Gros problème, mise à jour d'ubuntu et applications - RESOLU

Bonjour,
Je débute avec Ubuntu, j'aime le concept et l'interface, mais j'ai du mal à le faire fonctionner correctement, je ne connais pas grand chose à la maintenance de ce système.

Système: Ubuntu 12.10
Problème: Impossible de mettre à jour Ubuntu, impossible d'installer une quelconque application.
A chaque fois j'ai le même message d'erreur: téléchargement impossible, vérifier votre connexion internet, connexion qui fonctionne très bien, étant donné que je suis en train de poster ce message actuellement.

Toute aide serait la bienvenue.

Bonjour Lily-9,

Ta version n'est plus mise à jour, comme tu peux le voir ici
il faut que tu changes l'adresse de tes dépôt comme expliqué ici

Une fois tes dépôts modifiés
fais une mise à jour comme ceci :
ouvres un terminal
tapes

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

puis fais un peu de ménage

sudo apt-get clean

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge

Ensuite essaies la version 14.04 en live, qui est supportée jusqu'en Avril 2019.

Si tout fonctionne tu peux tenter la Mise à niveau

mais il serait préférable de sauvegarder tes documents et d'installer la 14.04
en effaçant ta version 12.10.

J'ai réussi à ouvrir l’éditeur de texte en mode administrateur, à ouvrir source (1ère manipulation), je trouve mon fichier source bizarre, je te le copie-colle au cas où:

J'ai compris qu'il fallait que je remplace les adresses, mais question, "quantal" c'est quoi?

J'ai finalement supprimé toutes les mentions superflus, remplacé les adresses, bref, plus la suite de la procédure.

J'ai pu télécharger le logiciel que je voulais.

Pour le changement de version, en live, j'ai lu, apparemment il faut booter... J’essaierai çà plus tard et je tiendrai au courant sur ce fil de discussion.

Pour répondre à ta question Quantal est le nom d'Ubuntu 12.10 →Ubuntu 12.10 (« The Quantal Quetzal ») .

Normalement dans ton source.list tu devrais avoir par exemple

http://old-releases.ubuntu.com/ubuntu quantal main restricted

à la place de

deb http://fr.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ quantal main restricted

et ainsi de suite pour toutes les adresses des dépôts.

En tout cas, je suis content pour toi que cela ait fonctionné Lily-9, bonne continuation sur Gnu/Linux

SI TU PENSES QUE TON PROBLÈME EST SOLUTIONNÉ, AJOUTES [RÉSOLU] DANS LE TITRE DE TON PREMIER POST, CELA POURRA AIDER D'AUTRES UBUNTEROS QUI ONT LE MÊME PROBLÈME QUE TOI.
