vista pack1 + ubuntu 14.04
brusque plantage au boot
ecran noir
avec message :

error : no such partition
Entering rescue mode ...
grub rescue>

que faire ?

Essaie de démarrer avec un live-cd d'ubuntu et d'installer/utliser bootrepair comme indiqué dans la documentation ici http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/boot-repair#in … _de_ubuntu

j'ai fait le 1.2 avec live-ubuntu : ne change rien
puis le 1.1 (boot-repair) : a restauré le démarrage sur vista
c'est déjà ça
mais il n'y a plus grub
comment réinstaller grub ?
ou easybsd ?
nota 1: j'ai un peu peur de easybsd car précédemment ça m'avait tout planté
nota 2 : j'ai déjà eu beaucoup de problèmes de ce genre
je pense que les mises à jour automatiques de vista plantent le grub
ou alors que c'est un problème matériel aléatoire, d'ailleurs le connecteur du DD est très lâche
j'ai mis du carton pour le fixer mieux
et dans ce cas je me résoudrais à jeter le vaio

Ce que je vois de ton disque me rend pessimiste..

Il a prévu de booter par le grub et non par windows.

Mais il faudrait une partition qui contienne ubuntu et il n'y en a pas, On ne trouve que le swap.

La cause, je ne la connais pas. je ne vois que la piste destruction volontaire de la partition via gparted d'une clé usb ce qui ne doit pas être le cas.
Ce que tu peux faire
Si tu as le CD d'installation de windows, tu peux réparer pour booter sur windows c'est une commande du style FIXMBR FIXBOOT
Si tu as besoin de récupérrer des données ubuntu, On peut tenter d'en récupérer avec TESTDISK. Cela va prendre du temps
Sinon, tu refais une installation de ubuntu.
De plus comme le swap est indiqué comme étant SOLARIS, je ne suis pas sur que le disque contenait ubuntu.

En lisant tout cela, Je pense que tu utilises WUBI, qui a comme principe de faire fonctionner ubuntu dans WINDOWS,
Cette solution n'est plus supportée avec ubuntu 14.04, bien que cela ne soit pas indiqué dans la doc . C'est donc peut-être une mise à jour de ubuntu qui a mis la zizanie qu'on voit.
Tu devrais probablement revenir à quelque chose de classique.

Dans ce contexte, tu devrais remettre le MBR de windows 7
La procédure resemble à cela

Depuis le CD d'install de Windows 2000 ou de Windows XP
Insérer votre CD d'installation et démarrer (ou redémarrer) votre PC pour booter dessus.
Une fois le menu d'install de votre Windows à l'écran choisissez l'option "Réparer une installation de Windows" en appuyant sur R.
Ensuite utilisez la méthode de réparation manuelle par la console en appuyant sur C.
Une fois la console à l'écran, choisissez le système Windows d'où vous désirez travailler (par défaut 1) , tapez ensuite votre mot de passe administrateur (si vous n'en avez pas ne tapez rien puis valider par "Entrée") , et pour finir taper :
fixmbr
Tapez "Exit" pour quitter.
Redémarrer votre PC.

Mais comme en même temps tu évoques EASYBCD qui est utilisé pour une vraie installation en DUAL boot,, j'en reviens à une perte de la partition /

donc j'apprends que le boot est sur la partition vista
une question : où s'installe normalement grub ?
est ce normal alors que j'ai installé ubuntu après vista
"à côté" de vista et non "dans" vista
je pense que la partition ubuntu est sda3
le nombre de secteurs correspond (je devais avoir 120Go sur vista et 90 Go sur ubuntu)
dans le grub il y avait aussi un démarrage possible sur ubuntu en version recovery

je n'ai pas besoin de récupérer de données sur ubuntu
puisque l'installation date de 2 jours et j'ai tout par ailleurs, notamment sur un ordi fixe ( qui est aussi en dual boot")
mais je souhaite ne pas réinstaller ubuntu pour la nieme fois

j'avais eu un bug hier : mises à jour impossibles + pas de wifi + firefox en anglais
j'avais fait : sudo apt full-upgrade
qui avait tout réparé (j'étais content tout marchait bien !)

le vaio a un système prisonnier : je n'ai pas de dvd d'installation de vista. (bien qu'en fait j'en possède un par ailleurs dont ne me sers pas)
je dispose d'un cd dit "de restauration" qui réinstalle le vaio avec vista dans son l'état initial
et propose soit une restauration, soit une réinstallation sur la partition vista, soit une réinstallation sur tout le disque
et aussi une console
donc je pense pouvoir faire un fixmbr
actuellement je boote normalement sur vista
mais avant de faire un fixmbr une question : il y a t il un risque de foirer le boot vista ?

