Secure Boot est désactivé) permettent de démarrer Ubuntu.
EDIT le 4 sept 2014 : ce post était trop pénible à ouvrir : dans le Boot-Info, j'ai supprimé des milliers de lignes commençant par "grub-install" qui doivent être dues à un bug de Boot-Repair.

Bonjour Malbo,
Merci pour avoir répondu rapidement.
Effectivement, j'ai continué à chercher un peu (dans tes posts notamment) et cette option semble maintenant rester en place (elle était apparue au début puis avait disparu). J'ai cessé de bidouiller et j'ai retiré le live usb, ceci explique peut-être cela.
Donc ça a l'air de fonctionner comme tu le dis, via F9 puis sélection d'ubuntu.
Mais bon, ça n'est pas totalement satisfaisant, notamment parce qu'il ne faut pas manquer le coche sous peine de devoir redémarrer windows pour revenir au point de départ. Je m'attendais à pouvoir lancer ubuntu par défaut comme sur toutes mes autres machines? Qu'a peu bien faire HP pour que ce soit aussi pénible?

Nope, c'est bien un 1040 "non G1", en tout cas c'est ce qui est indiqué sur la facture.
Quand au blocage, c'est impressionnant un tel niveau de ******** . Ça me donne presque envie de retourner le pc juste pour ça. J'ai d'ailleurs du mal à comprendre comment ça peut être légal. Si on a pu forcer microsoft à laisser le choix du navigateur internet, pourquoi les laisser forcer la main sur le système?
