Ajout suppression de programme

bonjour

je voudrai savoir pourquoi quand je veux installer un nouveau programme que je pouvai utiliser sous Ubuntu 6.06 Dapper Drake je ne peux pas les installer sous Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon

voici les caractéristiques de mon ordinateur
- DELL LATTITUDE D600
- Processeur : INTEL PENTIUM M 1.60 GHz

si ca se trouve il a changé de nom ou n'existe plus dans les dernières versions.

je parle de par exemple : XaoS (logiciel pour les fractales), Bluetooth Obex Server, HPLIP Toolbox (qui pourait etre utile pour mon imprimante), KmPlot et de tout un paquet de logiciel

le message est :
...nom de l'application... ne peut être installé sur votre type d'ordinateur (i386)

Soit cette application requiert des caractéristiques matérielles spéciales, soit le vendeur a décidé de ne pas prendre en charge votre type d'ordinateur.

je vois bien le fichier dans l'editeur de texte mais je n'arrive pas a le sauvegarder