pm : je n'avais pas installé easybcd cette fois

Si tu peux encore booter sur vista, ne touche à rien.
Si tu n'as pas de données a récupérer, il va falloir refaire une installation.
Donc à priori c'est un dual boot. Tu dis l'avoir installé dans SDA3. C'est impossible car

/dev/sda3       304074750   488396799    92161025    5  Extended
/dev/sda5       482381824   488396799     3007488   82  Linux swap / Solaris

SDA3 est une partition étendue destinée à recevoir des partitions logiques tel que SDA5 par exemple
C'est dans cette partition que je pensais trouver SDA6 avec la directory / hors elle n'est pas présente.
Il faut donc que tu recommences l'installation, une fois de plus et tu feras un boot-info en fournissant seulement le N° d'URL qui te sera donné.
On pourra alors comparer avec ce qu'il y a maintenant. Je ne suis pas sur que le coupable soit "sudo full-ugrade"

Il y a une chose que je n'avais pas bien vue et qui expliquerait pourquoi tu peux encore booter sur vista, C'est que le boot ne se fait pas par disque SDA mais par
/dev/mmcblk0p1 F84E-1690 vfat SD
/dev/zram0 de39558c-31a9-4748-a0bb-3fe68cfea5f2 swap
/dev/zram1 6f60143c-23f3-4fcf-9d64-21a2d0d8ed45 swap

Peux-tu donner la référence exacte de ton sony viao afin que je vois ses caractéristiques, Je pense a une technique de "démarrage rapide".
Pour avancer un peu, Essayes de regarder dans le bios sur quel disque il a prévu de booter est-ce SDA.?

le bios ne précise pas sda
internal Hard Disk Drive
(ma machine a 4 ans la nappe de connexion du dvd est pétée le connecteur du DD flotte j'ai mis un bout de carton pour le maintenir)
maintenant vista a booté sur "reprise de windows" ?

Pour le moment, tu fais uniquement un boot-info sans aucune réparation.
Il est nécessaire de voir si l'installation de la partition / a bien eu lieu. Après La correction se fera en fonction du constat.

Déjà la piste du bios qui ne propose pas SDA et un élément de réflexion.
Comme tu viens de refaire ton installation, tu dois probablement te souvenir si tu avais indiqué la l'installateur de mettre la structure de boot sur SDA ou ailleurs.

Trop tôt pour le dire, bien que cela y ressemble.
Si tu as un peu de temps de libre,
Comme je pense que tu as booté avec une clé USB
Installes smartctl (au besoin fait simplement smartct, il devrait de dire le commandes à faire pour l'installer). il est dans la logithèque et fait un test:

sudo smartctl -a /dev/sda

Un élément inquiétant qu'il te faudra surveiller tous les mois

Tu as déjà 36 secteurs qui sont fichus, On peut atteindre la centaine sans inquiétude. au delà de 1000 C'est quasi certain que la panne totale approche.
Mais ils ont été réparé.
La partie grave, C'est qu'il y en a sept qui sont en attente de réparation.
En soit ce n'est pas grave, Les secteurs peuvent rester éternellement en attente de réparation car la réparation effective n'a lieu que lorsque les secteurs sont lus.
Cependant cela doit être transparent, Il peut arriver que la lecture du secteur devienne impossible et dans ce cas, il n'est jamais réparé et le fichier est considéré comme illisible.
Le gros problème est lorsque le secteur illisible est le secteur 0 car il est non déplaçable. Dans ce cas le disque devient fichu.
Je ne suis pas du tout expert dans l'analyse de ces problèmes mais je pense que l'erreur de lecture sector 392417280 devient très inquiétante car c'est obligatoirement un secteur qui participe au boot et on vient il y a 24 heures de refabriquer tout le boot en écriture.
J'en déduis, qu'il est devenu illisible seulement 24 heures après son écriture. Donc il va falloir que tu suives attentivement cette évolution.

pour info, C'est probablement facilement réparable lorsque ubuntu fonctionnera ( peut-être même en automatique).
Pas la peine de tenter de le sauver par clonezilla car il va refuser et te demander de réparer, Pour fonctionner, clonezilla exige que "Current_Pending_Sector" soit égal à ZERO !
