Problème d'effacement de DVD-RW par Brasero

Salut !
J'ai gravé des données sur un DVD-RW neuf que j'aimerai maintenant effacer.. J'ai utilisé l'outil du menu contextuel (de Brasero je présume) en désactiavant "effacement rapide" et là, bam !
Quand j'insère mon disque en théorie vierge, il n'est pas monté, je ne êux pas le voir ni graver de nouveau dessus.
Comment faire pour faire en sorte que je puisse de nouveau utiliser ce disque ?

Salut,

En général, un dvd rw ne s'efface pas. Tu réécris simplement dessus en écrasant les données précédentes ou à la suite dans le cas d'un multi-session.

Essaie avec un autre logiciel comme k3b par exemple, disponible dans les dépots.

Effacement radical d'un CDRW ou DVD+RW

    1.Cas du CDRW
Il arrive qu'à la suite d'une gravure « foirée », Ubuntu ne veuille plus « monter » un CDRW.
Pour effacer radicalement ce disque, taper en console : cdrecord blank=all

    2.Cas des DVD réinscriptibles
      • DVD+RW
        Taper en console : dvd+rw-format -force $dev
        L’option -force- n’est nécessaire que pour un média déjà utilisé et n’est pas nécessaire pour un média neuf.
      • DVD-RW
        Pour un DVD-RW si le média n’est pas neuf utiliser -force=full

Options un peu plus « puissantes » :

dvd+rw-format -force=full -blank=full /dev/sr0

où vous remplacerez /dev/sr0 par le périphérique correspondant à votre graveur.

Tu dois pouvoir le trouver dans les messages de boot (commande dmesg).
Sinon regarde si il n'y a pas un /dev/cdrom ou un truc dans le genre, qui pointerai sur le bon device...

Effectivement, l'information pourrait se trouver dans le fichier de journal /var/log/dmesg, mais quand on ne sait pas exactement quoi chercher et où chercher, c'est un peu galère. (À mon avis. wink)

Il existe un petit outil en ligne de commande, hwinfo, qui liste l'ensemble du matériel de l'ordinateur. Très très pratique. Et dans le cas présent, il permet d'obtenir des informations très rapidement concernant un type de périphériques en particulier (les lecteurs de CD-ROM).
D'abord, il faut l'installer ; le paquet est hwinfo :

administrateur@machine:~$ sudo apt-get install hwinfo

Puis, il suffit d'exécuter la commande suivante :

administrateur@machine:~$ sudo hwinfo --cdrom

Voici un exemple de retour, dans une machine virtuelle :

La ligne Device File indique quel est le fichier de bloc qui relie vers le lecteur de CD-ROM ; dans cet exemple, c'est /dev/sr0.
La ligne Device Files indique tous les autres fichiers de bloc qui pourraient aussi être utilisés pour relier vers ce périphérique ; dans cet exemple, on retrouve /dev/block/11:0, /dev/scd0, /dev/disk/by-path/pci-0000:00:01.1-scsi-1:0:0:0, /dev/cdrom et /dev/dvd.

En fait, mon problème est que ce Dvd ne se monte pas et bien que la commande "dvd+rw-format" le détecte, elle est inopérante :

Up... Même problème, mêmes conséquences, j'en suis au même point...

Sans doute depuis la dernière mise à jour de Brasero (qui marchait très bien jusque là)... Quand j'insère un DVD+RW vierge, ou que je formate un DVD+RW, impossible de le détecter, et le lecteur-graveur semble démonté.

J'ai gravé des données sur un DVD-RW neuf que j'aimerai maintenant effacer.. J'ai utilisé l'outil du menu contextuel (de Brasero je présume) en désactiavant "effacement rapide" et là, bam !
Quand j'insère mon disque en théorie vierge, il n'est pas monté, je ne êux pas le voir ni graver de nouveau dessus.
Comment faire pour faire en sorte que je puisse de nouveau utiliser ce disque ?

Même problème pour moi.

J'ai formaté mes DVD-RW sous Windows pour les récupérer sad
Détail curieux, il faut graver un petit fichier dessus, pour qu'ensuite Ubuntu puisse les monter.


En fait, il ne faut jamais les formater avec la commande prévue dans Brasero, mais les utiliser normalement est faire le choix de l'effacement au moment de la gravure.

Les gravures en multi-sessions fonctionnent également.

bon, j'ai eu le même problême: après formatage avec brasero, mes dvd+RW sont inexploitable.
merci pour vos conseils et solutions, voila ce que j'ai essayé.

voila ce que me donne la commande :

avec un autre dvd+rw formatter aussi par brasero j'ai :
