Salut tout le monde...

Déjà user d'ubuntu pour 2 autres de mes machines (un eeepc, sur eeexubuntu r3 et un desktop, les 2 en Gusty), hier soir je me décide à me lancer sur ma grosse Berta, la machine dont je me sert tout les jours.

Descriptif matèriel de ma machine :

AMD Athlon 64 X2 avec 1Go de ram
motés une MSI K9MM-V avec une nvidia GeForce 6200.
Pour le disque dux, 40Go en IDE/ATA.

Pour cela, je récupère l'image de Hardy, avec le bureau Gnome, et lance le cd-live .
Le système boot, j'atterit sur le bureau plutot rapidement (plus je me sert d'ubuntu, plus il m'etone... Pourtant ça fait quelque mois que je m'en sert wink )

Là, je m'émerveille devant l'outil Bluetooth qui reconnait ma clé (en cession live, ouhaaaa).
Je prepare mon disque, format un partition pour me laisser windows en dual boot, prevois le swap qui va bien (2Go) et lance l'install qui se déroule sans acros...

A  la fin, je relance la bécane, retire le cd et lance le systeme. Grub me propose de lancer ubuntu et affiche bien les autres options (dont Xp, en bas de la liste). Je valide pour Ubuntu et c'est parti... A l'invite, je me logue, au bout de quelques secondes sur le bureau, le système me propose d'utiliser les drivers proprio de la 6200 et me propose les maj.
En avant pour les drivers qui vont bien, on reboot et se relog à l'invite. Là, je refait un 'houuuuuaaaaaaa ! ! !' Joli les effets classiques... Vivement que je me jette dans compiz voir ce qu'il a dans le bide (les 2 autre bécanes sont un peu legères pour compiz, bien que le eeepc se défend bien).

bref, on lance les mises à jour et là ça va encore... ça télécharge, commence l'install et tout et tout. Sauf que, a moment donnée, le système se fige... la souris bouge encore, mais les clique ne serve plus à rien. Les fenètres se grises. Un petit ctrl+alt+F1, me voilà devant l'invite de log en ligne de commande. Je tape le login, valide et si je veut taper quoi que ce soit, ça apparait à l'ecran (bizare, et mon mot de passe ! ! !). Au bout de quelque seconde, il apparait les messages ci joint en photo :

Il semble que j'ai un problème avec le système de fichiers et mon disque dur.
Un reboot sauvage avec la touche reset (les touches magiques permetant d'envoyer des comandes avec la combinaison de touche alt+syst+quelques choses fonctionne ausi).

Le reboot se passe, je me logue sur le bureau et lance firefox pour chercher à comprendre ce qui c'est passer... Et rebelote.

Bon,je lance le live cd et je décide de sauvegarder les docs de windows sur la partition ou il y avait linux (que je formate avant) et decide de dire adieux à windows. L'install se déroule aussi bien qu'au 1° passe et je reboot...

et on recommence la config de la bete et les maj mais c'est toujours la même histoire....

Les drivers nvidia serai - t - il en cause??? Ou est ce une mise à jour qui provoque ce problème....??? Mon disque n'est pas mort quand meme... ! ! !

Bin voilà, si vous pouviez me trouver des piste pour rétablir le systèm et éviter qu'il ne se fige, ce serai cool... 

Travailler sur le live cd c'est bien, mais installer les logiciel qu'on utilise à chaque démarage, c'est po cool...

Salut,

Les photos que tu as mises ne servent à rien. Ce qui est intéressant, sont les textes des messages après les [xxx.xxxxx]. Il faut donc les indiquer pour que l'on puisse avoir ue idée du problème.

Il faut probablement démarrer avec une des options de secours pour corriger le problème.

Un simple clic droit->afficher l'image et il est ainsi possible de voir l'ecran en entier, firefox (ou autre) ajustant l'image à la taille de la fenètre.

Merci pour le liens, mais mon système est installé. c'est là que le bas blaisse... Le cd live fonctionne trés bien. J'accede au partition et déplace les fichier sans problème. D'ailleur, mon premier post a été envoyé depuis une cession live.

