[ Résolu] plus de windows après récupération du grub

Bonsoir, pour une raison qui m'échappe, j'ai du installer ubuntu en premier en utilisant le disque entier car je ne pouvais pas installer windows dessus malgré le formatage auparavant avec gparted.
Après l'installation d'ubuntu, j'ai installé windows, pas de problème cette fois, qui s'est accaparé le démarrage, j'ai ensuite récupérer le grub en suivant la méthode du wiki, aucuns problème.... sauf que maintenant c'est windows que je ne vois plus!!! Je sais que windows n'est pas indispensable, je partage entièrement ce point de vue, mais ce pc portable va servir pour la maison de campagne et mes enfants et mon épouse préfère windows . Voilà si quelqu'un a une idée ça me rendrait bien service. Je vous laisse réfléchir, je vais me coucher ( demain réveil 4h00), je me reconnecterais dans la journée.

Hello,
démarre sous Ubuntu, ouvre un terminal (applications>accessoires>terminal) et copie-colle ici ce que renvoient les commandes suivantes :

sudo fdisk -l
cat /boot/grub/menu.lst

Essaye ça :

sudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst

tout à la fin, tu rajoutes ça :

title		Windows
root		(hd0,1)
savedefault 
makeactive
chainloader	+1

Après, quand tu démarres, juste après le bios, tu as trois secondes pour appuyer sur echap, ce qui t'emmène au menu grub où tu peux sélectionner Windows. Si ça ne fonctionne pas, recopies le message d'erreur.

Si tu veux tomber par défaut sur grub, tu repères ces lignes :

## timeout sec
# Set a timeout, in SEC seconds, before automatically booting the default entry
# (normally the first entry defined).
timeout        3

## hiddenmenu
# Hides the menu by default (press ESC to see the menu)
hiddenmenu

et tu commentes (= tu mets un # devant) "hiddenmenu". Tu peux aussi augmenter le temps, en changeant le nombre après "timeout" (c'est le nombre de secondes).

Eh bien voilà, çà y est!!!! J'ai remplacé le 3 secondes par 8 et rajouté xp pro après windows et tout est nickel. J'ai compris le principe mais pas le fonctionnement, pourrait tu m'éclairer un peu?
Peux tu me dire ce qui n'allait pas?

Bah, le fichier que tu as édité, c'est le menu grub, c'est lui qui indique, au démarrage, quoi démarrer. Windows était pas présent, c'est tout.
