[RESOLU]webcam non reconnue dans le LSUSB
bonjour ,
Je viens d'acheter un portable MSI le EX600-023 tout marche a merveille sauf la Webcam,ben oui un peu comme d'hab!!
Le souci c'est que je n'ai rien avec le lsusb :

Je ne sais pas si ça peut t'aider, mais avec mon MSI M677-B3 je dois utiliser le pilote SN9Cxxx. Peut être qu'après l'avoir installé tu pourras utiliser ta webcam (par magie).
C'est quand même étonnant que lsusb ne donne rien. Et à tout hasard lspci ?

Rien non plus avec lspci. Si tu as encore windows d'installé dessus, essaye de voir ce qu'il utilise comme matériel et pilote, déjà pour obtenir le nom de la webcam.

alors j'ai pas installé Vista je suis entrain de voir aupres de MSI pour me le faire rembourser
J'ai été voir sur le site pour trouver les driver alors visiblement ma webcam c'est une "Chicony WebCam"
les drivers sont seulement dispo pour XP & Vista bien sur
apres une petite recherche sur le net la plupart des cams Chcony ont l'air plutot bien supportées reste a savoir pourquoi j'ai rien dans le lsusb

Est ce que ca pourrai marcher si je change de distrib???

Bon des news du front j'ai essayé de mettre mandriva 2008 reputée pour sa compatibilité materielle mais rien de mieux elle ne reconnait pas non plus ma ca m toujours un "lsusb" vide......

A tout hazard, vérifie s'il n'y a pas d'erreur USB dans "dmesg" ou "/var/log/message"
Et fait un recherche dans le forum, il y a dejà eu des posts à propos des webcams Chicony.

salut c'est une webcam integrée je peux pas la debranchée , c'est pour ca que c'est bizarre que elle ne soit pas detectée par lsusb....

Elle a déja marché avec windows ils ont peut étre oublié de la monter ....

J'ai que Ubuntu sur ce pc , je sais pas si elle marche sous Vista... J'espere pas qu'il l'ont pas oublié

ahahaha finalement il fallait appuyer sur un bouton nommé "P1" pour l'activer
maintenant mon lsusb donne

EDIT : en fait amsn detecte lacam je met le post en resolu