J'ai pu noter que c'est plantage arrive lors d'écriture sur le disque(peut etre une coïncidence) par exemple, téléchargement de nouvelle appli via apt-get, ou intall des logiciels...

Tout à l'heure, ça me l'a fait alors que j'etait en train de valider des parametre pour compiz...

Le titre du wiki est trompeur. En réalité ce sont des options de démarrage et non pas uniquement d'installation.

Il faudrait que tu testes ce qui suis.

Lors du démarrage de Grub (affichage de la liste des noyaux disponibles), en étant positionné sur le noyau de Hardy -ligne du haut- :

1/ appuies sur la touche "e"
2/ choisis la ligne débutant par "kernel"
3/ appuies sur la touche "e"
4/ à la fin de la ligne, supprimes "quiet splash" (pour ne plus avoir la barre qui défile mais les messages de démarrage du système)
5/ ajoutes all_generic_ide
6/ valides avec la touche "entrée"
7/ appuies sur la touche "b" pour démarrer

Si tu arrives à démarrer, il faudra modifier menu.lst pour ajouter all_generic_ide sur chaque ligne de boot.

C'est ce qui resoud le problème ou c'est pour voir ce qu'il se passe...???
Pourquoi doit on passer ce parametre au noyau pour que ça fonctionne...???


Bin oui, suis un peu currieux....

Sinon, je viens de mettre ces paramètre là, on verra bien. Au reboot, je n'ai vu aucun message d'erreur...

Tu l'as donc ajouté dans menu.lst ?

Si tu ne l'as pas encore fait, il suffit de suivre ce qui est indiqué dans le lien fournit dans le paragraphe Après l'installation.

Si c'est OK, penses à passer ton sujet en résolu.

Oui, paramètre rajouté...

Mais ça continue à dysfonctionner... Je peux me servir de la machine un certain temps (assez aléatoire, 5,10 minutes, voir plus...) mais ça continue à se figer.

J'ai remarqué qu'en laissant la machine ne rien faire (pour aller manger par exemple) en revenant, il faut rebooter. Plus d'acces au disque ou logiciel présent sur la machine. Compiz continue de fonctionner, mais c'est tout.

Pas tres pratique cette histoire... Quel log faudrai t il que je post pour vous aider à cerner le problème?

Une des log's à analyser est /var/log/dmesg.

Par contre comme elle peut être volumineuse, ne colles que la partie la plus récente. Celle de 5 à 10 dernières minutes (entre balises code).

Pour ce log, il semble que le système en crée un à chaque boot en prenant soin de renomer le précédent (en  dmsg.0) et d'archiver (en dsmg.1.gz) celui qui précède le précédent (et ainsi de suite, on pourrai aller loin comme ça).

Par contre, je viens de penser que si il s'agit d'un problème d'accés au disque, le système est incapable d'écrire ce fichier au moment du bogue.

Heuuuu, un petite précision : J'ai installé la version pour PC standard et j'utilise un processeur AMD 64 X2 dual core, alors faut peut etre que j'installe la version 64bits...

Non, je me trompe...  Au moment du dl, je ne me suis pas posé la question et j'ai pensé avoir un prosso 32bits... Si c'est ça, je suis vraiment un C.. .
Et dans ce cas, il faut refaire une install complète ou patchage est possible....

Ce n'est pas un problème. Tu peux utiliser la version standard 32 bits.

Oki Malbo, merci pour l'info.

Mais si la version 32bits est bien supporté par les prosso 64, à quoi sert la version 64???
Mon système sera plus rapide avec le noyau complilé pour l'AMD64 ou cela devient seulement interressant quand on utilise des appli 64.???

merci pour ton idée mais la machine a été monté il y a à peu pré un ans et en avril elle a fait un court sejour chez mon assembleur préféré car la carte mêre ne se lancez plus... (Assembleur préféré sad , il qui m'a quand même pris 30€ de main d'oeuvre pour me dire que tout aller bien et un simple retrait de la pile avait permis de relancer la grosse berta.... grrrr, j'aurai pu le faire ça, moi... mais les pièces était encore sous garantie)...
De plus, ma machine tournait sur windows (tout pouri et virulé comme il faut, on se refait pas) et ne se figeait pas comme ça, même tres solicitée....

