[RESOLU] reduire la partition windows10 pour dual boot

Bonjour,
J'ai un ordinateur tout neuf... Lenovo Yoga 500, 14IBD
et je souhaite installer ubuntu en dual boot avec windows 10.
Ca fait quelques jours que je parcours la documentation pour compendre et bien faire les choses.

Mon problème c'est que je ne peux pas diminuer la partition de windows autant que je veux. Elle passe de 885 Go à 447 Go par l'utilitaire de windows 10.
L'ordinateur est neuf, aucune donnée, j'ai simplement installer firefox et skype.
Qu'est ce que je peux faire pour gagner des Go?

Suite de mon raisonnement...

De cette partition, je voudrais modifier pour avoir
2 Go swap                (j'ai 8Go de RAM... faut il que je mette 8Go pour la swap?)
20 Go /                      pour ubuntu
100 Go                      pour windows
700 Go /data             pour mes données partagé entre ubuntu et windows
+ 4 partitions déjà précréer que je pense qu'il ne faut pas toucher : uefi, 2 partitions de récuparation, partition OEM


2ème question simple : Faut il que je definisse un point de montage pour la partition de windows et de data?
si oui, je mets simplement /media/windows et /media/data (dans mon installation précédente, je n'en n'avais pas mis, et je voyais mes partitions comme disque... ) Je cherche à faire la chose la plus fonctionnelle....

Derniere question
Dans la page d'aide UEFI UEFI il faut "Dans le BIOS, désactiver le QuickBoot (parfois appelé FastBoot)1) et Intel Smart Response Technology (SRT)"
Je ne trouve pas cette option dans le bios!
Mais j'ai déjà booter avec une live-USB et ubuntu démarre bien...
Est ce que je dois cherché cette option ou je laisse comme ca?

EDIT 1 : s'agissant de "Intel Smart Response Technology (SRT)", je n'en suis pas absolument certain mais à l'examen de la doc de ton modèle, je crois qu'il n'est pas équipé de cette technologie. Donc je pense que la mention "Dans le BIOS, désactiver le QuickBoot (parfois appelé FastBoot)1) et Intel Smart Response Technology (SRT)" ne te concerne pas.

EDIT 2 : pour le point de montage des partitions NTFS, je te suggère de ne pas t'en occuper pendant l'installation : tu peux le faire après installation avec l'aide de ntfs-config . Par contre, il faudra que tu crées toutes tes partitions AVANT l'installation avec Gparted depuis la session live de Ubuntu. C'est à cette occasion que tu créeras la partition commune de stockage DATA. Donne-lui bien le label (l'étiquette) DATA : tu verras que ça donnera un résultat impeccable avec ntfs-config (quand on ne donne pas de label à l'avance, c'est crado)

Malbo t'a donné pas mal d'indications pour éliminer ce qui gène.   Cela devrait te faire gagner de la place.
Comme tu disposes de windows10, tu peux regarder comment j'ai traité ce problème de réduction de taille de windows10.

Personnellement, je préfère déclarer lors de l'installation toutes les partitions que veux voir monter (à la racine, et pas sur /media/$USER/) dans la structure interne. C'est l'installateur qui crée de lui-même les points de montages et les entrées de fstab et ainsi, pas de problème d'accès, de droit d'écriture refusé ou de propriété des partitions.

Plus de 50 ans d'informatique, ça en fait des lignes de commandes en console, mais on n'avait pas le choix...
Excellente raison pour, aujourd'hui qu'on le peut, utiliser au maximum les INTERFACES GRAPHIQUES !
Important : Une fois le problème solutionné, pensez à clore votre sujet en ajoutant [Résolu] devant le titre du 1er message, et un bref récapitulatif de la solution à la fin de celui-ci. Merci.

En désactivant la protection du système j'ai pu réduire pas partition windows 10 autant que je voulais.

Je pensais faire mes partitions linux au moment de l'installation, en choisissant "autre chose" à l'étape 3 de cette page

Ce n'est pas une bonne solution? Ca me parait plus compliquer de le faire par Gparted, créer une clé live-Gparted... et quelle option choisir à cette étape "etc...
Je me trompe?

Pendant l'installation, tu ne pourras pas créer de partition NTFS parce que l'installateur ne sait pas le faire. C'est pourquoi il est nécesssaire de le faire AVANT install avec Gparted. Tant que tu y seras, autant créer les autres partitions en même temps.

Alors, est ce que gparted est disponible à partir d'une usb live?
ai-je le droit d'installer des paquets en démarrant avec une live usb?

et après je pourrais prendre simplement "installer ubuntu a coté des autres"... il reperera tout seul la partition "/" et la swap?

Ce n'est pas la peine de créer un "live-Gparted", Gparted est contenu dans le live-DVD d'installation d'Ubuntu.
Comme l'a dit malbo, il suffit de lancer la session "live" (essayer Ubuntu...) pour avoir accès à Gparted, puis à l'installateur...

Déjà, je déconseille W$10, ça n'apporte que des problèmes par rapport à 8.1. Mais bon, ce qui est fait est fait, et donc intuitivement, pour réduire la partition de Windows et avant toute chose, je tenterais une défragmentation avec optimisation (le + important). C'est, il me semble, en plus, ce que conseille la doc.
Un filon: Auslogics DiskDefrags ou Piriform Deffraggler font  ça très bien, bien mieux que Windows et son utilitaire embarqué.

J'ai pas suivi toute la discussion donc je sais pas si c'est ce que vous suggériez de faire mais attention avec Gparted, il ne faut pas toucher à Windows avec. Il y a certains fichiers qui ne peuvent être déplacés et il faut impérativement modifier les partitions Windows dans windows, depuis windows et windows démarré.

