échec des téléchargements des fichiers d'index, ubuntu
Bonjour,
Je suis encore sous ubuntu 8.10, car mon ordi n'a pas trop été utilisé l'année dernière. Si j'essaie de mettre à niveau ça me dit : "l'extraction de la mise à niveau à échoué, il y a peut être un problème de réseau ou de serveur" et si je veux faire des mises à jour : "Le dépôt n'est peut-être plus disponible ou il est impossible de le trouver suite à des problèmes de réseau. Une ancienne version de l'index sera utilisée si elle est disponible. Autrement, le dépôt sera ignoré. Vérifiez que votre connexion réseau est active et assurez-vous que l'adresse inscrite dans les préférences est valide pour ce dépôt."
Si je tape "sudo apt-get install -f" dans le terminal j'obtiens :

E: Le téléchargement de quelques fichiers d'index a échoué, ils ont été ignorés, ou les anciens ont été utilisés à la place.
Que dois-je faire ? le dépôt n'est plus valable parce que la version est trop vieille ?? je n'y comprends rien... Merci !

9.04 qui est la version au dessus est aussi trop vielle donc impossible de monté de niveau.
alors 2 chose
Si tu peux créé un cd ou live usb de lucid réinstalle sans formaté
Ou très risqué tu peux modifier le sources.list et remplacé intrepid par lucid. il fera la mise a jour directement vers lucid il te faut impérativement 1cd pour réinstaller au cas ou et le fichier ubuntu-desktop installé. déactivé les dêpots supplémentaires.
ubuntu-desktop est un méta paquet qui installera tous se dont ubuntu a besoin..

Je ne suis pas un geek ni un informaticien mais j'aime linux/ubuntu.
acer aspire5741G (unity 12.04))+une vieillebousse(xfce 12.04)
+teste de la version instable
