Migration de ubuntu 14.04 à 16.04 : support pour ar928x, BCM57780
Bonjour,
j'ai réalisé la migration d'ubuntu 14.04 vers 16.04 et avec les noyaux 4.8.0-* je n'ai plus d'accès réseau. Il semblerait que les cartes wifi AR928X, ethernet BCM57780 ne soit pas reconnues, et la carte graphique ati mobility radeon 5470 pas bien supportée.
Avec le noyau 3.13.0-116-generic ça passe mais comment faire autrement que de rester à ce noyau pendant les années à venir ? (à part changer de matériel je veux dire !)

Essaie avec la 1604.01 c'est un noyau 4.4 et qui sait?

La version 14.04, trusty est supportée jusqu'en avril 2019. tu avais deux ans de répit.
Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (nom de code : The Trusty Tahr, le tahr sûr) est la vingtième version d'Ubuntu. Son développement a débuté en octobre 2013 et s'est échelonné sur une période de six mois. La version stable, finale d'Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS (long term support = support disponible pendant une longue durée) est sortie le 17 avril 2014 et sera supportée jusqu'en avril 2019

C'est fait. Mais je ne vois pas de différence avec avant en termes de fonctionnalités (pas de réseau).

avec 4.8.0-46-generic :

ERREUR en récupérant les signaux de l'interface: Aucun périphérique de ce type

Cannot find device "eth0"avec 3.13.0-116-generic :

RTNETLINK answers: File existsEst-ce qu'on est d'accord sur le diagnostic : avec 3.13.0-116-generic j'ai tous les modules qui permettent de faire fonctionner la carte ethernet, le wifi et la carte graphique, tout marche correctement. Avec 4.8.0-46-generic je n'ai aucun de ces modules et il n'y a aucune chance que ça marche tant que je ne les aurai pas dénichés ?

Atheros-ar298x ne fonctionne pas avec des noyaux récents.
Tu pourrais essayer une clé wifi, en solution de secours.

Ah, bien, merci pour ce lien. Contrairement aux gens sur le lien en question je n'ai même pas de fichier ath* dans /lib/modules/4.8.0-46-generic/kernel/drivers/
Mais bon je continuerai à suivre ce post au cas où une solution émerge.