Bonjour Romuald.
Windows10 ce n'est pas comme windows8 comme tu le dit si bien. Il est souvent installé en EFI.... A ce titre il n'a pas besoin de MBR pour être mis en route.
Contrairement à ce que tu penses, la partition qui l'héberge semble être rétrécissable par le GPARTED installé dans une live USB. Il suffit de ne pas oublier le conseil que donne le GPARTED. Prendre les précautions nécessaires à l'opération... (sauvetage de la partition).
Dans ce forum, je n'ai pas trouvé trace d'une opération de rétrécissement de windows10 foirée via le GPARTED.... Dans l'attente du cas qui me fera changer d'idée. (Voir ma réponse en N° 4)
Cela m'a permit d'avoir un windows10 fonctionnel avec 18,2 Gio d'espace occupés. Probablement avec le fichier hiberfile.sys présent.

Ubuntu est installé!
Grub se lance bien, et ubuntu aussi.

Par contre, petit soucis... dans grub, je n'ai pas de choix de "windows 10".
J'ai "windows boot manager"... qui renvoie un écran noir avec une erreur 

/EndEntire
filepath : / ....................................tout un tas de truc............. /EndEntire
erreur : cannot load image

et le plus surprenant, c'est que si je passe par le bios et le choix du boot,
et que je choisis "windows boot manager", windows se lance et fonctionne bien...

Ca ne doit pas etre bien grave, juste un petit lien que Grub ne fais pas comme il faut... Une idée pour améliorer ca?
(Il faut peut etre que je crée un autre suje?)

Non ce n'est pas la peine, Fais juste un boot-info https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/tutoriel/boot-info
et transmets l'URL qui sera générée.

En EFI, Le grub ne te proposera que le chargeur de windows et c'est lui qui te proposera les différents windows lorsque tu en auras plusieurs

Je pense que Lenovo t'a conseillé de mettre cette partition

aussi sur un autre support pour disposer d'une nouvelle installation de windows lorsque ton disque sera usé ou que tu voudras installer un second windows10 sur un ssd.

Probleme résolu...
J'ai déactivé le secure boot dans le bios.
Ca fonctionne partaitement!

Du coup, pour l'installation en dual boot, (en plus des choses expliquées sur la doc)
j'ai desactivé le secure boot
Pour faire fonctionner le wifi, j'ai mis la ligne de commande trouvé ici
dans la ligne pour Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro 1370
Ubuntu s'installe bien en uefi
L'entrée dans le bios se fait pas un petit bouton caché (besoin d'un trombone!) à coté du bouton d'alimentation générale.

Si tu veux, je te laisse ajouter cette référence de portable dans la doc
Lenovo Yoga 500, 14IBD préinstaller windows 10.

Chez moi, j'ai exactement une ligne comme ça - avec le point de montage /media/data - et ça marche très bien. Je ne vois pas du tout l'intérêt d'avoir adopté le point de montage /data

Pour ta question sur "Secure Boot", je t'invite à consulter le paragraphe "4.3 Lancement sécurisé (secure boot)" de la page Wikipedia sur UEFI. Si tu as un point que tu ne comprends pas là-dedans, je peux peut-être y répondre.

Ce n'est pas la peine de demander qu'il soit supprimé d'internet : je l'ai réexaminé (au cas où) mais je te garantis qu'il n'y a rien de confidentiel dans ton Boot-Info.

S'agissant de la corbeille de la partition data, pour moi c'est normal que la corbeille ne fonctionne pas pour une partition commune à Windows et Ubuntu. Si tu supprimes quelque chose dans une partition commune, il faut que ce soit une suppression définitive. Moi je procède comme ça chez moi.

En mettant, la partition de données directement sous /    elle apparaît immédiatement au même niveau que les répertoires importants de ubuntu,  Cela fait juste un gain de niveau en présentation et pour y accéder  .....

J'ai constaté que l'hébergeur élimine les boot-infos agés ( Plus de 6 mois d'age , 1 ans ? lorsqu'il manque d'espace ? Lorsque le fichier n'a plus été accédé depuis un certain temps ?)


Je crois tout simplement que  ubuntu ne sait  pas gérer une corbeille dans une partition NTFS car elle devrait être à la norme de la corbeille de windows...
A ce niveau ubuntu n'a pas moyen de savoir que windows est présent dans la machine et ne sait donc pas que la partition est commune.
Lorsque tu supprimes un fichier, c'est irrévocable. D'ailleurs c'est pareil avec windows lorsque le fichier a une  certaine taille et ne tient pas dans la "corbeille" ou que celle-ci est pleine...

Sur mon ancien pc, ma partition commune data a une corbeille qui fonctionne bien... et pour moi, même si ce que je supprime est souvent définitif, il m'arrive de temps à autre d'aller faire un tour dans la corbeille et faire un restaur!!! du coup, il faut vraiment que je fasse fonctionner celle ci!

Le point de montage... je ne sais pas pourquoi je ne l'ai pas laisser dans /media...
Pour faire plus simple... enfin, c'est facile de rectifier!

Je viens d'ajouter ton modèle Lenovo Yoga 500-14IBD dans la Liste des portables « Lenovo »
Pour ton souhait de corbeille pour la partition commune, je te suggère de créer une nouvelle discussion spécialement sur ce sujet dans la rubrique "Autres logiciels et problèmes généraux" (c'est la rubrique pour les pb qu'on ne sait pas classer dans les autres rubriques). Mais je confirme ce que j'ai écrit plus haut : à mon avis, il ne faut pas chercher à utiliser de corbeille pour une partition commune.
