Xorg.conf !!!! que fais-je ???
bonsoir, et merci de votre aide
Voila mon problème, je n'ai plus d'affichage correct sous Ubuntu 7.10 (Gnome). je n'y connait rien !!!
lors de l'install hier, j'avais une résolution de 1440/900 et depuis ce matin a chaque boot je suis obligé de remettre en 1024/768 qui est la seule résolution qui m'est proposé. avec l'aide de assos ARU2L j'ai édité le fichier suivant dans une console.
De plus une autre commande (dont je ne me rappelle plus) trouvé sur un forum m'a affichée 9 fichiers Xorg.conf !!!!

ACER 7520G
2048 Ram
Cg 8400m G 256Mo
Proc: Turion 64x2
2 dd
dual boot avec Vista
(tout fonctionne sous Vista.... c'est pas de la provoc):(

ajoutes
"1440x900@60" sur la ligne ce qui te donne :
ca ne marchera pas, puisqu'il n'y a pas de modeline correspondant ! ! !
suis la doc : http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/configurer_son_ecran?s=configurer%20ecran
sinon, il faut rajouter a la main le modeline. c'est indiqué dans la doc aussi...
indique nous si tu as des difficultés.

Sinon y a aussi possibilité de passer en console et de reconfigurer xorg.
CTRL+ALT+F1
on se loggue, puis,
sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
Ca permet de reconfigurer tout, clavier, souris, écran et carte graphique.
