Ubuntu 10.04 lucid lynx et carte atheros
Salux,
J'ai quitté openSUSE parce qu'en testant la 10.04 j'ai vu une très grande amélioration de la vitesse. Donc de retour et sous gnome le temps d'oublier un peu KDE et en prendre plein la vue dans quelques mois...
MAIS, j'ai un gros problème, je ne parviens pas comme c'était le cas à faire fonctionner le wifi... Le témoin est éteint et je n'ai pas de bouton pour l'activer/desactiver. c'est un vaio VGC-LA38G carte atheros 5001 si je ne dis pas de bétise.
Bref voilà ce que je peux vous donner comme info en espérant que vous pourrez m'aiguiller... Je n'en peux plus de chercher.

J'ai essayé de le compiler avant de poster mais ça n'a rien changé...

pour utiliser les carte wifi Atheros sous "Lucid" on peut utiliser "ndiswrapper" + le pilote windows correspondant a la carte.
je l utilise moi meme pour mon portable compaq nc8000qui a une carte wifi Atheros AR5001X+
(voir la doc ubuntu pour l installer)

vraiment pas besoin, utilisé plustot le module: ath5k
et installier le backports-modules
sudo apt-get install linux-backports-modules-wireless-lucid-genericet aprés il faut encore insérer le module charger, dans les blacklist
echo blacklist wlan_scan_sta | sudo tee -a /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
echo blacklist ath_pci | sudo tee -a /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
echo blacklist wlan | sudo tee -a /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
echo blacklist ath_hal | sudo tee -a /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
echo blacklist ath_rate_sample | sudo tee -a /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.confet pour finir, il faut inserer le module ath5k dans le fichier modules, pour que sa démare au boot.
echo ath5k | sudo tee -a /etc/modulesmaintenant vous redémarer vorte ordinateur, et esseyer de vous connecté sur votre réseaux wifi.
