[résolu] webcam LOGITECH QuickCam Connect & Quickcam IM

J'ai réussi à installer ma webcam Logitech Quickcam Connect grâce à ce tuto :

C'est en anglais mais facile à suivre
Normalement, ça fonctionne aussi pour les quickcam IM

En fait, suite à la mise à jour du kernel (2.6.17-10-generic vers 2.6.17-11-generic sous edgy), il faut reprendre l'installation de la webcam au point numéro 4 :

Logitech Quickcam IM and Quickcam Connect under Debian and derivatives

After a bit of searching on the web, I came up with the following steps to install a Logitech Quickcam IM or Quickcam Connect in Kubuntu. I’m running an up-to-date Edgy on this computer, although the same steps should work on Ubuntu Edgy and Debian Etch/Unstable.

   1. Make sure the module-assistant package is installed:

     

sudo apt-get install module-assistant

2. Install the spca5xx-source package:

     

sudo apt-get install spca5xx-source

3.  Have module-assistant prepare the build environment:

     

 sudo m-a prepare

At this point, if you do not have them installed already, module-assistant will download and install the build-essential package and your kernel headers.

   4. Use module-assistant to build and install the kernel module:

     

sudo m-a a-i spca5xx

5.  Check to make sure the module works by loading it:

     

sudo modprobe spca5xx

If everything works, and your camera is plugged into a USB port on your computer, the light on the front of the camera should turn on. You can check to see if it works in Kopete or Ekiga by checking the configuration menus. You should be able to see the camera’s output.

Congratulations! Your camera should now be completely functional. If you run into trouble, there are various other methods to configure the camera available on the Ubuntu Forums and other support resources. This is just the easiest method I’ve found. moi ça marche pas
ça plante à l'étape 4, j'ai le message suivant qui s'affiche :

La construction du paquet spca5xx-source a échoué. Que        │       
       │ souhaitez-vous faire ?                                        │       
       │                                                               │       
       │   VIEW     Examiner le fichier journal de la construction     │       
       │   CONTINUE Passer et continuer avec l'opération suivante      │       
       │   STOP     Arrêt du traitement des commandes de construction  │ 

là j'avoue de ne pas savoir résoudre le problème....:rolleyes:

as-tu lu la page  http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/gspca_spca5xx  ???

Il faut choisir le bon "driver" selon sa version de kernel
Tiens nous au courant !
