Problème : Résolution + Wifi

Bonjour à tous

J'ai des problèmes pour installer Ubuntu sur mon PC.

1. Le 1er est la résolution de l'écran. Même si au départ de l'installation je choisis les résolutions 1024x768 ou supérieures, je suis toujours en 800x600. Lorsque je veux installer Ubuntu via l'icone Installer, la résolution est tellement petite que je ne peux pas voir le bas de la fenêtre pour faire les divers réglages que demandent l'installation
J'ai essayé de redimensionner, déplacer et tout ce qu'on veut la fenêtre mais rien n'y fait...
Je possède un écran Samsung 19'' Wide résolution max. 1440x900. Que dois je faire?

2. Aussi, je n'arrive pas à régler le Wifi en WPA. Lorsque je clique sur l'icone Réseau dans la barre système, il me propose les réseaux sans fil, je choisis donc le mien, mais il ne me propose pas le cryptage WPA ! Seulement "Clé WEP (hexadécimal)" et "Clé WEP (ASCII)" sont proposés et ne correspondent pas à ma config... Comment faire?

pour la première chose je ne peux rien affimer
mais quand tu édites

sudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf

tu as à peu près ça

J'ai essayé ce que tu m'as dit mais cela ne marche pas
J'ai tapé lspci et voilà mon carte graphique :
"VGA compatible controller : nVidia corporation C51G [GeForce 6100] (rev a2)"

J'ai essayé d'installer la CG comme indiqué dans la doc 'nvidia' mais ca ne marche pas...

Sinon, pour le WPA, j'ai essayé en suivant la doc 'wpa' d'installer avec WPA-Supplicant mais rien n'y fait... C'est bizare qu'il ne propose que le WEP quand même!

Est ce que le problème pourrait venir de la version 64bits que j'essai d'installer au lieu de la 32?

pour le wpa, essaie par network-manager.
pour la nvidia, fais une recherche dans la doc, il y a d'autres tutos
sinon , chez nvidia, il y a ça

quant à l'histoire du 64 bits, je n'en sais rien.
