bonsoir à tous,

debutant sous ubuntu, meme si ca fait quelque temps que je suis debian, j'aurai besoin d'aide, apres mainte et mainte recherche je trouve pas ma solution.

Voila mon souci j'ai une carte tnt "Terratec Cinergy 2400 MCE Edition (Double tuner TNT, PCI express 1X)"http://www.yourland-micro.com/produits/fic4671.html et je n'arrive pas a la faire fonctionner sous ubuntu ou simplement sur le noyau linux.

je sais pas du tout par ou commencer je connai rien de cette carte je l'ai depuis peu et sous windows c'etait tres simple big_smile, hors mis que je veux absolument passer definitivement sous nunux voila ou j'en suis.

quel commande dois-je taper pour connaitre mon tuner, quel genre de logiciel ferai l'affaire avec ce genre de carte ...??? tant de question ss reponses.

Si une ame sympatique voulais bien ce mouillier avec moi ca serai cool.
Je suis pret a tout ecouter a la lettre bouffer de la lecture si vous avez des liens suseptible de m'aider ou meme passer sous msn ou autre chat pour m'aider en direct je ferai une doc complete suite a cette aide pour aider a mon tour d'autre utilisateur.

Salut,

déjà tu peux aller ici pour voir si ta carte a été testé (apparemment non sad

Ensuite, il faut connaitre le chipset de ta carte (ex : cx88xx conexant pour une 1400 cinergy, la mienne en l'occurence smile qui marche très bien mieux que sur windows.

un "dmesg"en commande peut déjà nous aider
un "lspci" .
un "lsmod" pour voir les modules qui sont charger.

J'ai bien peur que ta seule chance soit d'essayer de compiler un des nouveaux noyaux Linux de la branche 2.6.17 ou pre-2.6.18, mais ca ne garantie rien.

Perso moi sous MCE elle marche tres bien aucun souci les 2 tuners lisent et enregistre sans souci, j'ai  la telecommande microsoft elle pilote tous a merveille mais sous ubuntu toujour rien.
D'une je manque de connaissance de deux personne n'a l'air de vraiment connaitre cette carte.

Ce que tu peux faire c'est compiler un nouveau noyau, voir si ca marche.

Si ca marche, tu peux soit rester avec ton nouveau noyau, soit essayer de recuperer le code du module de ta carte et voir s'il marche avec le noyau 2.6.15 de ta Dapper.

installe ton nouveau noyau et apres fait un

dmesg | grep video

et copie le contenu ici. Si ta carte est supportee, le noyau devrait enregistrer une entree "videoX" dans /dev
