Carte réseau Broadcom BCM4401 non reconnu

Bonjour.

Alors voila, ma carte réseau Broadcom BCM4401 n'est plus reconnu depuis ce soir (elle fonctionnait parfaitement avant sous Gutsy, Hardy, et Intrepid RC. Mais elle n'ai plus reconnu sur Intrepid stable...)

Je suis en 64 bits.

J'ai un Dell Inspiron 1520.

Comment faire pour la faire re-fonctionner ?

Elle est reconnue.

As-tu essayé de reconfigurer le réseau ? (Système -> Préférences -> Network Connection)

Oui, mais rien n'y fait...

Quand je branche mon cable, la lupiote du port RJ45 reste éteinte...

C'est comme si le driver n'était pas chargé...

(mais la carte fonctionne, je viens d'essayer en liveCD de Intrepid RC)

[EDIT] Depuis le LiveCD, le driver de ma carte réseau est "NULL(info.linux.driver)" quand je regarde les propriétés de la connexion.

Alors, en cherchant un peu, j'ai trouvé que le driver de ma carte réseau est "b44"

J'ai donc fait

C'est bien le driver qui n'arrive pas à se charger avec le dernier kernel... Mais je ne sais pas comment faire...

Pour ma part, BCM4318 (carte wifi), après installation du firmware avec le gestionnaire des pilotes de périphériques le wifi fonctionne.

J'ai essayé ta commande, chez moi ça a l'air de fonctionner.

FATAL: Error removing b44 (/lib/modules/2.6.27-7-generic/kernel/drivers/net/b44.ko): Operation not permitted
famille@famille-laptop:~$ sudo modprobe -r b44
famille@famille-laptop:~$

Le "man modprobe" c'était juste pour voir comment fonctionne la commande big_smile

-r = remove, j'enlève le module b44

Je n'ai jamais eu à installer de driver propriétaires pour faire fonctionner ma carte Ethernet.

Ma carte wifi est une Intel 4965AGN qui fonctionne avec les drivers "iwlagn".

Effectivement, quand je fais "sudo modprobe -r b44" suivi de "sudo modprobe b44" la je n'ai pas d'erreur et ma carte réseau fonctionne... hmm

Du coup j'ai rajouté ça dans mon /etc/rc.local, et ça fonctionne :

echo " * Loading wired network driver..."
modprobe -r b44
sleep 1
modprobe b44
