[ résolu ] perdu Windows
Bonjour, après avoir installé des mises à jour pour ubuntu je n'ai plus windows au démarage de mon pc mais deux versions de Linux, je suis débutant avec Linux et je ne sais pas utiliser la ligne de commande mais je ne demande qu'à apprendre...
J'aimerai retrouver windows, merci.

étrange , normalement les mise a jours ne touchent pas à l'entrée de windows.

C'est normal que tu ne voies rien quand tu tapes. Entre simplement ton mot de passe et appuie sur entrée.

Rien ne s'affiche quand tu tapes le mot de passe et c'est normal. Ce que tu tapes est quand même pris en compte.

ps : la prochaine fois utilise les balises code au lieu de mettre le contenu d'un fichier brutalement dans ton post.

regarde le lien de abetsic et si tu as bien tout compris tu arrives a cette conclusion :
il faut rajouter :

chainloader +1
a la fin de fichier /boot/grub/menu.lst
pour l'éditer : "gksu gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst"
et voila normalement c'est bon

Lors d'une mise à jour du noyau, grub regarde ce qu'il trouve comme noyau
dans la partition renseignée par
# groot=(hd0,1)
Et place entre les deux 'END" du menu.lst ce qu'il trouve comme noyau.
Par conséquent, si on place les entrées windows ou autres os entre les deux end,
ils seront écrasés.

Si tu veux que par défaut c'est windows qui se lance, tu comptes
le nombre d'entrée (title) avant l'entrée windows (exemple 5),
tu changes alors dans le menu.lst la ligne

Le le c'est l'entrée windows à rajouter et non ###END DEBIAN etc...

Démarre sur ubuntu et fais ce que xelator a dit.
tu ouvres le fichier menu.lst en tapant
sudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst
regarde le lien de abetsic et si tu as bien tout compris tu arrives a cette conclusion :
il faut rajouter :title Microsoft Windows XP root (hd0,0) savedefault makeactive chainloader +1
a la fin de fichier /boot/grub/menu.lst
pour l'éditer : "gksu gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst"
et voila normalement c'est bon

ca marche pas..Bon , j'ai tapé Echap au démarrage du pc, ensuite je suis tombé sur la liste des systemes au démarrage, donc plusieurs versions ubuntu. j'ai sélectioné Ubuntu generic et appuyé sur c pour avoir accès à Grub.J'ai tapé avec difficulté: sudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst après le ' Grub>' clignotant car certaine touches du clavier ne correspondent pas aux lettres tapées. Là le systeme me dit que la cde n'est pas bonne (ERROR)...OUFF heureusement que vous êtes là...C'est plus facile de regarder la télé:D
