Probleme boot repair via Ubuntu
Bonjour, ayant un problème "grub rescue" au démarrage, j'ai décidé de d'installer boot repair en suivant le tutoriel, j'ai donc crée une Live USB afin d'installer Ubuntu, tout ce passe bien, Boot Repair se lance et termine sa réparation. Malheureusement au moment du redémarrage, mon problème est encore présent et je suis toujours bloqué au fameux "grub rescue". Ton installation est mauvaise : Windows 7 est installé en mode EFI aussi tu dois installer Ubuntu en mode EFI également comme indiqué dans la doc 2.1 Cas où il faut installer Ubuntu en mode EFI : "si les autres systèmes (Windows Vista/7/8, GNU/Linux…) de votre ordinateur sont installés en mode EFI, alors il faut installer Ubuntu en mode EFI"
Pour installer Ubuntu en mode EFI, il est indispensable d'avoir une version 64 bits de Ubuntu sur la LiveUSB et ce n'est pas ce que tu as comme on peut voir dans cet extrait :

En effet mon problème n'était pas résolu, j'ai donc installé la version 64 bits d'Ubuntu EFI sur ma liveUSB comme demandé, malgré le message de succès de boot repair, le problème reste le même , http://paste.ubuntu.com/9754359/, désolé si je suis une quiche, je ne le fais vraiment pas expres, merci pour l'aide que vous m'avez déjà apporté.

On y voit que tu as remanié un peu ton partitionnement (la partition sda5 qui était en format EXT4 a changé de format et est devenu NTFS). Je te suggère le plan d'action suivant :
Tu lances l'installation de Ubuntu 14.04.1 en mode EFI (pour cela, il faudra que tu démarres l'ordi sur la LiveUSB en mode EFI comme tu l'as fait pour faire le dernier Boot-Info) et à l'étape 3 de l'installation, tu choisiras "Autre chose". Tu devras alors créer une partition EXT4 dans la zone actuellement non allouée qui se trouve entre sda4 et sda5 qui sera ta partition racine. Tu feras un double-clic sur la zone non allouée et tu devras renseigner tout ce qui t'est demandé en t'inspirant de cette vue : http://www.hostingpics.net/viewer.php?i … 150119.png
Vérifie que tout l'espace non-alloué qui se trouve entre sda4 et sda5 sera bien occupé par la nouvelle partition qui va être créée (ne laisse pas de trou). Tu n'auras que cette partition à créer, tu n'as rien à faire s'agissant de la partition swap, rien à faire pour la partition EFI et rien à sélectionner dans le champ "Périphérique où sera installé le programme de démarrage" qu'on peut voir en bas de la fenêtre de l'installateur (tu laisses ce qu'il y a : quelque soit la sélection, ce champ n'est pas utilisé par l'installateur). Tu n'as rien à toucher, rien à définir pour la partition sda5 : cette partition au format NTFS sera utilisée comme partition de partage de données avec Windows, tu t'occuperas de son cas après l'installation (tu utiliseras ntfs-config). Je répète : à l'étape 3 de l'install, tu ne touches à aucune autre partition que la partition que tu vas créer : tu t'occupes d'elle et seulement d'elle et ensuite tu auras juste à cliquer sur le bouton "Installer maintenant" en bas à droite de la fenêtre et l'installation va démarrer.

Après avoir accompli votre méthode, j'essaye d'installé Boot repair, mais j'ai ce message d'erreur : "Cannot add PPA: 'ppa:yannubuntu/boot-repair'.
Please check that the PPA name or format is correct."
J'ai eu beau chercher sur Internet et tester toutes les solutions disponibles, elles fonctionnent pour les autres mais pas pour moi .

Supergrub2 ne répare pas, mais il te permet de prendre toutes les entrées qui sont susceptibles de booter. tu les essaies une par une, et dans l'ensemble, ill y en a un certain nombre capable de booter.

Par exemple, vous pouvez démarrer Windows, puis saisir la commande suivante dans une invite de commande en mode administrateur :
bcdedit /set {bootmgr} path \EFI\ubuntu\shimx64.efi
Ton installation de Ubuntu semble parfaite mais ça me parait effectivement bizarre du côté du démarrage. On voit dans ce dernier Boot-Info qu'il a été réalisé depuis une session du Ubuntu installé ; c'est écrit noir sur blanc dans cet extrait :
boot-repair is executed in installed-session (Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS, trusty, Ubuntu, x86_64)
Puisque tu arrives à démarrer sur ton Ubuntu installé, je te prie de détailler comment tu fais pour y arriver.
D'autre part, je te prie de donner le nom complet du modèle de ton ordi et son fabricant.

Au démarrage je reste appuyer sur Echap pour accéder au menu, puis f9 pour "boot device option", puis "Boot from EFI file", je sélectionne le fichier Acpi (le seul fichier présent), EFI > Ubuntu, 3 choix s'offre alors à moi, sois MokManager.efi / grubx64.efi / shimx64.efi, j'ai choisis grubx64.efi, l'interface de grub 2 apparaît et me demande avec quel système je désire booter, je boot Ubuntu.
Je possède un HP EliteBook 840 G1.

