installation modem usb adsl : conceptronic CADSLUG version 1.0-12

Bonjour,

Je viens d'essayer le live cd de Ubuntu 6.06, génial, car j'avais un problème d'installation avec la version 5.10. (Utilisateur novice un peu expérimenté).

Configuration : PC AMD64 3200+, 1Gb de ram en dual, carte mère Gigabyte GA-K8N51GMF-9.

Le problème : Je possède un modem Conceptronic Adsl USB L+DMT ( CADSLUG version 1.0-12) avec une puce GlobeSpan inc., le problème il ne fonctionne pas (led vert clignote)

En utilisant le live CD, dans le gestionnaire de périphérique, mon modem est référencé sur le port USB. Je trouve donc les paramètres suivants :

Y a-t'-il un drivers, un package ou une procédure pour pouvoir l'installer?
J'ai trouvé des renseignements pour le modem EciAdsl avec la même puce, mais puis-je l'utiliser?
Dans la négative, j'ai la possibilité d'acheter un modem D-Link DSL-320T avec connexion ethernet modem/pc.  Sera-t'-il utilisable sur Ubuntu?

Salut, il n'ya pas beaucoup d'infos sur le net au sujet de ton dongle, cela dit il en existe au moins un avec pour product ID: C11U, qui tourne avec un driver atmel.
Je ne sais pas si le tiens est semblable mais on peut toujours vérifier certaines choses.
Rebranche ton dongle et donne la sortie de dmesg et lsmod.
Et tant que t'y es celle de iwconfig.

Pourrais tu placer ton dmesg et ls mod entre des balises  Code ,ça facilitera la lecture merci.
Vu que ce n'est pas un wifi il faudrait que tu donnes le résultat de la commande:
  ifconfig
pour voir si ton interface réseau est bien montée dans quel cas il restera à la paraméter.

Désolé pour la longeur de ma réponse, mais s'est la premières fois que j'utilise le forum, je ne sais pas quelle balise utilisé pour cela.

Je crois avoir résolu mon problème, j'ai trouvé le site :

Le programme qu'ils ont conçu est développé pour le modem ECI Hifocus ADSL usb.
Dans une doc, ils indique que le drivers fonctionne avec les puces GolbeSpan GS 7070 et GS 7470; j'ai donc ouvert mon modem, celui-ci est constitué d'une puce GS 7070. En principe, le driver devrait être compatible.

Je vais donc installer leur package debian AMD64 :

J'ai aussi fait une trouvaille intéressante.
En effet il existe un paquet nomé eciadsl dans la catégorie
réseau (universe)que tu peux installer avec synaptic ou bien
en ligne de commande: sudo apt-get install eciadsl

Il te faut évidemment avoir activés les dépôts universe.

Donc a priori il y a là tout ce dont tu as besoin.
