image economisur d'écran

Bonjour tout le monde
Quand je choisi l'image "moteur" l'image est bloquée et je ne vois aucun moyen de redemarrer le micro, souris, echap rien n'y fait il faut faire raiset. (ubuntu 6,10). quelqu'un a-t-il déjà eu ce pb. Pas de pb pour les autres images. Au revoir.

Bonjour,

Tu arrives à faire fonctionner les autres écrans de veille 3D? Quelle carte graphique possèdes-tu? Avec quel driver?
Si l'affichage est figé, au lieu de faire un "reset", tu peux appuyer sur Ctrl+Alt+Backspace, ça redémarre le serveur graphique...

La carte graphique est une carte integree a la carte mere. Le driver je ne sais pas !
Carte Mère MSI K8MM-V VIA SK754 DDR AGP MATX VGA/SATA/LAN/SON. Est ce que ce ne serait pas par hasard le manque de puissance de cette carte graphique ?. Il y a des images en 3d qui passent bien. Merci de votre reponse.

J'ai recommené l'expérience ctrl+alt+retour arriere rien à faire ça plante.

Désolé, mais là, je ne vois pas trop d'où ça vient...
Peut-être un problème matériel (alimentation instable ou trop faible) ? Enfin, si le problème ne survient qu'avec un seul écran de veille, c'est peut-être tout simplement un bug?

Il y a peut-être des informations dans les fichiers log. Au reboot après un plantage, un

dmesg

en console est parfois utile pour détecter des erreurs.

J'ai l'impression que ces messages concernent uniquement le boot et ne remontent pas assez loin pour voir le plantage...
Avec le "visionneur de journaux système" (menu Système > Administration) peut-être? En regardant les messages de Xorg...

Je remarque qu'il y a aussi d'autre écran ou ça plante par exemple faisceaux lumineux ça plante immediatement avant meme que le micro se mette en veille

Que donne:

glxinfo | grep rendering

Si c'est "no", il faudrait installer un driver pour le chipset graphique.

Alors la 3D fonctionne...
Peut-être des idées dans ce post.

1) Désactiver gnome-screensaver :
gconf-editor en console, puis dans />apps>gnome_settings_daemon>screensaver tu décoches start_screensaver et tu quittes.

2) Réactiver xscreensaver :
Dans Système > Préférences > Sessions > Programmes au démarage > Ajouter, tu ajoutes xscreensaver -no-splash.

3) Vérifier que la session sera enregistrée (Système > Préférences > Sessions > Options de la session > Enregistrer automatiquement les changements de la session, case à redécocher après le redémarrage) si tu le souhaites. Tu redémarres X (ctrl-alt-del) et ça devrait être bon (sinon tente le reboot).

A essayer en tout cas...