N'essaie pas de faire le malin : passe bien l'invite de commande sous Windows 8 comme elle est proposée dans la solution kokotx :
bcdedit /set {bootmgr} path \EFI\ubuntu\shimx64.efi
C'est seulement s'il s'avérait que cette solution ne fonctionne pas que tu pourras essayer de remplacer shimx64.efi par grubx64.efi à la fin de l'invite de commande.

C'est vrai qu'on a surtout l'occasion d'appliquer cette solution dans le cas de Windows 8 : Si ça n'aboutit pas avec Windows 7, il suffira de rétablir l'état initial. J'ai essayé la méthode de kokotx, lorsque je rentre la commande "bcdedit /set {bootmgr} path \EFI\ubuntu\shimx64.efi", Windows me dit que l'opération à réussi, au redémarrage, toujours le même problème, j'essaye avec "bcdedit /set {bootmgr} path \EFI\ubuntu\grubx64.efi" même message mais toujours même problème. Exactement la même chose pour "bcdedit /set {bootmgr} path \EFI\Microsoft\Boot\bootmgfw.efi", le pc est bon pour la casse je pense.

Une question : ton modèle d'ordi HP EliteBook 840 G1 était bien livré avec Windows 8.1 n'est-ce pas ?
D'autre part, si ton PC fonctionne bien sous Windows 7, je ne vois pas pourquoi il serait bon pour la casse. On a des difficultés pour faire Booter l'ordi sur Ubuntu mais il y a certainement un moyen.

Est-ce que tu serais prêt à réinstaller Windows 7 en mode non-EFI ? Si oui, tu pourrais installer Ubuntu en mode non-EFI également (puisque je t'ai déjà expliqué dans le post #3 qu'il faut installer les deux OS dans le même mode). Je pense que tu devrais obtenir plus facilement un gestion du dual-boot par Grub avec menu Grub au démarrage.

Tant que mon ordinateur redevient fonctionnel, je suis prête a tout. Tu demandes d'installer Windows 7 en mode non EFI, je ne vois pas comment faire, pareil pour Ubuntu, je dois chercher sur internet des versions non-EFI ? Je dois avouer que je suis un peu perdue.

Windows 7 64 bits et Ubuntu 64 bits sont tous les deux capables d'installer en version EFI ou en version non-EFI. Pour que tous les deux acceptent de s'installer en mode non-EFI, il suffit que tu passes le "Boot mode" en Legacy (au lieu de UEFI) dans le Bios(*). Cela étant fait, je pense que si tu demandes à l'installateur de Win7 d'effacer tout le disque et de s'installer sur tout le disque, il devrait savoir te faire une install automatique en mode non-EFI. Si ce n'était pas le cas, je t'indiquerai d'autres choses. Pour être certain qu'il ne restera pas de traces (voir EDIT) du partitionnement GPT actuel, je te recommande de créer une nouvelle table de partition MSDOS (au lieu de la table de partition GPT actuelle). Tu feras cela avec l'éditeur de partition Gparted depuis une session live de Ubuntu : c'est la fonction Création d'une nouvelle table de partitions de Gparted. Si tu décides de le faire, il faut auparavant sauvegarder sur disque dur externe les docs précieux qui peuvent se trouver sur ton disque puisque tout le disque sera écrasé par l'install de Windows 7. la création d'une nouvelle table de partition effacera tout ce qu'il y a actuellement sur le disque. Ensuite, tu pourras laisser l'installateur de Windows 7 faire une installation sur tout le disque en créant lui-même ses partitions, vérifier que ça marche puis commencer la préparation de l'install en dual-boot de Ubuntu (doc cohabitation --> 2. Faire de la place pour Ubuntu)

EDIT : j'ai rayé ma proposition initiale parce que je me suis rappelé que dans le cas de Windows 8, il est très important de créer une nouvelle table de partition avant l'installation sinon il reste des traces très gênantes (voir ici). On peut créer cette table avec diskpart avec l'installateur de Windows 7 mais moi je préfère te proposer de le faire avec Gparted.

Plutôt que faire ce que je propose dans mes post #21 et #23, il serait sans doute préférable de s'inspirer de cette page du site archlinux.org qui ne concerne peut-être pas exactement ton modèle mais en tout cas la "famille" HP EliteBook 840 G1 : https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/HP … ook_840_G1
C'est le paragraphe "Using the "Customized Boot" path option (recommended)" qui est à considérer (voir EDIT) : elle explique que ton "Bios" doit te donner la possibilité de créer une entrée personnalisée de boot et que tu peux mettre cette entrée en priorité de démarrage. En somme, au lieu de te contenter de la fonctionnalité que tu as décrite dans ton post #14 qui te permet de booter "à la volée" sur un fichier .efi particulier, il faut que tu arrives à réaliser que ce démarrage sur ce fichier soit enregistré "en dur" dans ton "Bios". Moi, je ne sais pas te décrire comment faire parce que je ne connais pas tout ça en détail mais le fait que la page archlinux mentionne cette solution comme "recommandée", c'est que c'est forcément faisable. Cherche comment faire et demande de l'aide au besoin sur un forum HP.
