[Résolu] Installation ubuntu lenovo y580 dual boot windows 8
Bonjour,
J'ai tenté d'installer ubuntu sur mon lenovo y580 sur un ssd crucial m4 256 go en msata.
lors de l'installation, windows 8 n'est pas détecter et il est marquer qu'il y a 256 go de disponible alors que windows 8 est installé dessus.
J'ai cherché sur google, il est indiqué plusieurs manipulation qui ne me paraisse pas très clair.
J'ai cru comprendre qu'il faut modifier certaines options dans le bios.
Je tiens à préciser que c'est la version 12.04 lts que j'ai tenté d'installer et non la 13.04 car le rétro éclairage ne marché pas sur cette dernière.
Est-ce que quelqu'un à eu ce même type de problème? car étant novice je ne vois pas d'où proviens ce problème.

Pour installer Ubuntu en cohabitation avec Windows 8 préinstallé, il faut prendre le version 12.04.2 de Ubuntu (les versions 12.04 et 12.04.1 ne conviennent pas car elles ne sont pas compatibles Secure Boot). Je te prie de réaliser depuis Windows une liveUSB d'installation de cette version 12.04.2 en suivant strictement cette procédure : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.ph … #p10730101
Si tu parviens à démarrer en mode EFI (voir indications ici) sur cette liveUSB avec le choix "Essayer Ubuntu", je te prie de répondre à cette demande pour faire un "état des lieux" : http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/tutoriel/boot-info

Je plussoie, et surtout repartitionne ton disque depuis Windows si tu ne veux pas avoir trop de galères avec celui-ci.

@malbo et @PPdM, j'ai d'abord partitionné 30 go et quelques sur windows avant de faire la manipulation demander.
Je ne trouve pas windows 8 meme avec le livecd gparted, ni celle créé.
De plus je ne vois pas les 30 go allouées.

sinon déjà la partition pour Ubuntu ne soit pas être créée et elle doit juste être un espace non alloué.
Par contre je ne comprend pas ce que tu entends par je ne vois pas windows, sur ton past il y a bien les différents volumes

J'ai testé dans deux cas de figure, la première c'est celle non allouée et l'autre formaté en ntfs.
Sur le paste il y a bien mes volumes mais pas lorsque j'installe ubuntu, par exemple il ne me demande pas si je veux installer ubuntu à coté de windows.
Il me propose soit de tout formaté et de laisser ubuntu ou bien "autre".
je ne comprend pas pourquoi l'installation me propose un sdd "vide" alors que windows est dessus.

GUID Partition Table detected, but does not seem to be used.cela signifie qu'à l'origine sda et sdb avaient une table de partition GPT et je ne sais pas trop comment tu as fait mais tu as installé Windows en mode Bios(MBR) dans ces deux lecteurs. Malheureusement, il reste des traces de l'ancien partitionnement GPT et c'est ce qui perturbe Gparted qui est utilisé par l'installateur de Ubuntu. Il faudra installer gdisk depuis la session live en passant d'abord cette commande dans un terminal :
sudo apt-get updatepuis valider par la touche Entrée et laisser bosser
puis passer la commande d'installation proprement dite de gdisk :
sudo apt-get install gdiskQuand gdisk sera installé, il faudra appliqué la réparation décrite par ikewdu à sda et à sdb

Merci à vous pour vos réponses.
Alors j'ai effectué la manipulation via gdisk et ça fonctionne.
Par contre je vais expliquer les contrainte que j'ai eu :
- gdisk n'a pas voulu s'installer sur ubuntu 12.04, j'ai dû installer ubuntu 13.04 malgré le fait que je pensais ne pas avoir de rétroéclairage et pourtant,
pour ce problème il suffisait juste d'augmenter manuellement la luminosité via la touche fn.
