Erreur mise à jour Xenial

Bonsoir la communauté,

J'ai un message d'erreur du logiciel de mise à jour qui me dit "the update information is outdated".

Si je lance un sudo apt update dans la console, j'obtiens ce qui suit:

Voyez cette page de la doc : https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/probleme_apt

Vous pourriez tenter :

sudo rm -r /var/lib/apt/lists

...suivi de :

sudo mkdir -p /var/lib/apt/lists/partial

...et enfin d'un :

sudo apt update

...la commande " update " sera probablement beaucoup plus lente cette fois, attendez que le terminal vous rende la main.

Si dans le retour de la dernière commande vous avez un message du genre : " AppStream cache update completed, but some metadata was ignored due to errors ", vous devrez l'ignorer: il semblerait que cela concerne un bug déjà signalé sur launchpad : https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour … ug/1575248.
Chez-moi, si je repasse la commande " sudo apt update " une deuxième fois, ce message n'apparaît pas.

J'ai déjà tenté, ayant repéré le topic, mais la console affiche, après la première manip:

rm: impossible de supprimer '/var/lib/apt/lists': Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type

Si le dossier /var/lib/apt/lists est déjà supprimé, essayez les deux commandes suivantes :

sudo mkdir -p /var/lib/apt/lists/partial && sudo apt update

Et postez le retour complet de la commande " update ", si possible.

Pour la commande update, le retour complet est dans le premier post.
Pour la première commande, ça ne donne absolument rien (ça me renvoie direct à la ligne de commande)

Il est normal que la première commande ne donne pas de retour dans le terminal: elle sert à recréer les dossiers " lists" et " /lists/partial " précédemment détruits dans " /var/lib/ ".
Si le terminal est muet après la commande " mkdir -p ...", c'est que tout s'est bien passé, donc pas de message d'erreurs. Une fois les dossiers recréés, on y télécharge les diverses listes de logiciels à l'aide de :

sudo apt update

.
Votre premier retour de " sudo apt update " n'est alors plus pertinent, c'est pourquoi je vous en ai demandé un second.

sudo apt update

J'ai refait 

sudo rm -r /var/lib/apt/lists

Pas de message d'erreur cette fois.

Puis:

sudo mkdir -p /var/lib/apt/lists/partial

Et enfin

sudo apt update

Ce qui me donne le résultat ci-dessus.

Ai-je loupé une étape?

Vous n'avez pas loupé d'étapes.
Est-ce que le contenu de /var/lib/apt/list s'est recréé ?
Par exemple, je vous donne les premières lignes du contenu de ce dossier, chez-moi:

Le but des manips précédentes étant de recréer le contenu de ce dossier.

Si votre /var/lib/apt/list est bien repeuplé, et que vous avez toujours les mêmes erreurs lors des mises à jour, il se peut que vos clés d'authentification soient corrompues.

Vérifiez :

sudo apt-key list

Vous pourriez tenter d'ouvrir "Logiciels & mises à jour", puis en bas à droite dans l'onglet "Authentification", faire "Restaurer les clés par défaut".
Ensuite tenter les mises à jour de nouveau.

A mon avis le problème vient bien du /var/lib/apt/list : le contenu m'affiche

total 4

J'ai tenté de restaurer les clés par défaut sans succès, toujours le même message d'erreur sur la mise à jour.

Passez :

sudo rm /var/lib/apt/list/lock

...puis retentez :

sudo apt update

...Sinon, tentez les mises à jour en mode graphique via le "Gestionaire de mises à jour", histoire de voir ce qui se passerait....?

Du coup, fatalement, même message que précédemment sur l'update.

J'ai lancé le gestionnaire de mise à jour: il me trouve toute une liste de mises à jour, mais il m'avertit:
"Cela nécessite l'installation de paquets depuis des sources non authentifiées."
Si je clique malgré tout sur "valider" ça me ferme purement et simplement le gestionnaire de mise à jour.

J'essaye via le gestionnaire de paquets synaptic...

fonctionne bien, par contre derrière le sudo update ressort toujours le même message:

Vous pourriez tenter de renommer le fichier " trusted.gpg ", et ensuite de relancer encore une tentative de mise à jour, histoire de voir si ce fichier se recréera différemment...:

sudo mv /etc/apt/trusted.gpg /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.old

Pour revenir à l'état précédent, si ça ne marche pas :

sudo mv /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.old /etc/apt/trusted.gpg

Se pourrait-il que votre fichier /etc/apt/sources.list soit mal formé...?
Je tenterais de recréer un fichier " sources.list  ", mais à partir de l'application " Gestionnaire de mises à jour ", et peut-être aussi de changer de serveur de mises à jour...?

