HP Pavilion 17-f055nb

Bonjour,

Juste pour info en espérant être dans la bonne section du forum:

Le PC portable HP Pavilion 17-f055nb fonctionne top nickel sous Ubuntu 14.04 64 bits.

Ce qu'il a dans le coco:

- Processeur: AMD A8-6410 APU
- Carte graphique: AMD Radeon R5 + R7
- Mémoire vive: 8 Go RAM

Tout est reconnu et fonctionnel directement sauf la carte réseau Wi-Fi (02:00.0 Network controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8723BE PCIe Wireless Network Adapter). Pour qu'elle soit fonctionnelle, il suffit de mettre Ubuntu à jour via les commandes:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

Je ne sais pas si ça a une importance mais je tiens a préciser que j'ai activé les dépôts Partenaire et Indépendant.

Le Bios du PC est en mode EFI/UEFI et SecureBoot activé.

Il est a noter que contrairement à d'autres PC portable HP, j'ai directement le menu de GRUB qui s'affiche et je peux choisir de démarrer sous Ubuntu 14.04 ou sous Windows 8.1 pré-installé. Pas besoin de passer par le gestionnaire d'amorçage.

Pourrais-tu vérifier si tu as le même comportement de ton système UEFI quand tu fais la manip expliquée dans ce post : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.ph … #p17800861

Déjà testé et la réponse est non.

J'ai toujours le menu de GRUB. Même après avoir mis Windows 8.1 à jour.

C'est vraiment trop beau. Si c'est ça, je vais finir par moins détester HP...
Depuis une session de ton Ubuntu installé, pourrais-tu faire un Boot-Info en suivant cette procédure simplifiée : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.ph … #p16690381
Tu posteras l'URL du Boot-Info dans ta réponse ou bien si tu crains pour la confidentialité de certaines parties de ce Boot-Info, colle dans ta réponse le contenu de ce Boot-Info débarrassé des éléments confidentiels.

Non, je n'ai rien changé.

Enfin si. J'ai mis le lecteur DVD en priorité dans l'ordre de démarrage dans le BIOS. Mais c'était avant d'installer Ubuntu via un LiveDVD.

Depuis ta session du Ubuntu installé, peux-tu faire l'état des lieux en passant cette commande :

sudo efibootmgr -v

Puis tu passes la commande qui devrait mettre ubuntu en priorité de démarrage :

sudo grub-install

Et Enfin, tu refais l'état des lieux en repassant la commande initiale :

sudo efibootmgr -v

Tu postes le tout (les commandes et les résultats) : ça devrait ressembler à ce que j'ai détaillé dans ce Tuto quant au résultat final (après "réparation" de Grub, ubuntu passe en priorité de démarrage)

Tu vérifieras si cette modif a eu une incidence sur le démarrage par défaut de ton ordi (normalement, ça devrait toujours démarrer par défaut sur le menu Grub)

Puisque tu crains de passer la commande "sudo grub-install" que j'ai proposée dans le post #8 par peur de casser le démarrage, peux-tu au moins essayer de modifier la priorité de boot dans le système UEFI pour mettre ubuntu en tête de priorité et voir si ça continue à marcher pareil (menu Grub par défaut au démarrage) ? Si ça marche pareil, peux-tu démarrer sur Ubuntu et passer la commande "sudo efibootmgr -v " et poster le résultat obtenu ? Le but c'est de vérifier que tu n'es pas obligé de laisser USB Drive (UEFI) en priorité de boot pour que ton dual-boot fonctionne.

Ben non, il ne me propose pas de choisir Ubuntu ou Windows. C'est juste Gestionnaire de démarrage du SE.

Sur ce point, c'est comme avec mon ancien PC portable HP Pavilion g7-2335sb.

Retour d'expérience sur l'installation du PC portable HP Pavilion 17-f056nb.
Ce portable a les mêmes caractéristiques que le 17-f055nb sauf pour l'écran qui est un FullHD mat.

Les portables 17-f056nb et 17-f055nb ont comme :
+ Processeur : APU AMD A8-6410 4 cœurs avec contrôleur graphique Radeon R5 (et non R4)
+ Carte graphique : Contrôleur graphique R7 M260 AMD Radeon

Lors de mon installation, Ubuntu 14.04 64 bits n'a pas reconnu ma carte graphique.

J'ai dû installer le driver propriétaire « Catalyst» proposé par Ubuntu.
Ce driver indique comme carte graphique: AMD Radeon R4 ( et non R5).
Le rendu et les performances sont moyens.

Pour installer une meilleure version du driver (14.9), il faut suivre les instructions suivantes :

La nouvelle version du driver Catalyst (14.9) reconnait le contrôleur graphique Radeon R5 mais il ne reconnait pas la carte graphique R7 M260 AMD Radeon.

Concernant le réseau wifi, il est reconnu sans problème ... mais dans mon cas, il est instable. Il plante après un certain temps.
Actuellement, j'utilise ce portable avec une clé USB Wi-Fi.

Quelqu'un a-t-il une solution ?

P.-S. Globalement, ce portable est à conseiller. Il est performant et l'écran FullHD est superbe.

Je viens d'aller vérifier dans le BIOS et c'est bien Une AMD Radeon R5.

Ben moi, la carte réseau Wi-Fi  n'a pas été fonctionnelle dès le départ.

Il a fallu que je mette Ubuntu à jour pour qu'elle soit fonctionnelle.

Mais maintenant, et je ne sais pas pourquoi, elle n'est plus très stable.

Après 3 ans,je redonne des nouvelles de mon PC portable HP Pavilion 17-f055nb.
J'ai fait une mise-à-niveau de Windows 8.1 64 bits vers Windows 10 64 bits et une mise-à-niveau de Ubuntu 14.04 64 bits vers Ubuntu 16.04 64 bits.
J'ai ajouté 4 Go de RAM pour arriver à un total de 12 Go de RAM.
Pas de problème a signaler smile sauf que c'est un peu la galère pour ajouter une barrette de RAM sad !
