petit probleme pour warcraft III

Bon voila y a deja x sujet sur war3 mais j'ai jeté un coup d'oeil et je crois bien ne pas avoir vu le mien traité (du moins jespere). Donc voila jai reussi (apres kelke galere mais bon passons ...) a installer war3 avec wine sous linux il se lance sans probleme et marche avec le son et tout et tout. Quel bonheur se serait s'il n'etait pas ralenti au point d'en etre injouable !

Salut,

Il semblerait que tu n'as pas activer la 3D. As-tu installé les drivers de ta carte graphique? Quel matériel as-tu? Et qu'y at-il dans ton fichier /etc/X11/xorg.conf?

alors alors j'ai une ATI radeon 9200 SE et mes drivers semblent installés.

Ah non, ton driver n'est pas installé. Sinon il serait écrit "ATI Radeon 9200" ou un truc dans le genre. Là tu as le driver par défaut qui ne te permettra pas de bénéficier de l'accélération 3D matériel.

Parle pas trop vite jai jamais réussi à faire marcher l'accéleration graphique sur ma 9600pro (alors que le driver était installé, double écran et compagnie mais pas d'accélération ^^).

Sinon bon courage ! (et truc idiot n'oublie pas le -opengl à la fin du raccourci w3, on sait jamais !)

Je joue sur war3 depuis quelques mois sur ubuntu ca tourne au poil sauf :
Alsa sur le dernier wine provoque des plantages et empeche les alt tab sous peine de bugs graphiques
OSS tourne nickel (mais a pu le son sur firefox en meme temps :'( )
-> aoss fonctionne avec wine sur oss, apparemment mieux que wine sur alsa, qui en plus provoque une grosse latence au niveau du son

Waaaghtv tourne au poil sur wine, que ce soit le client java (meme pas besoin de wine !), ou le client exe

Je crois qu'il faut installer une police pour avoir les fonts comme sur windows pour les chats dans le jeu

J'ai aussi un 9600 sur mon portable et ça marche également
Pour l'option -opengl moi je ne l'utilise jamais et de toute façon à la fin de l'install il te met un jolie racourcis sur le bureau

Bon tout d'abord merci pour votre aide ca m'a bein aidé mais il semblerait kil reste un probleme avec mon pc warcraft tourne mieux mais bon c'ets pas ca dc je sais pas si c'est au cause de l'acceleration ou si ya encore un autre probleme ...

Salut,

A priori rien de grave dans ces traces, peut être auras-tu quelques soucis avec le son. Mais une chose à la fois

Si tu n'as toujours pas un bon taux de fps, c'est à coup sûr que ton driver n'est pas correctement installé. Pour t'en rendre compte, tu peux tester avec la commande fglx-gears ou glx-gears. Normalement les roues doivent être fluide.

Montre nous ton fichier /etc/X11/xorg.conf.

En effet, je me suis trompé c'est glxgears tout attaché et surement de même pour l'autre. Apparement ton driver n'est toujours pas correctement installé

ça indique que tu utilises le driver par défaut qui ne supporte pas la 3D. De mémoire c'est radeon qu'il faut, je vérifierais sur mon portable quand j'aurais le temps