Bref, tout ça pour te dire que d'un point de vue mécanique, la machine va bien...

Il ne semble pas y avoir d'erreur dans la log. De plus les lignes que tu as remarquées sont dues au fait que le système n'ai pas été arrêtée correctement

EXT3-fs: recovery complete.

Rien ne t'empêche de tester la version 64 bits afin de vérifier si cela tourne mieux.

C'est bien ce dont je me douter...

Et c'est là que le bas blesse car au moment du bug, j'utilise toujours les 'touches magiques' avec la combinaison Alt+Sysrq+b qui :

"Tente de remonter tous les systèmes de fichiers montés en lecture seule. Ceci retire le marquage « dirty flag » et évitera ainsi une vérification du système de fichiers au redémarrage".

d''après la documentation d'UBUNTU. Vraisemblablement, ce n'est pas le cas... Puisque la vérification du système de fichiers se fait quand même...

Sinon, hier soir la machine a tourné de 17h jusqu'a minuit sans provoquer un seul freeze...

Mis à part ça, quels sont les avantages de la version 64 par rapport au noyau 32bitd qui supporte les prosso 64...???

La version 64 bits est tout simplement optimisée (compilée) pour les processeurs dudit modèle. Il a aussi l'avantage de pouvoir gérer de bien plus grandes quantités de mémoire.

Oki,

donc, après lecture des docs, je conserve la version 32Bits.

Par contre, j'ai un petit peu oublié de le préciser, mais vraisemblablement le paramètre 'all_generic_ide' n'a pas l'air d'être passé au noyau.

Je m'explique :
Sans ce paramètre, au boot, juste apres le lancement de grub et avant que l'usplasch ne s'affiche, on a droit a une petit phase nous invitant à patienter, c'est normal...

Avec le paramètre 'all_generic_ide', on voit bien le petit 'please wait' mais dessous, on voit apparaitre la ligne :

root=UUID=411a521f-3780-452f-955b-22db07567c7c ro all_generic_ide quiet splash

Est-ce normal, le noyau m'indique qu'il démarre avec des paramètres peu habituelle ou tout simplement pour me dire qu'il ne comprend pas la commande...

Car avec ou sans ce paramètre, le système plante quand même... J'y ai eu droit ce soir...

Bin je viens de le retirer, (enfin, la maj du noyau l'a fait pour moi ;P ) et pas moins de 3 freeze dans la soirée... Grrrrrr

Je le remet, vu que les erreurs sont bien moins fréquentes avec...

Et vais passer le sujet en résolu (avec réserve). Il semble qu'il s'agisse d'un problème de gestion du SATA qui provoque ceci (Voir ce post).

On verra bien avec le temps...

Sinon, l'affichage du

root=UUID=411a521f-3780-452f-955b-22db07567c7c ro all_generic_ide quiet splash

est normal avant l'apparition de l'usplash?

Lorsque grub a fini de faire ce qu'il a à faire, on voit un petit plaese wait en attendant que l'usplash s'affiche...

Et bien, ça apparaît juste en dessous de ce plaese wait... On le remarque à peine puisque juste après, l'usplash s'affiche tout comme il faut...

Bon...

Marre de rebooter ma machine toutes les 5 minutes... (j'exagère à peine tongue ) Je décide d'installer la version 64 bits...

démarrage du cd live                                [ok]
Formatage du dd                                     [ok]
Installation du système                             [ok]
redémarrage sur le système installé             [ok]

et là, ça cafouille un peu... Je décide donc de passer le paramètre all_generic_ide et ça marche... Enfin, je croise les doigts, pour le moment, ça marche.

Je continue mon installation avec tout ce qui va bien... Et puis les problèmes d'incompatibilités avec l'architecture 64 bits ne sont plus que des vieux souvenirs... Pas de problème pour lire, encoder des vidéo. Firefox et le flash fonctionnent...

A part quelques plantages aléatoires, tout fonctionne... On verra bien dans le temps.
