Connecter une carte Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG

Bonjour,

J'ai un HP Compaq nx9420 et je souhaite désespérément connecter ma carte wifi Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG sans y parvenir.
Sur cette page http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/wifi_liste_carte il est indiqué que celle-ci doit bien fonctionner, après quelques petites manip.

J'ai suivi ce tuto http://www.lostinbrittany.org/blog/2008 … -mon-wifi/ mais au moment de lancer la commande

sudo modprobe iwl3945

j'ai ce message d'erreur qui apparait:

J'ai donc opté pour ce tuto http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/wifi_intel_3945abg et là après la commande

sudo iwlist wlan0 scan

j'ai ce message

et si je crée le fichier /etc/modprobe.d/iwl3945 et que je relance

sudo modprobe iwl3945

J'ai bien compris que le fichier .conf me manque... Mais que dois-je faire exactement?

Il y a aussi une autre possibilité à priori qui est de modifier des valeurs par défaut du BIOS... Mais là je me sens pas alèse du tout (notamment pour revenir en mode graphique par la suite, ça se passe comment)

Quelqu'un a t il une idée?

J'ai le même type de carte, et j'ai eu le problème du "kill switch" avec.
Si tu as un windows installé sur la machine, redemarre, active le wifi, puis revient sur ubuntu.
Si ça ne suffit pas, poste le résultat d'un "dmesg" en console !

( Quant à ton probleme de "network is down", un petit "sudo ifconfig wlan0 up" devrait regler le problème, et nous indiquer si tu es à même de détecter des réseaux en console. )

J'ai Windows mais en virtuel et pour le moment il ne reconnait pas la carte.
Par contre dans le BIOS j'ai fait en sorte de démarrer avec le wifi activé
