Mise à jour Windows 10 fait planter Grub
Bonjour,
je viens de faire les dernières mises à niveau de Windows 10 et mon ordinateur ne veut plus démarrer.
Je suis en dual boot: Win 10/Ubuntu 16.4 et depuis la mise à jour, au démarrage j'ai le message suivant:
error: no such partition.
Entering rescue mode...
grub rescue> _
À partir de là que puis-je faire pour que mon ordinateur démarre à nouveau?

Bonjour,
Je suppose qu'il s'agit simplement d'un problème de renumérotation des partitions par Windows 10. Pour en avoir confirmation, je te prie de faire un Boot-Info depuis une session live de Ubuntu 16.04 et de donner l'URL de ce Boot-Info dans ta réponse. Après analyse de ce Boot-Info, je te donnerai des consignes pour réparer.

Cette mise à niveau a entraîné une catastrophe semblable à celle que tu as connue il y a 9 mois : https://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.p … #p21559736
Il faut utiliser Testdisk pour parvenir à récupérer les partitions disparues mais moi je n'aide pas à réparer avec Testdisk (c'est trop compliqué pour moi). Si tu parviens à le faire, je t'invite à refaire un Boot-Info et à en donner l'URL dans ta réponse : ça t'aidera à réparer quand ça se reproduira lors d'une future mise à niveau de Windows 10.

après le plantage d'il y a neuf mois j'avais simplement réinstallé Ubuntu à côté de Win10 croyant naïvement que
le jeu des partitions se limiterait à l'installation initiale de Win10. Malheureusement il semble que MS a ressenti
le besoin de remettre ça; même pour une simple mise à niveau (pourquoi re-modifier la table de partition que Win10
avait initialement créée?)
Donc sur cette machine que j'utilise peu (en déplacement principalement) je garderai probablement Win10 seul
et j'aurai toujours sous la main une clé Ubuntu Live pour les en-cas. Sur mon ordinateur de bureau Win7 et Ubuntu
cohabitent bien...

Mon interprétation : la taille précédente de la partition sda2 (921600 octets) n'était pas suffisante pour le besoin de la mise à niveau récente de Windows 10 que tu as réalisée. Du coup, le système qui a fait la mise à niveau a refait le partitionnement pour passer à une taille supérieure (1611776 octets) pour sda2.
Je pense que si tu te contentais aujourd'hui de réinstaller Ubuntu, tu pourrais encore te retrouver avec la même catastrophe lors d'une future mise à niveau de Windows 10. Une solution serait de revoir tout le partitionnement pour ne pas laisser la partition sda5 (label "Archives Windows") en fin de partition étendue puisque c'est ça la cause du problème. Mais c'est un peu compliqué et si tu te sers peu de Ubuntu, la solution de la LiveUSB est correcte.
EDIT : une solution possible, serait de déplacer la partition sda5 pour la faire commencer au début de la partition étendue. Si c'est possible de faire ça avec la Gestion des disques de Windows, c'est ce qu'il faudrait préférer. Sinon, on peut faire ça avec Gparted depuis une session live mais à mon avis, il y a un risque que ça se passe mal et il serait impératif de faire une sauvegarde sur disque dur externe de tout ce qu'il y a actuellement sur sda5 avant de se lancer dans la manip avec Gparted.