Une chose me semble certaine, vous n'arriverez à rien tant que votre dossier  " /var/lib/apt/lists " ne sera pas régénéré.
Il y a fort probablement quelque chose qui cloche dans " /etc/apt/trusted.gpg ".

Désolé de ne pouvoir vous éclairer de meilleure façon...

Au cas où vous seriez toujours bloqué, peut-être une autre piste à suivre : 

sudo apt install --reinstall ubuntu-keyring

...suivi de :

sudo apt-key update

...et ensuite une autre tentative de mises à jour...?

Tenté mais sans succès. sudo apt udate donne toujours le même résultat, par contre le gestionnaire de mise à jour n'affiche plus d'erreur et estime que tout va bien dans le meilleur des mondes. Je vais laisser comme ça pour le moment. Merci pour votre aide!

Toujours le même problème, et le message d'erreur revient.

Synaptic me dit:

E: Impossible de corriger les problèmes, des paquets défectueux sont en mode « garder en l'état ».
E: Erreur, pkgProblem::Resolve a généré des ruptures, ce qui a pu être causé par les paquets devant être gardés en l'état.

J'ai tenté un sudo apt-get autoremove --purge

J'obtiens

0 mis à jour, 0 nouvellement installés, 0 à enlever et 23 non mis à jour

Le sudo apt install --reinstall ubuntu-keyring me donne:

...Il semble que vous ayez des paquets "cassés".

En premier, vérifiez bien la validité de votre fichier " /etc/apt/sources.list " ainsi que de tous les fichiers dans " /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ "

Ensuite le retour de :

sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade

devrait vous donner la liste des paquets causant problème.

Peut-être tenter : 

sudo dpkg --configure -a

...suivi de :

sudo apt -f install

Vous pouvez aussi utiliser synaptic pour voir l'état des paquets: https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/synaptic

Une commande telle que :

dpkg -l | grep -v '^ii'

...devrait aussi retourner la liste des paquets qui ne sont pas complètement installés ( ignorez les paquets dont la ligne débute par " rc " ou " un "; ils ne causent pas de problèmes.)

Si je tape /etc/apt/sources.list
le système me retourne:

sudo apt -f install me retourne:

(Au moins c'est cohérent, hein...)

Le souci se situe au niveau des "paquets installés pouvant être mis à jour" au nombre de 3:

linux-image-generic
linux-headers-generic
linux-generic

Si je les sélectionne pour mise à jour, synaptic me dit "vous allez installer un logiciel qui ne peut être authentifié, c'est dangereux"
Je passe outre en cochant "appliquer" et là, l'application se ferme sauvagement avec retour à la case départ.

Dernier point 

dpkg -l | grep -v '^ii'

ne retourne pas d'erreur.

Donnez le retour complet de :

sudo apt update

...et de :

sudo apt full-upgrade

Ensuite pour les sources :

cat /etc/apt/sources.list
ls -l  /etc/apt/sources.list.d
cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/*.list

Avez-vous tenté :

sudo dpkg --configure -a

Je vous propose ceci dans le but de reconstruire vos listes :

On fait une sauvegarde de vos sources :

sudo cp /etc/apt/sources.list /etc/apt/sources.list.original

Puis on recrée un fichier " sources.list " propre :
Pour ce faire, il faut remplacer le contenu actuel de " /etc/apt/sources.list " par ceci :

On ouvre " sources.list " en administrateur avec l'éditeur de texte " gedit ":
Note: si gksudo non installé, faire :

sudo apt install gksu

...ensuite :

gksudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

dans la fenêtre qui s'ouvre, sélectionnez tout et effacez, puis collez-y le contenu complet de ce qui se trouve dans la fenêtre ci-haut. (les lignes importantes sont celles qui ne débutent pas par le caractère " # ").

Enregistrez puis fermez le nouveau fichier " sources.list "

Ensuite, effacez tout ce qui se trouve dans " /etc/apt/sources.list.d " :

sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/*

Retentez  une nouvelle mise à jour.

EDIT: Si vous avez encore des erreurs lors de cette tentative de mises à jour, essayez :

sudo rm /var/lib/apt/lists/*

...suivi de :

sudo rm /var/lib/apt/lists/partial/*

...avant d'essayer une autre mise à jour.
